I slept with the wrong twin. And all I got for it in return was a broken heart. Oh yeah, and a baby on the way—there’s that too.But I’m determined to make it on my own. I don’t need a man, thank you very much. Not rich, charismatic, and decidedly flighty Rex Roosevelt, and especially not his twin brother, Justin. No matter that the gorgeous former military doctor makes my heart beat a little faster … beat a little faster . . . and all spots lower than that pay careful, careful attention.
None of that matters. The Roosevelt men are dangerous and I’m steering clear.
The trouble is, Justin refuses to leave me be.
And deep down, I don’t want to avoid him.
Deep down, I want to be even closer.

Disaster at Roosevelt Ranch (Roosevelt Ranch #1) was a great read by Elise Faber. Kelly finds out that she slept with the wrong twin and is now heartbroken and pregnant. She’s determined to make it on her own. Justin is the “good” twin who she’s attracted to and fighting the attraction. But Justin refuses to leave her be, especially when he finds out that she’s pregnant. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more in this series.
Great Story & Narration Captivating & Heartfelt!
Disaster at Roosevelt Ranch
By: Elise Faber
Narrated by: Keira Stevens
I enjoyed this book immensely, the story grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it straight to the end. Elise Faber is a gifted author with a wonderful writing style, the story and characters she created are realistic and easy to relate to. I adored the two lead characters Kelly Hamilton and Justin Roosevelt, some of the secondary characters were great too. Kelly loves horses and worked on a ranch, when the ranch got sold she stayed on and wound up getting involved with the new owner, Rex Roosevelt, who turns out to be a total jerk. He winds up firing her and then leaves the ranch. Rex’s brother Justin always cleaned up his twin brother’s messes, he heads to the ranch to see what kind of mess he left. Stopping in the dinner in town he runs into Kelly, who asks where Rex is and then blurts out that she is pregnant. So Justin has a lot more to clean up than the ranch. Even though Kelly was fired from her job at the ranch she continued to go there to work with the horses. Justin is unsure of her, thinking she may be after Rex for his money, but the more he sees of her the more he realizes she is not about that at all. She comforts and grounds him but she is carrying her brothers child so that makes her off limits. Kelly thinks the same but she realizes that her feelings for Rex was nothing compared to what she feels for Justin. The chemistry between them is undeniable and they could only deny themselves for so long. I loved how everything played out in this book, the story is nicely plotted with plenty of drama, a touch of angst, lots of heartfelt and emotional moments and some hot romance. Elise Faber thank you for the great story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
And for the audio, Keira Stevens is a fabulous narrator and versatile voice artist. She performs the voices for all the characters, covers both the male and female roles with perfection, giving each their own unique sound which makes it easy to follow along and know who is who. She sets the perfect tone for the story and you could hear how much heart she puts into her work as she captures the character’s emotions and projects them into her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen

Great Story
Kelly loved working at the ranch and thought she cared about Rex but he fired her and dumped her all at once. Now Kelly is pregnant and needs to tell him but there is one new factor his brother is in town. Justin is Rex’s twin. But she goes to tell Rex and finds Justin and Rex gone. It gets good.
Kelly hooked up with Rex Roosevelt . ended up pregnant. Rex left to conquer the world. His twin , Justin comes home after being away.
Kelly still comes over every day to take care of horses even though shes not employed there anymore. After Justin finds out that Rex got her pregnant and has no intention of coming back, he feels he has an obligation to take care of her. Their friendship turns into love. but there’s one thing that can endanger their relationship. Can Kelly open her heart after being betrayed by the one man she !oved and trusted?
Kiera Stevens narration captures the emotions, of all the characters. She is an amazing storyteller, making the characters so real and fun.

Disaster at Roosevelt Ranch
By: Elise Faber
Narrated by: Keira Stevens
I wasn’t sure what to expect with the title of this book, but the story certainly surprised me! Kelly is pregnant with Rex’s baby. Now some may think this is a disaster, but babies Kelly doesn’t. While not in love with Rex, she is determined to give this baby everything it needs. In walks Justin, Rex’s twin brother, and the sparks between these two are impossible to ignore. But can will they? It’s a push-pull story of what is expected and what is real. It’s a love story that is full of heart and soul. It’s a family’s struggle to get through past obstacles and find their way. It’s greed and disillusionment that can’t see the good in people. I loved this book, full of feels, full of love and full of life. It’s real and passionate, the way Eilise Faber always writes giving us her best stories and winning our hearts.
Keira Stevens gives an amazing performance as she narrates this story. I always enjoy her voices, and she interprets the stories just as I think they are meant to be told. Her voices are so easy to navigate and she gives each character that extra special touch to make them unique.

A sweet heartwarming story. A little angst, a little complicated starting with the wrong twin, a mistake, but ends with the right twin and an HEA.
Keira did a wonderful job bringing these characters to life.

Very good stories!
Audio Review: Disaster at Roosevelt Ranch (Roosevelt Ranch, #1) by Elise Faber (Author), Keira Stevens (Narrator)
I was drawn to Justin and Kelly, oddly enough because I happened to stumble upon Justin’s twin brother Rex’s story first. There was a history there and I wanted to know just what it was. Faber didn’t disappoint. Disaster at Roosevelt Ranch turned out to be a heartbreaker. Kelly lost her heart to one twin and found her forever with the other. Mr. Wrong turned out to be the best decision she ever made. Justin and Kelly endear themselves to your heart with a back story that is not always beautiful, but a romance that is oh so sweet. Narrator, Keira Stevens wraps herself around each word she utters and takes control of emotions in the most subtle of ways.
Another fantasy
Maybe not a disaster but definitely a minefield!
Roosevelt Ranch is definitely on my to visit list. The scenery and horses seem like a dream come true…or maybe it’s the young, incredibly sexy former military doctor. Yeah, totally the scenery!
This sweet story about not being able to help who you fall for could be a cautionary tale except it has a happy ending. (Again see hot, sexy former military doctor!)
A disaster has been averted but it looks like one on the horizon. That epilogue didn’t leave any warm fuzzies but it did leave anger and doubt! Heartbreak is definitely pending!
This story started out a bit differently than I thought it would by the blurb and have to say that I was pleased with the way it went. A bit of uniqueness with the direction of this book which made it even more enjoyable than it would have been if it went the way I was thinking. This is definitely a love story that everyone would enjoy.
This jumped to my top 10 favorites.
Great read
Kelly and Justin’s story is incredible. I felt Kelly’s pain with her. And Justin realizing what the issue was with himself, Red and Vince was amazing. I couldn’t finish the book fast enough. I hope there will be stories for Vince, Rex and Henry. Esther is a fantastic side character!
Amazing. Loved the good/bad brothers. Sweet story.
This is the first read from this author for me. It’s not new. It’s not unique. It’s not high drama. Well, unless you count the whole storyline. But it IS cute, quick, sweet, and entertaining. I probably won’t remember much of the details in a week or so, or really? After I become immersed in my next read. It was enjoyable while I was reading, though.
