Millionaire nightclub owner Jake Lawson works hard, but executive concierge Ainsley Scott is showing him how to let loose…in the sexiest possible way! I knew I was in trouble the moment millionaire Jake Lawson walked through the door of his swanky Tribeca loft. The definition of tall, dark and handsome, he’s hired me to take care of his parents’ Irish wolfhound. But one game of strip Scrabble … strip Scrabble later and we’re taking care of each other all night long…
Starting my concierge business was my way out of the rat race I ran as a lawyer until it cost me my fiancé. And Jake is a full-on workaholic, certain his high-end nightclub will fall apart if he loses focus for a second. We couldn’t be more different. But the chemistry between us is off the charts!
From drag-queen karaoke to movies at Hudson River Park, I’m showing Jake how to lighten up and enjoy everything New York City has to offer. But I can’t help wondering if blowing each other’s minds in bed is enough to make up for our different values. Can Jake step away from his smartphone long enough to give us a chance?

Hilarious and fun and sexy! Definitely check out this book!
Sass and sizzle and swooning, oh my! What a fabulous stay-at-home read. You’ll fan yourself and smile your way to HEA.
Dirty Work is everything you want in a book and more. It’s a great escapism from the world. It sucks you in from start to finish. From the moment I read the first few lines I knew I’d love it. Regina Kyle is new to me, but not anymore. I plan to add plenty to my tbr. I loved Jake and Ainsley; both ambitious but yet two worlds apart. Jake is a die-hard workaholic who doesn’t know when to clock-out. Ainsley is super goal oriented and takes pride in her work but isn’t a stick-in-the-mud. When these two actually meet the steam factor is off the charts. I love how Kyle ties their world together, and makes them question what they can and can’t live without. Overall, thought this was a great story I was lucky enough to receive in exchange for an honest review.
After working her high powered job as a lawyer in a prestigious firm, Anisley Scott realizes there is more to life than working a job you no longer like. She quits and opens up an executive concierge service called Odds and Ends. As a favor to a friend, plus she can’t pass up the money, she agrees to break her “no dogs” rule and take care of Roscoe, an Irish wolfhound while Brie is away. Roscoe is staying with Brie’s brother Jake Lawson, a millionaire nightclub owner, who by the way, is a workaholic. The first time they meet, their chemistry is off the charts. Jake begins to spend more time with Ainsley, including helping her set up for a bachelorette party where the theme is penises. Hysterical. Soon Jake begins to realize that the business will still continue without him there every minute with the help of his partner.
The attraction between the two characters is hot. Both characters come to the realization that there is more to life than work to make you happy. There are many very funny parts in this book besides the penis themed bachelorette party including bringing Jake to a drag queen show. This is Regina King’s first foray into writing for the Dare series by Harlequin. I must say, I am hooked and look forward to her next book
While this was a sexy read, I would have liked more out of the bedroom interaction. Great dialogue, interesting characters and lots of steam.
I received a free copy from the author. This is my unbiased review.
I absolutely adore Jake. He is sexy and driven but still manages to be fun. Ainsley is sweet and witty and fun and independent. She is also selfconscious around her mother and about her decision to change careers. This story is unique and interesting and fun. I love Mia and Conner and Brie. I can’t wait for another story from this group. I hope to see Roscoe again.

I really enjoyed Jake and Ainsley’s story! So many fun elements to this book – dog, workaholic hero, plenty of chemistry. I love it when heroes fall fast and hard. I wanted the story to be longer. I’m not the biggest fan of 1st person, but Ms. Kyle did a good job of making me forget it.
Ainsley and Jake’s story was great and I enjoyed it. I liked that Ainsley and Jake meet because she is helping her best friend out by walking the dog. I really enjoyed reading their story.

Tired of the endless hours working to make junior partner at a law firm, Ainsley strikes out on her own as an executive concierge. As a concierge, Ainsley and her coworkers will do just about anything contracted to do—except take care of animals. They have a strict no-animal policy. When a friend offers an outrageous amount of money to dog sit for three months, Ainsley can’t turn it down. Ainsley decides to take full responsibility of Roscoe, not even telling her coworkers. Ainsley wants to be able to prove to her mom, former coworkers, and herself that she can be successful—while also enjoying life and not working herself to death.
Jake, a millionaire nightclub owner, is a certified workaholic. He lives and breathes work. He knows what it’s like to struggle in life and NEVER wants that for himself. But at what cost? When Jake meets Ainsley, there’s an instant chemistry, but also a great camaraderie. She’s his “yin to her yang”. But when he misses out on an important business opportunity, he retreats and pushes Ainsley away.
Jake and Ainsley are polar opposites, but that’s what makes them a perfect match. He makes her want to be successful in business, while she helps him relax and enjoy life. I LOVED his “grand gesture”!!! Not really sure this is a workplace romance as they don’t work together per se, but it was highly enjoyable. HOT and STEAMY packed with witty banter, movie references, and amusement park adventures. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.
I loved this!
This was a fast, steamy but ultimately very cute story! Ainsley and Jake have a whirlwind romance with a lot of fun banter and scorching hot scenes. I loved how they balanced each! Add in an adorable dog, great secondary characters and lots of fantastic movie references, Dirty Work is definitely a five star read!
4 1/2 STARS!
Sizzling chemistry! DIRTY WORK by Regina Kyle is so much fun to read! An adorable (or not!) meet-cute involving a dog has this couple under each other’s skin from the first moment they meet and it’s simply delightful.
Ainsley Scott is a breath of fresh air. She is simply doing a favor for a friend when she agrees to add a dog to her list of chores every day for a few months, but never once did she think said friend’s brother would sweep her off her feet and into a hot and heavy affair … but she’s gotta admit, she’s loving it!
Jake Lawson is sex on a stick the second we meet him. He’s a successful nightclub owner and knows just how tempting he is from the word go. Their passion begins as a slow burn but once it ignites, it’s game over.
I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a fast paced, sexy read with lots of heart and humor throughout. Really enjoyed it.
What can I say? This was a hot and spicy read. The chemistry between Ansley and Jake was . I did not know Harlequin had heat to this level in their books. I thoroughly enjoyed Dirty Work, Roscoe was funny and lazy. I definitely will be reading more by this author.
Ainsley works as an executive concierge doing odd jobs that busy people can’t do themselves. Her best friend talks her into making a pet exception with her because she needs help with her parents dog. So Ainsley agrees reluctantly starts walking the dog. When Ainsley meets Jake the first time its because he is late arriving home and she had to come back out to check on the dog again. Sparks fly between them and she warns him if it happens again that she’ll charge him extra. When Jake gets hurts at work Ainsley steps in and helps him and they grow closer. However the closer they get the less he thinks about work. Will he have to choose between her and his business? Will Ainsley wait for him to pick her?
This is a great story that once I started it I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

A fun, steamy romance, with compelling characters.
4 ½ stars
Jake is a workaholic and is currently taking care of his parent’s beast of a dog while they are out of town and his sister knows he needs help. Enter executive concierge Ainsley and all his problems are solved. The only problem is that he wants Ainsley to take care of him too.
Their fast moving relationship has them both scratching their heads and wondering if this could last. Will they let their guards down and just be with each other?
I voluntarily read an advance copy without expectation for review, all opinions expressed are my own. I am a huge fan of Regina Kyle ad this latest release does little to dampen my fandom for her.
Can a workaholic and someone that has learned there is more to life than work find happiness together? This was a fun and steamy opposites attract romance. Filled with plenty of humor, without being stupid humor, this book hooked me from page one!
I loved the banter and insta-chemistry between our leads, Ainsley and Jake! It was just the story to break me out of my reading rut. The addition of that rascal Roscoe brought even more humor into this sexy and hilarious romp. The one-liners made me laugh out loud through the whole book and the drag queen karaoke scene was pure comic gold!
Ms. Kyle brought New York City alive for this reader who’s been to many Broadway shows but hasn’t seen the everyday life that Ainsley deals with or the nightlife that Jake is part of building. That was definitely fun for me, as I’m mostly a small town reader, and it presented the city as a vital character in this read.
Secondary characters add flavor to any story and the author has intertwined some intriguing relationships between Ainsley and her co-workers as well as Jake and his friend and business partner, Connor. Of course, the bridge between our leads is Brie, Ainsley’s friend and Connor’s sister. Might there be a story for her and another familiar character? I certainly hope so!
Fun and sexy read is a winner for me!
Dirty Work is a steamy, sexy and exciting read. This story is filled with humor, dynamic character interaction and melting the sheets moments. I really enjoyed this short read and highly recommend you grab a copy yourself

I love all Harlequin Dare books and Regina Kyle dies not disappoint with Dirty Work. Ainsley got tired of the rat race to partner in a law firm. She started her own errand/executive concierge business. A friend asks her to help care for her parents dog, who is staying with her workaholic brother Jake. Ainsley agrees to help her friend having never met Jake. When Jake comes home and Ainsley is there with Roscoe sparks start to fly. Lots of sexual tension, sexy scenes, and a very happy ending make Dirty Work an enjoyable feel good read!
