She fell from grace the second her lips touched his. He only meant to dirty her up, not keep her. Brianna Andrews was tasked to find criminal evidence that would put an Acerbi behind bars for life. Instead, she got involved with the very man she was supposed to handcuff all while keeping a life-altering secret from Drago that she should told him from the beginning. Keeping Gabriel’s true identity … beginning.
Keeping Gabriel’s true identity from Drago is the least of her worries. The baby she’s spent months caring for and bonding with is gone. Taken. Sebastian Diaz barged into her home and stole two precious lives from Bri.
If she’s going to save one of them she can’t allow despair, hate, or sorrow to get in her way. She’s after more than just Gabriel’s safety. She wants an eye for eye.
*** This is book two of three. The story does not conclude until the last book in the triology. ***

OH. MY. GOD.
That is all I can coherently come up with, besides READ THIS BOOK!
Good cops. Bad cops. Dirty cops. Drug dealers. Babies. I mean we get it all.
Fan for life!
This is the second installment in this series. They MUST be read in order. This books starts where the first one left us hanging. I had to jump right into this book from the first one. Dirty War is filled with suspense and drama, just like Dirty Blue, but I found it even more heart wrenching. I know there were times I held my breath hoping for someone to rescue me, and Brianna! I found myself hoping for Drago to return, for Brianna to succeed in her mission, and for a happy ending. But the twists and turns left me surprised, and guessing throughout the story. Once again, I am hanging off the edge of a cliff as the story ends. I cannot wait to jump into Dirty Sin and hear more about Brianna and Drago and even little Gabe.
Charley Ongel brings Brianna to life. Ms. Ongel’s narration made me feel every emotion, struggle and heart wrenching moment of Brianna’s. Ms. Ongel easily narrates all the characters and keeps them distinct and easy to follow. She has a smooth male voice that does not feel forced. This story has so many different moving pieces and Ms. Ongel uses the perfect infliction to bring it all out. I am completely hooked on this series and cannot wait to listen to the next book.
Dirty War
Dirty Justice Trilogy, Book 2
By: N. E. Henderson
Narrated by: Charley Ongel
After listening to book one, I could not wait to dive into the next in the series to see what was going to happen to Brianna and Drago. We left things up in the air, Bri was in trouble and Drago is gone. Bri is healing and now on a mission, with a new partner whom we don’t know if we can trust. There is a lot going on, unexpected twists and turns, moments of fear, dread, happiness and love. It’s got a little of everything! I love a book that makes you think and enjoy it at the same time, and Henderson is masterfully weaving a tale that does just that. I am completely invested in the outcome of the characters, wanting them to succeed in their missions and find their happiness. This one ends on a complete surprise and now it’s important to grab the final installment of the trilogy!
Charley Ongel is on point with her narration. She is enhancing this story with the consistent voices from book to book, and her ability to make us feel all the feels. There is so much going on, and she pulls us into each scene. I can’t wait to hear the next book!

4 star review of Dirty War (Dirty Justice Trilogy #2) by N E Henderson
Audio Review:
N E Henderson is a relatively new author to me although I have listened to narrator Charley Ongel before. This is a trilogy and NOT a stand alone, so be prepared for it to end on a cliffhanger. You will need to have read, book one Dirty Blue before listening to this one and also listen or read book three Dirty Sin to get the conclusion.
Another raw, gripping suspense story that was just as captivating as the first book in the series. There is plenty of action, twists and turns which will have you reeling along with passion and romance as Bri and Drago are torn apart by circumstance.
This book was well written, emotional and at times was a roller coaster of a listen. I cannot wait to listen to the conclusion to see what NE Henderson has in store.
Holy Baby Jesus this book started right where Dirty Blue ended and I was so excited to see what the hell was going on. When I finished the first book I was like WTF with that huge cliffhanger but I was excited to see where this story was going and holy hell I was not disappointed.
I will not ruin this book by saying any spoils but I will say this holy mind eff and twists and turns man I did not know what was going down because so much was happening all at once. Plus Drago I was a little mad at him in this book because he was being a real arse and his behavior was off the chain. He needs to do some serious recon if he thinks Brianna is going to tolerate that mess.
This is a must must read series and I need the third book because yes I will say it again N.E. WTF with that cliffhanger of an ending I mean it was worse than the first book. I was screaming at my kindle and crying because man shizz went down and it was crazy as hell.
Dirty War was another wonderfully written book by Mrs. Henderson. It was a story full of emotion. Right from the start it grabbed hold of me and took my heart for a ride. I guessed the opening surprise but only because it’s easy for me to put myself in Bri’s place. It wasn’t hard for me to imagine what could be one of the most horrible scenarios to happen on top of what already transpired. My heart broke for her.
This segment of Bri and Drago’s story was full of twist, turns and unexpected surprises.
It was definitely a story about forgiveness, healing and justice.
I can’t wait to find out what happens next in their story.
The talented N.E. Henderson creates complex and memorable characters that stay with you long after the last page of a book. She gives insight into their actions and their way of thinking in such a way that it is impossible to not want to know and to crave more. And that is exactly what she did in Dirty War, the second installment of the Dirty Justice series.
The book stars exactly where Dirty Blue ended, with LAPD detective Brianna Andrews in the hospital, Drago Acerbi’s son missing and one hell of a discovery. If in book 1 the chemistry between the main characters was off the charts, here is even steamier and more intense. You get a 360 degree insight into what Brianna thinks and feels, and why she behaves the way she does.
I won’t tell how the story unfolds, because the element of surprise makes the reading experience 100 times better. In fact, N. E. Henderson demonstrates once more that she is a talented storyteller with a plot that keeps changing in unexpected ways. Every time you think you know what is going on, she will prove you wrong.
Dirty War must be read after Dirty Blue. But don’t worry, you are in for a treat!
Dirty War by N. E. Henderson is the 2nd book in the Dirty Justice Series. You must read book 1, Dirty Blue first. It is a romantic suspense. Bri is so bad ass! She is a cop that walks the line and follows the rules. She finds herself questioning everything she has ever believed. She is pushed to cross lines that she never believed she would cross. Just when you think you have it all figured out… BOOM! N.E. Henderson will blow your mind! She is the queen of unpredictable twists and turns! This book and these characters are fantastic and completely unforgettable. I finished this book in one sitting but I will be thinking about it for the next several days.
