Dirty Ties

I really enjoyed this book. This is my first book by this author and I will for sure check out her other books. Even though bikes scare the beejesus outta me, I could maybe get on board if Logan helped me out! Kaci was a strong character and oh boy, was Logan out for some serious revenge. I thought the story was good, fast paced, it really kept my interest and hella hot! I think a book about Logan’s sidekick Benny would be awesome. You really don’t know that much about her except she’s a wiz on computers and super secret spy stuff. Overall, a book worth checking out.

Hello….tall dark and mysterious

Dirty Ties is filled with intrigue, lies, and danger. It’s hot and all those engines will make you tingle. The cat and mouse tease with the hot racer will get your heart thumping and blood pumping.

Certain characters will throw you off your game while others are the evil you think they are. Choose your allies well.

Oh and when I grow up, I want to live at The Watch. Yes and RC better be there.

This book was so EFFIN good!!!!

OMG!! This was my first Pam Godwin read and I have to say, I was blown away. This book has made me a HUGE fan. From the very beginning, I was yanked into this story and held captive by it’s intriguing story line.

The story starts off already letting us know that Kaci is in a VERY unconventional marriage and lives a life different from what she’d really want. On the outside, she’s the epitome of poise and class from her posh upbringing but appearances can be deceiving. She longs for the freedom to be who she wants to be and has her eye on a certain illegal bike racer. She goes to each of his races…decked out in her own bike gear and she eyes him at the finish line with every race. She joins the police dept, the audience and the media in wanting to know this mysterious guy’s identity.

Logan races with a purpose. He’s spent his whole life planning revenge for his mother’s murder. Racing finances those plans. But he didn’t plan on those races bringing a certain spectator that he’s grown to fantasize about.

Neither know anything about each other nor do they know how the other looks. Only that the are each drawn to the mystery of one another. Then… they finally meet. End up having this amazing intense scene in an elevator and all while still wearing their helmets. OMG! It had to be one of the hottest, most intense elevator scenes I’ve read in a really long time.

Then poor Kaci gets pulled into Logan’s plans for revenge and I CRINGED and what Logan put her through. I was torn for feeling sorry for Kaci and understanding why Logan did what he did. I was on both their sides and it was so hard for me to be mad at him for what he did. My heart ached for Kaci though. She didn’t deserve what happened to her. She was collateral damage at the time, but that’s OK. She was tough. She held her own quite well.

Logan and Kaci had such a scorching connection that I was in insta-love with both of them. They were amazing characters. Both strong, caring, sexy, determined, and sexy. Did I say sexy? The story was oh so gripping from page 1. Pam Godwin gives us the perfect about of suspense, mystery, angst and oh so hot and steamy sex. Geesh, it was intense. Once I started, I. Could, Not. Put. It. Down.
