This is the story of Clay (Saint) & Samantha. Clay owns a bar, not in a rich neighborhood. Samantha’s family is rich and her father has arranged a marriage for her, so that the company can stay in the family. Samantha runs away because she is having no part in that. She wants to live a life where she can make her own choices. She ends up in Clay’s bar and gets drunk. He takes care of her that night. A lot happens after that. This is a very sexy and steamy story with deep dark things from the past on Clay’s part. They having amazing chemistry between them. I like that Samantha took the initiative first. I can’t say enough about this book. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.
Great story. I actually read Levi’s first and then double backed. Loved learning about clay. Poor clay. He is so amazing. Grew up so fast and then protected and raised his younger brothers. Often bearing the brunt of abuse to save them. Loved him and his little anonymous altruistic says. Samantha was adorable. Rich life and never wanting for anything. What she did in stepping away after finding out she was being used as a bartering chip in marriage was hard. Loved her going for what she wanted. Their chemistry was off the charts and loved his dirty kinky mouth and dominant ways. Can’t wait for mason.
I love this book so much it was amazing!! It made me so happy, laugh and cry
Seemed like it would be cliche, but it wasn’t! Just the right balance of, well, all of it.
Ohhh, this was unexpected. Quick read and to the point! I just might add the other audios to my tbr especially with Mason and Levi’s stories up next subsequently. Sounds like an interesting bunch!
Sophie Eastlake did a great job narrating.

I confess I watched the movie on Passionflix before searching out this book. A fun and sexy romp with a happy ending, what more could you want?
I love the whole Dirty series
Clay’s and Samatha’s backstory are total opposites, like good and bad, but there was something major lacking in both their lives: their love for each other.
I feel inspired by Clay and Samatha, for what they have been through but also for who they become. Their environment didn’t define them, only gave them strength to be incredible people with great values, just lacking love that, in the end, fueled some changes to make them fully happy.
I loved this book and look forward to read more from Carly Phillips and Erica Wilde.
Swoon! I loved Clay Kincaid. His nickname, Saint, is perfect for this man who, in spite of his gruff exterior and a rough past, makes it his reluctant mission to help those who need it. From the cat with one eye to the woman who gets completely trashed in his bar, he’s a hero, plain and simple. Lovely story.
What a fantastic story from these two authors! I could not put this book down. These characters were just great!
Samantha Jamieson comes from a family of wealth and is an only child. She has been raised to be the perfect daughter and perfect little wife…think Stepford wife. When she overhears her father talking to her boyfriend that once he marries Samantha, he will make him the CEO of the company, Samantha throws a fit. She was thinking of breaking up with Harrison, not every marrying him! When her father threatens to take away everything from her but the clothes on her back, Samantha doesn’t care. She just wants out!
After ditching her car and cell phone so her dad can’t track her, she calls a cab and tells the cab driver to take her to her favorite bar in Chicago. Soon they arrive at Kincaid’s.
Samantha is having a great time ordering every drink on the menu with the dirtiest names and has gotten herself very drunk. She ends up being the last person in the bar and the bar’s owner, Clay Kincaid wants to just put her in cab and send her home. She looks way to wealthy for his lifestyle. Soon Clay realizes that this woman has no money and no place to go so Saint Clay kicks in. The banter and flirting between these two was awesome! I loved the nickname Cupcake! Perfect! Clay decides to bring her to his apartment up above the bar. This scene was so funny! Let’s just say Saint Clay is “trying” to be a saint and Samantha is trying everything in her power to make him the devil! 😉
Clay decides to give Samantha a chance and let’s her work at the bar. He figures she won’t last more than one night. Well she proves him wrong and the walls around his heart are starting to get some cracks in them.
The chemistry between these two was off the charts! I loved how two people with such different backgrounds fit together so well. I loved how he just seemed to know what Samantha needed. Quickly these two fell deeply in love with the other, without even knowing it.
Clay’s backstory was a great twist. I just adored both of his brothers. I so can’t wait to read Mason’s story. Sounds like the perfect bad boy!
The final standoff at the end was perfect. As usual, I laughed out loud, swooned and cried during this story. Overall a great book and I look forward to the others in the series!
Great tragic story. Loved the characters.
Enjoyed meeting Clay and his brothers. Liked this book so much, I bought the rest of the series and enjoyed them as well. The characters are well developed and the dialogue is good. Definitely pick this one up!
Combine the steam and the unexpected twists and turns and you have a quick, great read!
