Only one word can describe Sebastian “Bash” Fury… is a liability who could ruin my career.
Even worse, he’ll destroy my willpower.
I should despise that cocky bastard.
But something about his swagger and quick smile make him irresistibly charming.
Despite my best efforts, things are heating up and the ice around my heart is starting to melt…
All because of this dirty player.

Bash and Greer!! Their story is one that will bring you to tears and fill you with hope! They are total opposites but both trying to prove their worth! When their tension rises to something more both face losing everything and have to decide what in life are they willing to sacrifice!
I loved how Greer is a total bad a$$! She’s a woman trying to make a place in a mans world and she’s not backing down from anything, especially the broody bad boy of hockey! Bash was a total surprise! He’s a mans man, tough and volatile, but that’s not who he is deep down! There’s more to him and when he allows Greer a Glimpse into who he is she realizes that the bad boy isn’t so bad after all! Now to just keep her heart intact and feelings at bay!
Gwyn packs this story with amazing heat, funny banter, and amazing surprises that will have you wanting this story to never end! I can’t wait to see what she has planned next in this world because I defiantly want more!
Loved Bash and Greers intense amazing beautiful heartstopping love story
alll the feels
ready for more
Sweet and funny with some great dirty bits.
Dirty Player is a fun, easy, entertaining read. With some easy going and swoony romance it’s a great way to spend a day, and with a high steam factor, a sure pick-me-up for those cold winter nights.
4 stars and a stick
Seems like Greer I also have a type … arrogant jerk with a side of HAWT. Greer has patience in abundance cause I wanted to reach through the book to slap him.. then kiss him lol. Bash definitely has a way of making you want to say yes when you should definitely be yelling No.
Only one word can describe Sebastian “Bash” Fury…
DIRTY.
He’s dirty hot.
A dirty talker.
And a dirty player.
On the ice, he truly earns his nickname.
I did like this book although in the middle it seemed to drag a little put picked up again thankfully, the sexual chemistry between the characters was hot, I just didn’t feel any other type of chemistry from them but I did like the push and pull between them. The only thing I didn’t like was when he took his date to a private pole dancer, just seemed a little out of place for some reason. All over it was a good read.
Bash is a bad boy both on the ice and out of it and he likes it that way.
Greer is a woman in a man’s world working to earn the same respect that is freely given to men.
Watching these two collide was both hot and aggravating. I cheered on Greer from the first moment I met her and I was so upset the first few interactions with Bash. It was like someone was going after my friend.
Reading about these two giving into their chemistry and trying to hide their relationship was both nerve-wracking and also fun.
I really enjoyed this book
I am a sucker for a good sports romance, and Gwyn did not let me down here!
Greer is a female professional hockey head coach, and has her work cut out for her – enter Bash, the hottest thing on ice!! If this story was reality, the ice would have melted.
These two are funny, sexy, sweet, and a total blast to read about! Balancing careers that depend on each other with new love is a challenge, and you will be rooting for them all the way!
“You’re out of control, and out of control is dangerous in this game.”
Who doesn’t love a sexy hockey player~ who meets his match to a strong willed woman ~ paving the way for women in power.
“I have no idea what just happened between us, but I like it far more than I should.”
This book has so many layers…sexy hockey player, huge egos, coach proving herself, family heartache, buried emotions, dreams, forgiveness, passion, regret…
“Something about that look in her eyes… the disappointment there… it’s just eating away at me from the inside.”
Looking forward to more Fury Family by Gwyn in Filthy Friend and Shameless Chef, two more Cocky Hero Club novels set in the worlds of Cocky Bastard and Stuck-up Suit!
I absolutely love Bash Fury! He’s my type of guy, dirty, cocky, loving, and alpha. The way he and Greer clash from the second the meet is hot and comical at times. Greer has made history as a coach in the NHL. The question is can these two work to get her and get their team to the playoffs? Gwyn has written a great book and I highly recommend you read it.
I’m still relatively new to Gwyn McNamee, but I really enjoyed this story. A sports romance, and I liked the slight twist on the characters, as Bash is a hockey player and Greer is a coach; I can’t think of another book I’ve read where female lead is a coach. Loved the chemistry between them, the story moves at a good pace, it’s descriptive enough to be able to visualize without going overboard on inane details.
I Love Bash Fury!!!
Sebastian “Bash” Fury is the perfect name for this cocky, quick-tempered wildcard of the NHL…His book description says “He’s dirty hot. A dirty talker. And a dirty player….” Perfect assessment of Bash…Due to his past volatility on the ice, he’s just been traded to the new expansion team in Las Vegas, and he’s angry and hurt by his team trading him…Bash’s first order of business is to establish his dominance over his new, and obviously inferior, teammates and his hot, new, little coach…”Maybe the wink and the crotch grab were a bit much…” Ya think??…..What could possibly go wrong??
Greer Waterson is a medalist for the former USA Olympic women’s hockey team and the first and only female coach in the NHL…Greer is so close to taking the new Las Vegas expansion team to a championship, she can smell it, and she’s finally getting the respect she deserves…..And then, her GM tells her THE Bash Fury is not just on her team, but he will be on her starting lineup….Greer resents Bash, because she had no veto power in his hiring….Greer resents Bash for the havoc she knows he’s going to wreak on her team and on her….Greer resents Bash, because dating a player is career suicide, and she can’t stop thinking about him….And then Bash kisses Greer….Yeah…That’s what could go wrong…
Although I have several of her books on my kindle, I’m embarrassed to say, DIRTY PLAYER was the first book I have read by Gwyn McNamee…but it without a freaking doubt won’t be my last…She has written one of the sexiest, alpha dog, bad boys in hockey player, Bash Fury…..And Greer has more layers to peel back than an onion…She’s smart and confident and excited, while at the same time worried and vulnerable…These are good characters with good chemistry, a good story, a good ending…it’s a good book…I liked it….

DIRTY.

On the ice, he truly earns his nickname.
He bashes opponents without regard for the rules or safety.
Which is precisely why I can’t have him on my team.
As the first female head coach in the NHL, all eyes are on me, waiting for me to fail.
A man like Bash Fury is a liability who could ruin my career.

I love, love, love hockey romances. This is a new to me author and I can’t believe it took me this long to discover, I will be checking out more by Gwyn McNamee for sure. A fabulous read with a H made me crazy in the best way possible.
A forbidden romance in the workplace, set on, off and around the ice, yes Dirty Player gives us Bash Fury the sexy, bad boy hockey player and Greer the smart, sexy, hockey olympian, turned Head Coach, the first and only female in the league. The pair are in for the shock of their lives when the chemistry between them combusts, emotions are high, the sex is hot and the risks they take are huge, however there’s no stopping them.
Join Bash and Greer as they work their way towards a happily ever after in this five star read that will have you on the edge of your seat as their story unfolds.

A fun, entertaining, and sweet story. Gwyn McNamee is a new to me author, I was not disappointed. I enjoyed the endearing and beautiful journey Greer and Sebastian embarked on.
4 stars
Dirty Player is my first book by author Gwyn McNamee and is her contribution to the Cocky Hero collection. All books in the collection can be read as standalones.
Bash Fury is a hockey phenom and is quite aptly named as he’s an uncontrolled fury on the ice. He’s racked up plenty of dirty hits and more time warming the penalty box than any other player out there. After multiple suspensions, he’s being traded to an expansion team with…a female head coach! She might be a badass Olympic hockey star in her own right but no one is going to change his game, not even the super hot Greer Waterson.
Greer Waterson loves the game of hockey. She’s been in love with the game forever having even earned medals in the Olympics. She’s the first female coach in the NHL and she’s got a lot to prove, especially to the bad boy of hockey she just acquired through a trade. Bash is trouble with a capital T and unfortunately not just to her team. He’s a force on the ice, a guy with a massive ego and chip on his shoulder and hell on her libido. Despite making her livid with his narcissism and arrogance, he also sets the normally reserved coach on fire. But getting involved with a player is career suicide, especially for the only female coach in the league. Will she risk it all for a chance at love or will the chance at hockey’s biggest honor will out?
I love hockey romances because it’s my favorite game but also because the guys are fire and ice! At first I seriously disliked Bash, not just for his recklessness on the ice but for the way he treated Greer but over time I came to enjoy him more. I never fully fell in love until after 3 chapters from the end though. I really enjoyed Greer and the side characters but I gotta say I can’t see a woman giving in that easily with all that Greer had on the line. While she did wrestle with the decision afterwards, I just felt it came a little too easily in the beginning. Other than that I really enjoyed the book and it’s another solid entry in the Cocky Hero club!

Greer & Sebastian’s story is absolute perfection!! I found it impossible to put down once I started. I love a good hockey romance and Dirty Player was everything I could have wanted. A fun, sexy story.
I was glued to my kindle from the very beginning with the great character and storyline development! The chemistry between Bash and Greer was so HOT that I couldn’t stop turning the pages until the very end!
Gwyn McNamee is another new to me author and hockey is my absolute favourite sport so I was a little leery about reading this book. Bash and Greer’s chemistry is off the chart and this book was well written so I found it very enjoyable. I look forward to seeing what other books this author has written. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book for an honest review.
When you mix this authors fantastic writing abilities, a snarky hockey player, a fun a sassy leading lady and well, heat and passion you get this amazing story. I really enjoyed the way these characters meet and develop their romance. It was fun to follow along and watch the dynamics of these people falter and heat up. The fact that this was a hockey story only added to both the heat and the humor as hockey players are some of the best to read about; Bash’s narcissistic personality really added to the story. OH!! and the dirty talking??!! Yes please I want a man that speaks this language, LOL. This is a great read for any sports romance lover and it was a pleasure to spend time with. I received an ARC and am leaving an honest review.
