Dirty Little Secrets is the perfect small town mystery, and a fun book in a terrific series! Totally enjoy these JJ Graves mysteries by Liliana Hart ! They have everything I love: a twisty mystery that moves along quickly, colorful characters in a relatable setting, a sympathetic, unique, badass heroine, and a nice sprinkle of romantic sizzle to …
A nice mix of medical and police drama with some romance thrown in. An enjoyable start to the JJ Graves series.
I am adding this to my favorite author list. This has murders, suspense, romance and humor and I listened to this as an audio book and was rushing to get things done so I could go back to listening to the book.

Dirty Little Secrets was an enjoyable, unpredictable mystery thriller. The relationship between Jaye and Jack is priceless, and we’d all love to have best friends like they have in each other. Jaye’s sense of humor is refreshing. I didn’t have the bad guy figured out until it was revealed, and I gasped! Quick, easy, and keep you on your toes …
This well-crafted murder mystery is filled with thrills and tension. It’s fast-paced and riveting with ongoing suspense that never ends.
This book kept me on the edge of my seat, couldn’t put it down! Loved the characters. A lot of twists and turns. Every time I thought I knew who the murderer was,I was wrong. Very surprised by who it was. Loved it!
Very enjoyable read
Delightfully real, witty, sarcastic, smart, down to earth main characters who are true best friends. Together, as coroner and sheriff they work to solve the murders committed in their small town by a serial killer. The mystery kept me guessing! My only complaint about this thoroughly enjoyable read was the abrupt ending.
I sooooo did not see the end coming.
I had a hard time putting this book down. It was an interesting story and well written.
Weird and not very realistic.
Very repetitive. I ended up skimming the book to the end to see if there was a plot twist.
A young doctor inherits her parents’ family mortuary and takes the job of coroner in a small town. This is a page-turner that was hard to put down.
I flipped back and forth between the audiobook and the eBook.
The good:
Narration was pretty good. Not the best I’ve heard, but she made me believe I was listening to the characters speak, not her, so kudos to her.
Also, the characters were interesting.
The bad:
Writing was pretty bad. Every time I switched to the eBook version I found …
Boring! Right from the start you knew how it was going to end. Not very good character or plot development.
Just a good bedtime read about crime solving.
Writing is not exceptional. When a page turn came in mid-sentence, I could always finish the sentence before turning the page. Didn’t require much effort from me, but maybe that was good in these difficult time. Escapist. No desire to read another by this author, though, or to recommend. There are better stories out there.
Keep them coming Liliana. I love the characters in this series.
I will never again think of “multi-tasking” the same!
I look forward to future books in this series.
