Detective Bri Andrews is working to build a case against the notorious Drago Acerbi, but soon realizes she may be falling for the very man she’s supposed to be investigating . . . Can she trust him—or is their magnetic attraction blinding her to the truth? A tantalizing page-turner! This complete trilogy includes Dirty Blue, Dirty War, and Dirty Sin.
I greatly enjoyed the Dirty Justice books. I read each one of them individually as they were released.
Here are my reviews:
Dirty Blue (5)
I finished reading Dirty Blue and immediately wanted more. It’s the perfect combination of suspense, action, mystery and romance. The story was well written and moved at a good steady pace. I loved Drago and Bri. I’m glad I decided to give Mrs. Henderson’s book a try.
Drago is a man born into a family known for violent crimes and drug dealings. He is the Eldest son of Vincent Acerbi, a man who’s name is known throughout the country inciting fear in the hearts of some and arousing anger in others.
When his father returned to Italy he left Drago in charge of their operations in America.
Now with his father out of the country a target has been placed upon Drago and it looks as though the police will stop at nothing to take him down. The problem is that things are not always what they seem and sometimes the apple just might fall far from the tree.
Brianna is a detective who finds herself in a sticky situation. She was suppose to just take a statement from a woman and ends up leaving with more than she asked for…a baby to be exact.
Now she’ll have to protect this child and follow her leads to find evidence to bring down the monster(s) who threatens this child’s life.
A case that started one way is quickly evolving into something completely different and Brianna is finding things are not adding up.
When lines are blurred and it’s hard tell who to trust the only thing you can do is follow your gut instincts and hope you come out on top.
Dirty War (5)
Dirty War was a story full of emotion. Right from the start it grabbed hold of me and took my heart for a ride. I guessed the opening surprise but only because it’s easy for me to put myself in Bri’s place. It wasn’t hard for me to imagine what could be one of the most horrible scenarios to happen on top of what already transpired. My heart broke for her.
This segment of Bri and Drago’s story was full of twist, turns and unexpected surprises.
It was definitely a story about forgiveness, healing and justice.
Dirty Sin (5)
I loved Dirty Sin. It was action packed and suspenseful with a few surprising twists. The final segment of Bri and Drago’s story captivated me and had me feeling a spectrum of emotions. My heart broke for Drago as I learned more about the pain inflicted on him by his father. I was outraged by what happened to Bri. I could totally put myself in her shoes and understand what she was going through. The ending of the book had me shedding a few tears of happiness for the couple and left a smile on my face.
I can’t wait for Alana and Jackson’s story.
Briana Andrews is a detective that gets pulled into a case that has more going on than what they are told. Great story that hooks the reader from the first page till the very end with loads of suspense, secrets and action. Loved it!
Definitely a good book for someone like me to read and be entertained.
Enjoyed the tension and romance of Drago and Bri.
Very steamy.
Good characters.
It was ok. I did read it all. It just seemed like the plot needed work. It wasn’t quite believable.
Three incredible books in one whats not to love.
I was completely hooked on this from the first chapter, i could not put it down.
Bri is one hell of a women, her love and protection over Gabe is endearing and heartfelt. Drago is so many amazing things i fell hard for him, honestly didn’t know if he was bad or good at the start but i didnt care i was smitten and by the end oh boy he is truly the man for Bri, Their chemistry is off the charts.
An incredible trilogy that is gripping and had me in suspense, full of action, twists and turns.
N.E Henderson is an amazing writter and this is a must read.
