This was overall a good read , great story of second chance romance. I loved the chemistry between Shep and Jasmine , there were some steamy scenes and I could definitely feel the chemistry and emotions through the characters , Jasmine was sweet and loyal loving kind and Shep was a brooding commanding sexy alpha angry all the time , so these two together couldn’t be more different with nothing in common, I could definitely feel the vibe from Beauty And The Beast in this story . Plenty of angst and drama and very steamy romance! Loved it !

Dirty Husband
Dirty Rich, Book 3
By: Crystal Kaswell
Narrated by: Lance Greenfield, Grace Grant
Do you ever get over your first love? Shep is in need of a wife, and it has to be his ex, Jasmine. Jasmine is in need of money to help with her father’s medical expenses. These two enter a pact that can only lead to one thing. A second chance. But this is not your typical second chance romance. Crystal Kaswell has woven a delicious tale of love, incredible passion and redemption. Jasmine is such a force, very devoted to her father, but she her heart knows what it wants. Can she align her brain with her heart? And will it be in her best interest? You can’t help but love Shep. The ultimate bad boy with issues that make you want to help him. But can he be helped? Will this second chance be wasted? It’s a great listen.
Lance Greenfield and Grace Grant are amazing narrators, and they bring this story to life. I don’t think there could be a better fit for Shep. Greenfield has that bad boy growl, sex appeal and just nails his personality. Grant always finds her target and Jasmine has definite strength to her, but a melting that Grant eases into. They are fantastic together.

Second chance romance at its dirtiest. Shep has a past he’s trying to escape and free himself from and needs a wife to help him accomplish that. He propositions his ex Jasmine to get engaged to him, marry him, and stay with him for a year. In return she will get enough money that she won’t have to worry about it for a long time. Jasmine needs the money but is afraid of falling for Shep.
Shepard is more than a dirty husband; this book is more than just a second chance at love, this is a second chance at life. This is a steamy romance. You won’t be disappointed.

A second chance to steep their love
—>>> Alone, struggling to care for her father with a very poor diagnosis on a too-slim assistant’s salary, a man from Jasmine Lee’s past comes back with an offer which gives her everything on a silver platter…her at his beck and call as his wife 24/7 for one million dollars. But Jasmine has no choice, she has to swallow her pride to save her last parent, no matter how slim the chance, if only to buy more time to spend with him. Six years has been a long time since they parted ways, and Shepard Marlowe is even more devastating than he was when they were teenagers. He is frank when he states he cannot give her love at the end of this arrangement, but there is at least one consoling thought:
“Good girl,” I say. Her pupils dilate. She likes the term. A lot. I’m going to have fun with her. Too much even. The rest of this might be a mess. I might not know who the twenty-four-year-old Jasmine Lee is. I may not know her head or her heart. But I know her body. I know how to give her exactly what she craves.
But this fierce girl is not going to fall for him again, because saving her father was her primary goal:
This time, I’m not getting the wrong idea. He can have my body. And I can have his. But that’s all it is. Love isn’t part of the equation.
The heat in this story builds to red-hot levels as they both reach for each other, each struggling to deny what they feel emotionally, complicated by threads of the past deliberately left tied.
I received an ARC from the author and am leaving an honest and unbiased review .
I’m not really a fan of the whole submissive , dominant trope so it says a lot about Crystal kaswell writing for me to get into the storyline and enjoy the book as much as I did. Shep was an interesting character and Jasmine was so likeable. Together, their chemistry sizzled and you felt their connection deepen as the story unfolds. It dealt with some dark topics in a touching way without being fluffy . I really enjoyed the epilogue , it tied up the loose edges . I’d definitely read Ian book when that comes out
Shep is in pain and an addict who was told all his life that he would amount to nothing. Jasmine was his high school sweetheart who s alcoholism broke their relationship. Years later they need each other but it won t be easy for either one of them. Their journey is full of obstacles but the end result is worth it. Crystal brought this broken man to life and his imperfections is what pulls you into the story.

Shepherd needs Jasmine to be his wife or he loses everything and he’s willing to pay her.
Jasmine would do almost anything to pay for her dad’s treatment. Almost. But it’s only a year, right? She can do this.
But can they keep it professional?
Come along for the ride and see what happens. And catch up with a few of your other “Dirty” favorites along the way.
A compelling second chance romance. It is a well written, engaging, well developed, and exciting read that is drama-filled, witty, funny, steamy, and satisfying. The characters are likeable with off the charts chemistry between them. This book takes you on a wild ride that you will enjoy from beginning to end. Definitely recommended!

This is a second chance romance for Shepard and Jasmine. Their first relationship in high school didn’t end well. I liked how strong and brave Jasmine is trying to care for her father. Shepard has been through a lot of pain and Jasmine is good for him. This book had a good amount going on and I enjoyed their chemistry together.

Jasmine and Shepard were high school sweethearts who broke up when Jasmine gave Shepard the ultimatum of choosing her or alcohol. Shepard is a tech mogul who needs a wife, not just any wife, and is willing to pay one million dollars to get Jasmine. Shepard struggles with his demons that have him convinced he isn’t worthy of being loved. Shepard also struggles with his sobriety daily after his brother, Nick, forced him into rehab. Jasmine is struggling to get by and will do anything to get the money she needs to pay for her father’s medical treatments. The chemistry between Jasmine and Shepard is so HOT! Will Jasmine realize she never stopped loving Shepard? Will Jasmine fight for Shepard and their future happiness? Will Shepard try to break their agreement and push Jasmine away again? Will Shepard realize that Jasmine is the only person who can help him heal and push past his pain? I LOVED Dirty Husband by Crystal Kaswell! Crystal Kaswell is a MUST read author for this reader. Dirty Husband is a fantastic book with great characters. Dirty Husband has amazing chemistry, filthy and dirty talk, past trauma, addiction, and a happily ever after. I would highly recommend getting Dirty Husband or any other book by Crystal Kaswell. I received a free ARC of this book, and I am leaving my honest review.
First love, broken hearts, broken promises and secrets.
They were base for beautiful marriage. The journey to get there was ugly and heartbreaking.
Love the storyline with great characters, and this includes supporting characters, too.
I got a lot of chuckles, her Vietnamese aunties were so funny.

Shepherd, the wealthy businessman who’s harbouring a secret he thinks would have people looking at him differently.
His step-father Lucien users this secret to make Shepherd do whatever he wants. Which includes making a deal for Shepherd to marry his high school sweetheart – who went there separate ways when Shepherds drinking became too much – in order to keep the secrets of the past buried.
Jasmines father is ill and the doctors recommend some experimental treatment that will cost way more than she has even if she sold everything she owns.
So she takes Shepherd up on his offer, ten million for one year of marriage and money up front to pay for her fathers medical expenses.
They play the happy couple to convince all involved and when Jasmine starts to fall for Shepherd again, he shuts her down to protect himself.
Jasmine wants to know the truth about whatever Shepherd is hiding but he suddenly calls the whole deal off and writes her a cheque and sends her on her way.
But Jasmines in way too deep and is not just going to give up without a fight.
Little bit of bdsm action and an addiction, nothing too crazy to offend people.
A few steam worthy moments to get you panting.
A well-written second chance romance with off the charts chemistry and a couple of sex starved aunts that brought a smile to my face.

Jasmine and Shephard where high school sweethearts, but after Shephard turned to alcohol, Jasmine decides that she can’t stay with him. Fast forward a few years and Shephard needs to show his stepfather that he can love someone and they in turn can love him back, or he will lose everything he has worked for. Jasmine agrees, in exchange for payment of all medical expenses for her father and enough money to set her up for life after one year of marriage. But Shephard will do anything to make sure Jasmine never finds out why he needs this marriage so badly.
This is not my favorite Crystal Kaswell book – I struggled to connect with the characters and really didn’t feel that they had any real chemistry together. Yes the Dom scenes were sizzling, but Shephard and Jasmine just didn’t gel for me. I found the writing to be disjointed and sometimes I struggled to keep up with the storyline.
I enjoyed Shep and Jasmine’s story. Their second chance, the renewal of a long past connection. Shep is a bit cold, a bit moody, he’s suffering and hasn’t been dealing well with that. Jasmine’s strong, handling life and caring for her father. You can feel the spark and I liked the ride that they shared. Their story is spicy with moments of emotion. I’m looking forward to more from this series.
Dirty Husband by Crystal Kaswell is one of the best books this author has written and possibly one of the best books I have read. The story is comparable to FSOG in overall story but has yet to be seen if the characters will have another book. Dirty Husband is the third book in the Dirty series. This is Shepard and Jasmine’s story. Once high school sweethearts, Shepard is reaching out after six years of no contact to offer Jasmine a deal she can not turn down but are the two capable of not letting there hearts be involved. I hope that these two get their own series or that their story is continues as this book is not the end of their story or at least I hope.

This story is told from 2 POV’s and is a stand-alone story with no cliffhanger. Jasmine and Shep have a history that they thought was left in the past. Shep must get Jasmine to marry him in order to retain control of his company.
I love the story telling in all of Crystal Kaswell’s books and this is no exception. The story progressed with a solid connection to both characters and although I love their story I did feel that there needed to be more resolution with the issues between Shep and his stepfather because it did leave the reader with little resolution for such a terrible situation.
I received an ARC for an honest review.
I adore Jasmine and Shep. Their story has everything I want in a second chance romance. There is a real sense of who they were and the transformation they find in and through each other. The holy, moly yes, please steam doesn’t hurt either.
Crystal Kaswell continues to evolve in her writing, and this book showcases that. It is clear, concise, and everything I wanted. This is one of my favorite series. I highly recommend this and the previous books.
Great characters, a well written story line are just some of the things that make this a wonderful book to read. And we can’t forget the chemistry between the characters that’s definitely sizzling. High school sweethearts getting a second chance romance at its best.
