They were the boys any good girl knew to avoid.Rich and privileged. Gorgeous and cruel. The poster boys for rebellion…their tongues so sharp they cut to the bone.We worshipped them despite their dangerous games. We laughed even as we cried. It was all fun and games until the first dirty girl died. Now, as the bodies pile up, I believe I can endure their wicked ways. Only time will tell if I’ll escape. wicked ways. Only time will tell if I’ll escape.
Because when wealthy boys are accustomed to getting everything they want, not even the lives of those around them are too high an asking price.

OMG! I forgot how amazing a Lily White mindfuck can be! I absolutely loved this book! I know it’s one of the first books I’ve read this year, but I’m going to go ahead and say now, it’s going to be one of the best books I’ll read this year! I’ve missed her dark, twisted stories!
I wasn’t sure about Soren right away, didn’t know what to think about him, but I loved Jonah from the start! He’s my man! And I really liked Olive too! She was a strong chick, who stood up for herself and wasn’t swayed by all the stupidness around her!
Definitely go into the book blind, don’t read any spoilers! The twist at the end was amazing! 5+ stars!!
4.5 stars!
Lily is back… and with a vengeance!!
There’s young adult bully suspense, and then there’s Lily’s unique interpretation!
What a ride!
Prepare your self for a unique, intense and suspenseful mind frakery game!
These characters were awful people and I would hate to live near any of them!
They flawlessly came to life and took over my senses as I got caught up in this journey of undeserved privilege, and the sinister extremes they’d go to in order fit in with the “in” crowd.
Thought provoking, and insightful, the author meticulously sets the stage to make everyone a suspect as the cause of certain activities going on in this over privileged community.
I went in blindly and it made enjoying this book even better.
Everyone had skeletons, everyone became suspect well… except Olly. She was one hell of a heroine and I really enjoyed her character!
Just when I thought the story was going in one direction…I got clubbed in the head… BAM and went completely into another one!
Wow… I never suspected THAT!
My only reason for not giving this story 5 is because the ending felt rushed. After the thoughtful care in developing such a juicy story and creating such sinister characters, I felt the ending needing more development.
But this is one book that held me captive from beginning to end and it’s a must read!
Can’t wait to see what’s next!!
Dirty Girls..not the story I thought it would be. So, so much more! White knows how to take you on a what looks like a obvious path, but she has her deceiving and seducing ways, to allure you to take one turn wrong and get lost. And when you finally notice, it’s too late and you can’t put down the book!
“Maybe let’s you believe his intentions might not be as horrible as you know they are. Maybe massages your shoulders while you let down your guard. Maybe is an innocent whisper or gentle breeze. It’s a comfort that warms the heart while you’re being shoved to your knees.”
Talk about twists and turn…I did my damndest to keep up, and trying to solve the mystery before the end of the book. I’m happy to report that I did! I even fist punched the air when I read I was right, lol!! *facepalms*
“The moon and stars couldn’t quite compare. The sun wasn’t bright enough to hold a candle to her. There was nothing in the heavens that was more beautiful than a girl who gave the finger to the world and marched to the beat of her own drum.”
I didn’t like how small and timid Olive was acting in the beginning of the story, so I really enjoyed reading how Olive got stronger throughout the story. That she dared to square her shoulders and show her backbone.

Olive Reid is a high school senior in a small town filled with wealthy spoiled teens. As one to go against the popular crowd, Olive refused to pledge and be a part of the “cool” kids. But Olive was always attracted to Soren Callahan, the ringleader of the social strata. In the wake of an unsolved murder, Soren is returning to town and most are ready to move on until the FBI arrives.
“You might as well get used to the fact that you’ve been claimed, Little Olly. There’s not a single motherfucker out there who will get in my way when it comes to you.”
Interestingly, the narrative unfolds with multiple perspectives which creates suspense throughout the story. As the investigation continues, Olive tries to maintain her normal routine despite the building clues. While I had my suspicions as to who the killer was, I enjoyed the reveal as it all tied into the ongoing plot and characters.
“Is this what bullies did when they had blown past the usual boring pranks and careened head first into true torture?”
What I liked about Olive is that she didn’t take family or friends for granted, nor did she fall in line with others. As for Soren and the secondary characters they incited a range of emotions based on their choices. I was also intrigued by Jonah and his brother; however, Jonah’s role fell a little flatter than I had hoped. That said, he added a good dynamic to the overall landscape.
With a plot full of many characters and a carefully constructed world of self-interest and coercion, Dirty Girls is a romance suspense that will leave you wondering who is the killer is until the very end.
Easiest five stars I’ve given in a while! This book was amazing! Dark, suspenseful, gritty, and addicting. What more could you need? Lily done a fantastic job with this book. I love her twisted stories. This one was full of angst and tension. Lots and lots of suspense. Absolutely amazing! She nailed it!
Lily is back and how!! 2019 added some more twists into her already warped sense of humour. As it is she penned hard hitting, gut sickening stories earlier. Now add to that the mean boys, HS drama complete with mean girls posse, frat like secret societies for the rich brats and you’re sure to be reaching out for popcorn to enjoy the ruthless story.
“That’s the thing with posses: They only have the platform that we give them. Their pedestal teeters dangerously on the backs of every person that foolishly believes there’s something special about them.”
There’s every kind of ingredient in this boiling pot. There’s threats, pledges, parties, powders, booze and abuse of the worst kinds. Lily doesn’t just simply create egotistical HSchoolers, she makes them demi gawds who run the town, rule the pompous & entitled minions, make them do their deviant and devious bidding and then they sit back and have fun at their expense.
“There are abusers in this world. They play. They laugh. They tease. And they taunt. They’re hungry. Ravished. So empty they can never be filled. ”
But…..a girl turns up dead!
That’s when things take a serious turn.
There’s a thrumming live wire of danger running across the story. It sends out lethal energy in a contaminated zone. You can feel the violence in the background. It’s not masked well by the boisterous parties happening non stop in the forefront. There’s always more than what meets the eye at every point in the story.!
You know it’s coming….the killer is right there, Hiding in plain sight. It has an agenda, to rid the town of all the Dirty Girls
And who fits into that category……..Aaaaaaah, that’s a million dollar question
Mystery and intrigue builds in momentum, psychological mind games race towards the finish line and barbarity and atrocity threaten to break record. Its a nail biting story, will surely make you cringe and gasp, but remember it’s happening all around us in real time too.
“Social circles are bs. The need to conform is weak. The desire to be accepted to a point where you’ll do what everyone tells you is pathetic. ”
Truth is generally stranger than fiction, which makes lily not only an author but a recounter of social and moral crimes. She’s spotlighting what is wrong in the younger generation world nowadays. The peer pressure, the need to be cool and be accepted in the hip crowd. The one upmanship and the stupidity of throwing a challenge and even foolhardy to accept it, lest you be jeered at. Fragile reputations built of nefarious activities and their 15 seconds of fame lead these blooming idiots into the rabbit hole.
“If I take your money, your friends, your looks, your possessions, your high power career, your clothes and your lies…what’s left for you to call yourself?
Nothing.
You’re stripped.
Vulnerable.
And there’s nobody left to hold you up.
How high is your pedestal now?”
I was more scared of the fact that all this is very present and clear danger Right Now, Right Around . It’s not a mythical tale of what could happen, what shall happen. No! IT’S ALREADY HAPPENING
That the scariest part of it all!!
This eye opening story should be MUST READ for all
Thrilling, scary and challenging, it shook me up awake and made me hyper aware of evil lurking all around me, gaining stature and strength through social media.
4.5 stars for Søren the Predator
Talk about an addictive book that will keep you guessing the whole way through. In true Lily style she had me captive from get go. There was no way I could put this book down. I needed to know what was going to happen next, I loved Soren!!! yeah I know that’s nothing new, I have a habit of loving Aholes!
Throughout this suspenseful read I thought that I’d guessed right, but let me tell you… there was noo way that you’d guess the ending.. nope.
I must let you know that I absolutely loved this book, Lily’s writing was flawless and I highly recommend this Psychological thriller.
This is one dark and twisted tale. The moral of this story will surely be passed down to future generations.
I’m not going to share anything about this story except to say that it will keep you on the edge of your seat. You’ll never see what’s coming. There are characters that you will love but more that you’ll hate and then there are those that you just aren’t too sure about.
As I said, it’s dark and twisted but it’s also raw and savage. It will have your heart racing, your blood pressure heightened to dangerous levels and the desire to wrap your hands around someone’s throat taking you by surprise…because you’re not that type of person…right?
If you like dark…this is it.
***4 Stars***
This was a fascinating, disturbing, intriguing and thought provoking read.
Which pretty much goes for most of what this author puts out into the world, but it needed to be said.
What else needs to be said is that I find myself in a weird spot because I really enjoyed the suspense/murder mystery side of the story, I had a hard time with the characters in this one. Not all, but a lot of them.
As for the murder mystery side of the coin, it was well crafted in every way and when the big reveal came, everything made sense ~ in a twisted and heart breaking sort of way.
As for the characters. Even though the majority of them had me growling and wanting to use a 2×4 to smack some sense into them ~ a couple I did want to gut with a spoon, especially one in particular but I shall not name that person since this is a non-spoilery review ~ I found them fascinating in how they justified the choices they made based on boredom, a false sense of superiority or simply a need to belong. These characters are all flawed, even the two I actually liked, and regardless of my reactions to them, they definitely made the observer of human nature in me all kinds of happy.
I know this review is all kinds of vague, but it had to be because everything is in the details and I did not want to inadvertently give anything away. Overall, I enjoyed this book ~ even with all the eye rolling and growling I did ~ the suspense was well done and I liked how it all played out. The “romance” side, as well as some of the interpersonal relationships, was done well, but there certain relationships I would have liked to have gone deeper with, one in particular I definitely needed more out of in the end, but I do understand why things worked out with them the way they did. There is one character I would love to spend more time with, but maybe it’s best to just leave things as they were in the book.
Note: This book is filled with triggers, FILLED.

Dirty Girls is an unputdownable book from author Lily White. It has so many twists and turns in it, that it is hard to keep up! The book focuses on Olive Reid, a young woman living with her brother in Winter Ridge, a place where the elite live. Sadly, Olive isn’t one of the elites and is trying to keep the roof over her head with the help of her brother after the death of her parents. But life for Olive isn’t easy in Winter Ridge and it seems that everyone has to go through a rite of passage to survive, coming up against her brother and his band of brothers… but especially that of Soren, the worst one of all!
This story was unreal. Not only do we have Olive’s relationship with Soren, but also the rest of the men who are living at her house. We also have the drama of girls turning up dead in horrific ways and an FBI agent who seems to be following her around not only to find the killer but also lusting after Olive. There are some really graphic scenes in this book and you’re trying to figure out if characters are good or bad throughout the whole thing, wondering how Olive is going to survive the plans that Soren has for her whilst trying to balance her life. There are some really strong scenes between Olive and her brother which are quite heart-breaking and brutal as well as scenes of pledging which border on cruel and unusual. The death of the girls really does bring the story-line together and the plot twist was unreal (no spoilers). This book is told from multiple points of view which also let you get into the characters minds a little bit more and for most of the book you’re rallying Olive to just keep going and for her to stay strong.
There is certainly a lot of game-playing in this book and you can’t quite figure out what’s going to happen. Scenes between Soren and Olive are steamy and overall, this book is a page-turner, full of suspense, intrigue, amazing characters and a twisted story-line. I will certainly be reading more form this author!
ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review

(3.5 stars) A murdered prom queen, an FBI agent, Jonah Vaughan, that wants to solve what truly happened and a town full of secrets. Teagan McKay, Soren Callahan, Tristian Nichols, Kendall Warner, Olive Reid, Nolan Reid and other lives all intertwine in this mystery of death and lies. What secrets are held within this quaint Winter Ridge town? What lies beneath the privilege and vanity that they hide behind? Will there be more death before Jonah can solve this one? I don’t want to say anything that could give anything away. This is the first book by this author I’ve read. Told mainly in Olive’s POV
From beginning to end this book had my heart racing and my blood pumping. A little bit high school bully romance, and these bullies pull no punches, and a suspenseful murder mystery that keeps you guessing until the killer is revealed. I was reading every spare second and didn’t want to put it down. These girls are dirty and these boys are wicked and heaven help those who fall into their orbit. This is an edge-of-your-seat, nail-biting roller coaster ride.
