When I met Donovan Kincaid, I knew he was rich. I didn’t know he was filthy. Truth be told, I was only trying to get his best friend to notice me.I knew poor scholarship girls like me didn’t stand a chance against guys like Weston King and Donovan Kincaid, but I was in love with his world, their world, of parties and sex and power. I knew what I wanted—I knew who I wanted—until one night, their … night, their world tried to bite me back and Donovan saved me. He saved me, and then Weston finally noticed me, and I finally learned what it was to be in their world.
And then what it was like to lose it.
Ten years later, I’ve found my way back. Back to their world. Back to him.
This time, I’m ready. I’ve been down this road before, and I know all the dirty, filthy ways Donovan will try and wreck me.
But it’s hard to resist. Especially when I know how much I’ll like it.
From NYT Bestselling author Laurelin Paige, discover a whole new world filled with sex, love, power, romance and dirty, filthy rich men.

I loved it
Whoa! Right off the bat, I have to tell you that Sabrina Lind is brave, tough and determined. I don’t know that I could put up with everything she did. Donovan Kincaid was a piece of work and had me frustrated from the very beginning. I could totally get his appeal and it seriously turned me on, but the mixed signals he threw out would have driven me crazy and I would have given up early on.
Sabrina proved she’s made of stronger stuff than I. She knew what she wanted and so did Donovan and he had no qualms of telling her how it was going to be.
I don’t want to give too much away because their story and the push and pull goes much deeper. But this was a TOTALLY hot, erotic and empowering read. Sabrina reached a point where she owned her desires and it showed so much growth from the Sabrina at the beginning of the story. This was really intense and I’m officially on pins and needles until I can get my hands on the rest of their story!!!
Dirty Filthy Rich Men is the first book of a 2 book duet. Donovan is a man who is haunted by his past, a man who is so taken with Sabrina that he cannot stay away, yet also pushes her away at every turn giving her mixed signals. When they are together it’s electric, but soon after, Donovan returns to his indifferent, cold-hearted self, or so it seems.
This man could make a woman crazy, but Sabrina sees past his surliness, his brooding, and his indifferent attitude. It’s all in his eyes and it’s something he can’t hide from her. It keeps Sabrina on a teeter totter, never knowing what to expect. Every time she thinks she has had enough, he reels her back in.
Donovan and Sabrina’s time together is complicated. It’s a push-pull relationship, and for every inch of progress Sabrina makes getting past his walls, she loses three or four. This is not an easy non-relationship, but it is something that Sabrina is willing to fight for and something Donovan fights against at every turn. Their attraction is so great, that neither one can seem to walk away for long. It’s like an addiction and they both need each other to feel whole and complete.
Laurelin Paige has written a story that was so addictive, I could not put it down. It’s a story of power, possession, obsession, and regret. It is dark at times, but then she pulls us back into the light and gives us hope, and love and makes us feel what the characters are going through. I wish I could give this book 10 Stars. I will definitely be purchasing book two of this Duet.
Didn’t quite know how I felt about Donavon ,he seemed to be a real piece of work. Sabrina was all over the place with her emotions. Together though they were explosive!! This book has me all over the place, which is truly great for a terrific story. Cant wait to see where the next book takes me! Laurelin Paige is always one of my one click buys, her books have the hotness and the amazing characters I always look for in a book!
I enjoy a good romance with a little or a lot of heat any day of the week. I require a story with great character, a good story line and intelligent writing. L. Blakely has delivered on all my enjoyments and requirements in every book of hers I have read.
I could not put this book down.
I just wanted to read more of Donovan and Sabrina. Their story intrigued me. You never really know what someone wants or needs, but Donovan is so tuned into Sabrina he knows what she needs before she does. Together they make a fantastic pair. A damaged, kinky and twisted pair but a pair none the less.
There is someone for everyone out there a soul who is made just for you. So perfect that you just fit and it feels right no matter what.
I was thankful that part 2 was already out when I finished part 1 I don’t think I could have waited.
This book is not for a sunshine and rainbows read. It’s not something you pick up for a leisurely read, one you can put down and pick up later. This is a dark, dirty, kinky and f’ed up A-f’ing-mazing read! One that will consume you until you finish every word.
I will read everything Laurelin Paige puts out thank goodness she has a few books out.
I have have read this book a couple of times. Donovan Kincaid is so unforgettable! I love the story. I tell if you like Hudson Dom the Fixed on you series you will like Donovan and Weston in Dirty Filthy Men! Laurelin this book is amazing!!
Donovan FUCKING Kincaid!! **fucking swoon**
Ya’ll … okay, so this story … these people … I don’t even know the word for this LOL It’s addictive for sure. It’s a #eyetwitch kind of story of the greatest proportions. You will not be able to stop reading, even thru all the back and forth whiplash. I have read some seriously good duets in the past but this book just surpasses all kinds of level of good. When I finished reading I was stunned stupid, just starring at my kindle blinking. I wanted to go back and read it again but I don’t think my anxiety would have withheld!
Dirty Filthy Rich Men starts has two parts to it: The first is where we meet Weston, Donovan and Sabrina in their college years during a life altering incident. It then picks up 10 years later …. They’re all grow up now, but that incident has left some scars … not a lot of story happens in this book, but it does set you up to know the story is coming … (that might make better sense if you read this lol) and THAT’S what keeps you glued to your kindle.
You’re gonna hate to love Donovan. There’s no question on that. But you will love him. You won’t be able to help yourself. #TRUST
OMG! You guys….I can’t. After Dirty Filthy Rich Boys, the pre-novella to Dirty Filthy Rich Men that is included in this book, my expectations were high. I’m talking really high. It was dark and raw and quite frankly a mind fuck. So needless to say, I was dying to get my hands on this book.
I’m not going to tell you a thing about it other than how it made me feel. You need to go in blind and experience it for yourself. It will push your boundaries in some places and make you swoon in others. My emotions were all over the place and I absolutely loved it.
Sabrina and Donovan are not back in each other lives 10 years after they last time they spoke to each other and you can tell that their chemistry is explosive. Donovan is just as dark and mysterious as when we first met him and the entire time I was dying to get to know the real him. He’s keeping Sabrina and arms length and he’s a complete asshole to her. Yet he’s also perfect for her. He’s exactly what she needs. She’ craves a bit of that darkness. What is it about assholes that just make me melt? Oh you want to be a dick? I love you now. Haha.
Just when we think we know how everything is going to turn out, BAM, Laurelin punches us in the face with a twist. At the end we are left with hope and the desire to throat punch the author. I mean that as the best possible compliment. So here I am, frustrated and dying to get my hands on Dirty Filthy Rich Love. Is it September yet?
This book will draw in if you don’t have a weak stomach or heart! You will feel emotions, but they will be worth it!! This isn’t a fairytale, but it definitely happens more and more often than not, minus the money of course. You will feel dirty, tingling down there lol, and never know which way is up for awhile. Enjoy, because I thoroughly did!!
Really liked this book however it’s not a standalone story so I’m left without an ending because I’m not buying anymore follow up books.
Love it! I couldn’t put it down. The characters were well developed. I have loved everything that I have read from Laurelin Paige.
After one review I read I was concerned that I was going to end up not liking it. I should have known better.
Yes, Donovan’s hot and cold got frustrating. Sabrina’s back and forth got annoying. But that is what makes it a story. Not everyone had an easy path to love…and we sure wouldn’t be buying books with such an easy story.
I think it was another fantastic example of the great writing and story telling Laurelin Paige has been giving us and I am eagerly awaiting September when I can get back to their story!!!
I love Donovan Kincade.. love the story, the way he is wired.. his obsession for sabrina, at the end for me is not an obsession is the way a real Dominant is.. always seeking the safety of what he considers his.. always protecting and anticipating what his submissive needs..
i love the story, is very different and also you never know what Donovan is thinking, you never know what is coming next.. you can assume he is doing something bad and then he corrects us by saying something i didn’t expected… but at all times you can see the struggle he is enduring to finally let him self go and love Sabrina.. he is afraid that he is going to drive her away with his control but he really doesn’t know that Sabrina is also like him.. he yearns that control and that kind of obsession he has.. she needs it even if at time she feels like she is afraid of that, then she always gets the same feelings and answers she needs.. she belongs to Donovan no matter how much they try to fight it …
in this first book, we can see the story of how Sabrina ends up working with the two men who drags her away from her dreams.. she was looking at the wrong direction until Donovan show up again in her life and make her doubt of everything she has ever wanted. because at the end he is what she ever wanted..
so in love with this story..
Frustrating female character. 80% of the book she couldn’t determine what she wanted and kept allowing herself to be seduced but not accepting her true nature.
This is the first book; Dirty Filthy Rich Love is the second. You must read this one first to understand the 2nd one. This one was sad in the way Sabrina lost her virginity. The ending really wasn’t an ending, but left you wondering just what was going on…and why…and leading you to Dirty Filthy Rich Love.
Part one:
Sabrina arrived in Cambridge with a full scholarship. Harvard was the school of her dreams and at seventeen she worked hard to maintain her grades. Then she met Weston and Donovan at The Keep. Both these guys became her addiction, obsession, and crush. They were hot, charming and wealthy.
The Keep is a four-story brownstone housing a group of wealthy guys. The house was famous for the parties they threw every weekend. Sabrina attended these weekend parties to watch Weston in action. She didn’t expect Donovan a guy who had been observing her.
Part two:
Ten years later Sabrina crosses paths with Donovan and Weston. She’s no longer the naive seventeen year old who was overwhelmed and stressed by her academics. Sabrina has faced her fears and accepted herself. As she faces Donovan and Weston, she wants to prove she belongs in the same world as the rich filthy men whom she envied at Harvard.
Sabrina is torn between two unattainable attractive men. She’s just a girl with dirty thoughts hoping to play out her dirties wildest fantasies. What she gets is a push n’ pull relationship with a man who is a grade A ahole. He enjoys toying with her emotions pulling anger and frustration from her. The torment is so sweet.
This book is loosely based on the concept of both a student/teacher and office romance with some distrust filthy fantasies.
It was refreshing to read about two characters who desired edgy dirty sex with filthy fantasies without the excuse of a dark damaged past.
Let me just reinforce the explicit sex scenes that drive this story are for mature audiences only. There is one concept that some need to be warned about as it’s a sensitive topic that might trigger some unwanted thoughts.
Laurelin wrote a compelling story about Donovan and Sabrina having a confusing and complicated relationship. Between the push n’ pull and the constant debate of his ahole ways I was convinced that the hate/love relationship could become more than sex. Especially when factoring in the unconventional need for dirty fantasies.
Although I was slightly disappointed at how easily and quickly Weston conceded to the new plan. I also was disappointed at how little storyline he held in part two. I was hoping for more of a love triangle battle.
I wasn’t aware this was a series of books relating to the main characters Donovan and Sabrina. I had hoped to resolve their unconventional relationship in one book. This book gave me enough to satisfy the craving for the type of relationship these main characters are striving for. To put me through another push n’ pull situation doesn’t appeal to me.
While the title suggests this is about dirty filthy rich men the wealth didn’t play a big factor as I expected. The men didn’t taunt or shove the wealth in your face. It mostly referenced in the lifestyle choices. Sabrina definitely wasn’t the type of character who chases these men because of their wealth. What she was after far exceeded the concept of being a gold digger. She was after the dirty filthy sex.
Donovan Kincaid! Holy moly what a delicious and dominant man. I was immediately intrigued by him when Sabrina first met him when she was seventeen and he rescued her from an assault. Ten years later he’s still broody and very intense. Know what he wants and that’s Sabrina. The games they play are sensual, dark and erotic. They both crave dark fantasies and together they get to enjoy those and they beyond combustible. Sabrina wants more from this sexual relationship but Donovan has his reason for not wanting to take things further. I enjoyed this sexy story mainly because of Donovan. He’s my kind of dark and flawed. My only issue was Sabrina. I wish she had more backbone since she caved too easily regarding Donovan. She said one thing and immediately just went weak when thinking of him. Donovan needed the fight and not just when they were intimate but also vocally. I’m still going to read the sequel cause Donovan has got his claws in me and I’m absolutely hooked.
4 D K Stars
The book overall seemed okay. it dragged for me and ended in a cliffhanger. The characters have a history and time passes that rekindle their passion for one another. But i think it has to be Sabrina character that made me dislike it the most, could not connect and she got on my nerves, as for Donovan you can tell he has a dark side to him and has dominant persona. He was more like able of the two even though but he honestly has an unhealthy obsession with Sabrina. there were parts that kept me interested and other parts (mainly Sabrina) that i just felt like why I am i still reading this but yet i have to keep reading because i hate leaving unfinished books. It does leave in a cliffhanger so you have been warned.
This book is so stupid, I couldn’t stop reading. Seriously.
Plus, I just couldn’t get over the fact that she slept with both of them. They’re more than best friends, they consider each other family (never felt that tbh, but they said it). And sibling double dipping is really disgusting in my book. Always. It wasn’t just one time. It was a whole weekend + oral + explicit second morning after.
I haven’t checked yet, but I hope Weston doesn’t have/get a book because he is already ruined for me. [Edit: Of course he has a book.]
It really pisses me off Always Publishing (a fairly new and “different” Italian publisher) is publishing this shit when other much better stories remain untranslated. Shame on them. And shame on me for thinking they were different. Never buying a book from them.
Paige on the other hand, I’ll read again. Fixed on You has been on my TBR since the very beginning and it’s not her fault I decided to read this shit first.
