They’re serving up some red-hot revenge. A sizzling series from #1 New York Times bestselling author Rachel van Dyken.Blaire has never quite gotten over Jessie Beckett, the ex–NFL star whose kisses were hot enough to ignite the entire Eastern Seaboard. When he chose work over her, Blaire was left brokenhearted. Why else would she have married a skeezy two-timer, just to divorce him less than a … divorce him less than a year later?
Now Blaire is getting even by becoming one half of Dirty Exes, a PI firm fully committed to humiliating cheating jerks. If only the new jerk she’s been hired to uncover wasn’t Jessie Beckett himself.

4 1/2 stars! I am a long time reader of Rachel Van Dyken and she rarely dissapoints. Dirty Exes is a fantastic rom-com with a totally relatable herione. I will admit I was a bit leary going in because I am not a fan of the love triangle. I’m glad I trusted my gut because this wasn’t really a triangle. It was more about Blaire finding her way through some pretty common insecurities. Plus, I loved having Jessie AND Colin’s POV. Another solid win for Van Dyken.
“Cheater, cheater, where’d you meet her down at Ernie’s bar”
Oh how Rachel knows how to write such funny, and great witted books!
This story starts with Blair who is Ian’s sister (Wings Men INC) walking through a SEWER tunnel to catch a cheater! How I thought I would die while reading through that whole scene. With a small female admitting that she may have anger issues after punching the aforementioned cheater in the face . Blaire is a young woman who is bitter after a bone crushing divorce brought on by her own cheating husband but she still has hope that she may find her own partner in life. Then one day she bumps into ( I mean literally bumped) the man who got away. The man who she has always thought was the man she should have been with all along Jessie Beckett. She is then hired by Jessie’s wife to figure out if he is cheating. While spying on Jessie on the floor she bumps into Colin who is so, so, sexy. With his snake tattoo, and long dark chocolaty hair. Then the soap drama of all soap dramas ensues
This book was a great read! I can’t wait until the next book
I was surprised that this was about Ian Hunter’s sister. Remember him from A Matchmaker’s Playbook book? He mentioned that his sister was the reason he started Wingman Inc.
I really enjoyed the story and that it really didn’t go as I suspected it would. I do think it was better and exactly how I wanted it to end. This wasn’t overly angsty but it was sizzling with chemistry and full of swoon. I loved these two together and I couldn’t imagine it going any other way.
I never expected this story but I’m so glad she wrote this book. I loved meeting these characters and I can’t wait for the next book.
