“THIS BOOK WAS SO GOOD! I fell hard for Dixon … I would give it more than 5 stars if I had them, but until then… 5*****” Wicked Good Reads
“This book. This book knocked me on my butt, it twisted me up in knots and consumed me until the end. Just be warned, it is not your typical romance. It’s a wild ride with a naughty, naughty man.” Kendall Ryan
I knew she was bad news when she walked into … news when she walked into my office, but I just couldn’t help myself…
Filthy, sexy and full of surprises, Juliet is so hot she has me on fire. I’ve met my match and I can’t help going back for more.
Then there’s Madison… she’s sweet, funny and awakens in me a fierce need to protect her.
But I don’t do relationships. I don’t usually do the same woman twice.
Juliet and Madison: Two very different women have got me completely hooked.
Who will I choose?
I know who I should choose, but I never said I was the hero of this story, or even the good guy. And besides, who wants to be good, when it feels so good being bad?
My tale isn’t for the faint-hearted. If you’re game, strap yourself in and expect the unexpected. But don’t say I didn’t warn you…
Achingly sexy and highly addictive, the first in the Sinful Pleasures Series will have you hooked. Driven to Sin coming very soon…
Note: Previously published as ‘Addicted to Sin’.

After the book I finished, I needed to read a sweet and funny book, so when a friend recommended this one I knew that I had to read it.
First of all, because it was written by one author that I adore and second because she recommended it.
I knew Monica James not too long ago with a trilogy that knocked me out.
Her writing is raw and wild, intense and emotional, just the way I like it.
Dirty Dix is the book in question and it’s the first book from the Hard Love Romance series.
This book explores Dixon’s life.
Dixon is hot as hell and he knows it. He’s a Psychiatrist who’s supposed to help his patients. Well, he dies help but not in a conventional way… Oh no, sir… What better way to do his job than to sleep with his patients?
But he wasn’t always like this. Once upon a time, he had a fiance until the day he discovered that she was cheating on him with his best friend.
Sleeping around was the solution but what he wasn’t counting on was to feel attracted by two women at the same time.
What a book this was.
Perfect plot, very well written.
I loved every chapter and I was on my toes waiting for the other shoe to drop.
These characters captured my attention from the beginning and the need to know more was super high.
I loved the way the story progressed and I couldn’t stop reading it.
And the hot factor is super high.
Oh yeah, just the way I like it.
I’m in love and a little mad.
Why end it like this?
Thank God that I have the next book.
Great book Monica. Lived it so freaking much.
I have been following Monica James for the last couple of years but this is the first book I have read by her. I know…I know, shame on me! But, in my defense I wanted to start at the beginning of a series. And this one is right up my alley.
Dixon is psychologist that specializes in addiction. He solves other people’s problems but not his own. Addiction is all about desire and his favorite form is sex. Eighteen months ago, he was a different man. He thought he was in love but his fiancé had other plans and that didn’t include him in her future. And to cope…he is working his way through New York having sex with random women. He isn’t looking for a relationship of any kind but that was before two women entered in his life that he didn’t see coming…
Juliet is a sex addict. She came to Dixon’s office for help but she really wanted her claws on Dixon’s back. She wasn’t going to give up until she got what or who she wanted. Dixon knew he needed to stay away from her for his sanity and his career but when you are addicted, it’s hard to turn down something right in front of you.
Madison was saved by Dixon one night and the minute they locked eyes, there was something there. He saw her innocence and she felt safe even without knowing his name. He was intrigued by her. He wanted more than just sex with her but she can he just be her friend? He always senses that she has some demons of her own…
Juliet and Madison are complete opposites. One is sinful while the other is an angel. He has to look at his life and figure out what he really wants. Just Sex or a relationship? He gets to know both women in different ways over a few months. Who will he choose and will she have him?
Oh Dixon…he is a complex character, I should think he is an ass but I don’t, I instead fell for him even though I wanted to slap him more than once. Now, with Juliet, she goes after what she wants and is not a quitter but Madison is so sweet, fun and troubled so she grew on me.
I thought the story was different and I loved it. It’s dual POV and that happens to be my favorite so that was perfect. I was on vacation while I was reading it and if not for that I would have finished in one day instead of over a few days.
Overall…I wanted to slap Dixon then kiss him, I laughed, I swooned and can’t wait for the next book, Driven to Sin.
Quotes:
“I don’t make love. I fuck. I fuck long. And I fuck hard. I’m not here for romance, or to fall in love,” I warn, rubbing my tip along her opening. “I don’t make empty promises. I’m just here to come. Can you handle that?”
I just want to be normal, and Dixon makes me feel that way.
Work is easy. Sleep is easy. Sex is easy. It’s all the stuff in between that gets in the way.
