Abigail Haddock is stunning, sensible, and some would say…stuffy. But it’s not really her fault. She was raised in one of Wessco’s oldest, most affluent, aristocratic families—“stuffy” is their middle name. So is successful. Abby’s working overtime to distinguish herself as a top-notch physician, just as her family legacy demands.
She doesn’t have time for nonsense.
Tommy Sullivan’s all about … Sullivan’s all about nonsense.
Sure, he’s an elite bodyguard with lethal skills and co-owner of the renowned, S&S Securities Firm—protector of the wealthy and titled. But he’s also rowdy, fun and thoroughly irresistible.
Tommy knows how to have a good time, and he’s never seen someone more in need of a good time than Abby. The lass needs long, wet, filthy kisses—STAT—and he’s just the man for the job.
It doesn’t take long for a wildly sexy, sinfully satisfying, no-strings attached arrangement to turn into something more. Something sweet and addictive and real. But Tommy and Abby are too royally stubborn to admit it.
Opposites attract, everyone knows that. But can their red-hot relationship last—can they love…for forever?

I received a free copy of this book from the author.
Dirty Charmer is a tale about a young woman, Abby, in residency to be a doctor. She comes from one of the lower lines of royalty but also a family with high expectations and loads of achievements. It’s also a story that includes her love interest a bodyguard named Tommy.
There will be some chuckle induced moments in this book as Tommy just can’t help himself. He’s serious about a lot of things but he also knows how to let loose and have a good time. Teasing is one of his favorite pastimes.
Abby, however, needs to loosen up! She has a lot of expectations on herself to live up to her family accomplishments. With such a high bar set it seems impossible for her to achieve. When she’s around Tommy, however, none of those expectations come to mind. She’s free to be herself and live a little.
There are moments when this book just kinda drug along. It’s still a good story it could be just the mood I was in while reading. Opposites attract, for sure, and this time it’s a doozy. Care enough to see how Tommy finally wins over his woman? Check out Dirty Charmer to see.
Tommy and Abigail are polar opposites in every way. He works hard but plays harder and she has mapped out every aspect of her future to the point where she’s doesn’t live or really enjoy her life. She refuses to drop the ball, enter Tommy. He was exactly what she needed even though she didn’t want it. These two balanced each other and what resulted in this story was lots of funny moments and a whole lot of steam!
If this story doesn’t charm the pants off you while you read it, I don’t want to judge but …. LOL
I was in a state of perpetual laughter/*happy sigh* the entire time I was reading. Tommy was the one full of one-liners, but Abigail charmed me in her own special way as well! These two had incredible layers of chemistry between them, both as friends and when it turned to more as well. Their story was addictive. I couldn’t get enough, and I loved being a part of the ah-ha moment when they both realized they’d navigated to the more isle of friendship. GAH, this story just made me giddy! I should really read a lot more Emma Chase because every time that I do, my life just seems brighter! She’s fantastic. This story was fantastic. Just read it! LOL
Gah!! I have been in love with Emma Chase’s stories since Tangled and so I could not wait to jump on this story. Dirty Charmer is a spinoff from the Royally trilogy but is a complete standalone. Tommy and Abby were just so delightful. This story had the amazing banter we’ve come to expect from Emma Chase’s stories but it also had a fiery and passionate connection that could not be denied! I loved Tommy and Abby together so much!
At first glance, Tommy and Abby are as opposites can be, but when we get the chance to delve beneath the surface we see how perfectly matched these two really are. Their chemistry was fiery and once the fun loving and sexy Tommy and the “stuffy” and sensible Abby got together, it was pure fireworks! I also loved seeing Logan and Ellie again as Royally Endowed was my absolute favorite book in the Royally trilogy. So now seeing Logan’s business partner, another elite bodyguard finding his match, was icing on the cake. Overall this story was funny, sexy and banterific. Tommy was to die for delicious and I for one hope we get more books from S&S Securities! 5 stars! ~Ratula
Dirty Charmer is the fifth book in the Royally series by the talented Emma Chase. Emma writes the best Royal romances! This is Tommy’s story. Finally. We all loved Tommy so much and I knew his story was going to be dirty and fun! He has a serious job, protecting people from harm. So when he’s not working, he’s fun, laid back and always ready for a good time. Abby is always serious. She has a life plan to be the best surgeon and she can’t let anything get in her way. Especially the sexy, dirty, bodyguard who she shared a sizzling kiss with two years ago. Now Tommy’s back in her life as her bodyguard and it’s not easy to ignore him. Tommy can’t believe his luck. He never stopped thinking about Abby. She’s was all buttoned up, but he knew she wanted to cut loose and he’s just the man to show her the way. Abby realizes she needs to do more than just work. What’s the harm in asking Tommy for a no strings attached affair? Oh man! Neither Tommy or Abby expected their chemistry to be that hot! It’s the perfect arrangement. Call me when you need to scratch your itch. And then it turns into more. So much more. They come from different worlds, but they are perfect for each other. Will Abby be able to let go of the control on her life and let Tommy love her? Will Tommy wait for Abby to come to her senses? Tommy, I love you so much! I knew his story was going to be good, but I didn’t think I would love him this much. He’s big and sexy, but he’s also sweet, loves his friends and family and is honest. And he’s dirty. Oh so dirty! He likes women, drinking and having fun, but he’s not a player. He’s just perfect! Overall, I laughed, got very hot and bothered and cried!
Dirty Charmer by Emma Chase is a opposite attract romance, we have a shy girl Abigail and a sexy bodyguard name Tommy. I think this story was so good, because we can see that the first time Abby and Tommy meet it was in an unusual situation. After some time they find each other again but Tommy following his own rules cant do anything to start something with Abigail. Abigail doesnt want to recognize her attraction for Tommy because she was raised in a family with royal relationships so they are a bit cold and they dont express their feelings.
A situations makes them to start a funny agreement that with time will change things for them. If you want to know what happens and how this relationship evolves you need to read this book as soon as is live. you will really enjoy it.
IF you have read Emma Chase’s royal series you will see some of those characters in this book, and i love when authors do that a spinoff from a series that we love so much!!
Abigail and Tommy’s story is an opposites-attract romance story of a doctor and a bodyguard, they meet in not very good circumstances but Abby is worth the chase, even though she is shy and doesn’t express emotions very much. They whoever have very emotional moments thought the story and others where you laugh out loud. This Royally series is a five star, all books are fantastic, this book will show you some of the characters of past books in the series and can be read as a stand-alone.
Overall Grade:
When I began reading romance at the end of 2018, I believe one of the first authors I read as I was perusing Amazon is Emma Chase. I had only read a few romance authors, and I knew nothing about famous romance authors. Royally Screwed was an Amazon recommendation, and there was something about the cover and the blurb that grabbed my attention. The idea that a commoner could be plucked out of obscurity to potentially become a future king’s wife is many a romance reader’s dream. That he would abdicate the throne for her is even more of the fantasy. I fell deeply for Emma Chase’s brand of romance: alpha-ish hero + ambitious, intelligent, insightful heroine + the challenges of a kingdom such as Wessco. Add in an overbearing, but hilariously protective and insightful grandmother/Queen to add in layers, and I was hooked. After that, when Emma Chase released any of the Royally books, they hit my Kindle the day of release and I gobbled them in a day. To this day, my favorite of the four books is Lenora’s story, Royally Yours. That story is the dictionary definition of bittersweet romance.
When she announced her new Bodyguard series which takes us back to Wessco, I knew I was returning to this mythical place where the love stories are true fairy tales. Dirty Charmer, the first book of this series, does three things very well: (1) reintroduces us to Wessco and several of our favorite characters of the Royally series, (2) introduces us to one of the most virile, charming heroes I’ve read in Emma Chase’s books, along with a stately, intelligent, challenge of a heroine, and (3) offers a steam fest that will keep your glasses steamed and your panties…well, you can fill in that phrase.
Dirty Charmer follows one of my favorite romantic tropes: opposites attracting. In fact, this is the underlying message of Chase’s newest book. Abby, her heroine, and Tommy, her hero, are the definition of opposites. Yet, one of the best things about this trope is its elaboration on the idea that opposites offer two halves of the same whole. And that is the case with Abby and Tommy. From the first chapter, there is a clear chemistry between Abby and Tommy, and Chase doesn’t hold back on crafting their fiery coupling. Tommy’s ability to let life fall easily off his shoulders helps dirty up an Abby whose life is structured to an oppressive state. Every moment of her life and plan for the future has a distinct place, but it shows that she isn’t truly “living,” instead, walking through the motions of it. Tommy becomes the color of Abby’s life, and Abby brings a focus to Tommy’s. It’s here where Chase shows her best work. As these two push into and against each other, their chemistry is palpable and heats up every page until the end.
Whenever a hero and heroine undertake a journey of evolution, I find this irresistible as a reader. At the start of this story, Tommy is a fun-loving, playboy. People take his job knowledge seriously because he does his job well, but they don’t necessarily take his approach to life seriously. He is a one-night stand kind of guy. Yet, when he meets Abby, Tommy’s transformation begins. Without knowing it, Tommy’s journey will pale only in comparison to Abby’s. Tommy helps Abby become a better version of herself in that she stops living under the stricture of her family’s expectations by embracing her own life. Tommy and Abby’s journey is my favorite part of Chase’s story, I think, because we can connect to the idea that we aren’t completely defined by one or two actions or choices. Instead, we can be more, if we want it. Even more, we need to live a life of balance to live a full life. And sometimes, people come into our lives to tease those changes out of us. Chase artfully presents this idea drawing you into her romance.
Emma Chase has opened a door with Dirty Charmer. Tommy and Logan (the hero of Chase’s Royally Endowed) own a security company that is rife with potential future stories. For this reader who fell deeply for Chase’s Wessco romances, this is exciting news because Emma Chase has this capacity to offer romantic stories that challenge our thinking while offering up our fantasies in bold print. If you’re a fan of alpha-ish, funny-loving heroes and their intelligent, thoughtful heroines who burn the pages with their chemistry, then you should be reading Dirty Charmer. Today.
Emma Chase really knows how to a produce a great story. Dirty Charmer is the story of Tommy we’ve all been waiting for. Abby is a doctor from a rich and noble family of overachievers when she gets kissed by a patient with a concession. That kiss stays with her and two years later, to her shock, her new bodyguard is the kisser! Tommy is a fun-loving hero that we don’t see too often in the world of grumpy alphas. He’s charming and generally a good time. What’s more is he’s determined to pull Abby of her shell of constant work. They initially agree to a no-strings attached fling but their attraction and general like for each other quickly turns into something more. While there are outside forces trying to get in the way, you just know that this couple works. They compliment each other and just fit together perfectly!
Let me start off by saying that, I apparently have reached a point where ordinary is not enough for me anymore, so please bear this in mind while reading this review.
The plot, which is mainly the romance between Tommy and Abby, is pretty cliche. If you go back to the most basic elements of romance novels and consider which tropes this book might cover from the info you garnered from the blurb you’d be able to get an idea of what will happen. I was very underwhelmed, to say the least, and it was just too simple and not special enough for me to fall in love with this book. I was hoping for something original, but unfortunately, this type of story has been done a thousand times before already…
With no “real” plot and the complete focus on the couple, I expected to at least be able to witness how they fall in love and how they function as a couple. That wasn’t entirely the case here. Most of the bonding I so desperately wanted happened “off-screen”, things they did were just glossed over by informing the reader that they did this and had a great time, and then this happened, and 3 weeks later this. Unfortunately, the way the book was told only left me with a sense of detachment while reading.
Now, I know everything I just mentioned sounds super negative, but I honestly don’t think there’s anything wrong with the book if you take it at face-value: a straightforward, pretty simple and not too complicated or angsty romance. I’m convinced that many will love this book for its lightheartedness and especially, for its fun and charming hero.
For me, Dirty Charmer probably just came at the wrong time which is why I’m settling for 3 stars.
4.5 ‘Chasing you’ Stars!

Tommy Sullivan. Need I say more? *sigh* I think we’ve been excitedly (and impatiently) waiting for his story ever since we met him in Emma’s Royally series and fell in love with this sweet and cocky bodyguard. Of course, Emma Chase gave him the love story he deserved, full of hilarious and adorable moments, sexual tension and a whole lot of intense chemistry. You’ll fall in love with Tommy all over again!
Dirty Charmer is Emma’s upcoming standalone release and, as said, it’s the story of Tommy Sullivan and Abby Haddock. I do recommend reading the Royally series prior because it’s A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and many of its characters appear in this book. Tommy is Abby’s new bodyguard for the next two weeks and the tension between them has been there ever since an unforgettable moment they shared before. Abby is from an aristocratic family and she is an outstanding doctor focused just on her work. But Tommy is no shy man and he makes sure Abby knows what he feels for her even with his rule of not mixing business with pleasure. But what will happen after the two weeks are over?
She’s a tightly shut door, who just needs the right key to pop her lock. In more ways than one.
And that key is me.
Oh man.. Dirty Charmer is one sexy, seeeeexy book. As its title says, Tommy is a handsome charmer. He is cocky, funny, loving, protective and did I say sexy? It’s very difficult for Abby to keep her feelings in line around him and it’s the same for Tommy. These two are from very different backgrounds and both have very different goals in mind. But when a connection as strong as theirs is in the mix, that completely blurs and it’s just Tommy and Abby and nothing else.
Tommy Sullivan is a protector. A shield. A guarder of bodies and minds. I’ve seen that—I’ve felt it.
So I have to believe that whatever these feelings are and wherever they may lead… he’ll be careful with me.
I just loved this couple! Tommy is just.. Tommy. He is amazing. And Abby is one hell of a woman. She is a focused professional and so sweet. She just needs to live a little and Tommy is all over that! The tension and chemistry between these two.. MY GOD. Emma Chase sure knows how to turn up the heat. The connection between Tommy and Abby was just pure sweetness and burning moments. I loved them together, I loved the back and forth and I loved how, in the end, they fight for what they feel and leave everything else aside.
The only possible ending for us is a happy one. I’ve never been so sure of anything in my life. I can do this. We can do this.
Therefore, I am rating Dirty Charmer with 4.5 STARS because it was one heck of an experience for me! I loved getting back in the Royally world, seeing bits and pieces of those characters I loved so much and seeing the wonderful Tommy fall in love with just as wonderful Abby. Opposites attract and how very much these two are to each other! Emma Chase has given us another couple to love, many new characters around them (are we getting more books? I hope so!) and an allover hilarious and sexy love story you definitely don’t want to miss!
This book is a great antidote for a bad day. You would have to try really hard to read an Emma Chase novel and still feel grumpy. Dirty Charmer starts with an alluring meet cute and the smiles just keep coming.
Can you be cocky and still be a nice guy? If you are Tommy Sullivan, the answer is yes. Yes, you most definitely can. The charismatic bodyguard has an abundance of swagger and is always down for a good time, but he is also a thoughtful, level-headed family man.
Abby Haddock is a gifted medical resident who feels pressure to live up to her aristocratic family’s high expectations. She is singularly focused on succeeding, which leaves no room for anything fun—certainly not dating. Her desire for approval makes her a tad uptight and insecure, but she is so kind that I just wanted to give her a big hug. It’s a welcome relief when Tommy comes along and sprinkles her drab life with color.
Even though they come from different backgrounds and have opposite personalities, I loved how accepting they are of each other. I also enjoyed seeing how they fit into each other’s world. And their chemistry? Phew, it’s off the charts.
While not my favorite book in the Royally series—that honor still goes to Royally Endowed—Dirty Charmer is sweet and sultry. It’s a well-rounded, delightful mood booster.
* I received an early copy of this book to voluntarily read. *
A sinfully royal treat!
Dirty Charmer is a standalone set in the world of Emma Chase’s Royally series, and man is it amazing. Tommy is one of those that works hard and plays hard. If you have read the previous in the series, you may remember him as the yummy bodyguard to Nicholas, and now as a co-owner to a security firm, he’s all business when it comes to protecting his charges, however, he’s also a serious flirt on his off time, and he knows how to do both extremely well. When he lays eyes on his new client, he can’t seem to keep his eyes off her for more than one reason, not only do they have history, but he knows he can loosen the uptight physician given the chance. Abby comes from an extremely stuffy family but has never been able to live up their expectations, even as a top doctor-in-training. When her job is put in jeopardy, she figures that she has nothing to lose by letting go with Tommy, no strings attached. The passion these two have is out of this world, and I love the chemistry between them. It was gratifying to see some previous characters, and I loved the drive and no-nonsense attitudes between Tommy and Abby. Overall, this was a quick, fun, and dirty read that makes you fall in love with both Tommy and Abby. Loved it!
Dirty Charmer is a fun, smart, sexy romance between Tommy—who, honestly is the best part of this whole book—and Abby.
I loved the give and take relationship between these two. They are so opposite in their personalities and their upbringing. Tommy’s never missed an opportunity to have fun—at work and in life. And Abby is desperately in need of some fun in her life.
Abby’s family is the epitome of the “no fun”—they’re stiff, stuffy, abrupt, judgmental. Abby is driven by her need to succeed and needs Tommy to remind her that there’s life outside of work. That there’s fun to be had—that there’s room for love and romance.
And whoa, do they have some fun. **eyebrow wiggle** Their romance is fun, sexy, easy. Until it gets a little too real. A little too beyond the “no strings” agreement they made. And getting them to admit that their fun, their chemistry, their everything was something that would truly last forever.
I loved it when they both finally pulled their heads out of their rear ends and realized they truly deserved to be happy. That they were the only ones who got to decide their future. And that love and their happily ever after was worth fighting for. 4.5 stars
What a sweet and easy read!! The cocky hero and the sweet demure heroine are the quintessential opposites attract couple and Emma Chase shows that love always conquers all. It may be a little bumpy of a ride with all the potholes and detours but the journey makes for a meaningful and wonderful ride.
Tommy Sullivan is the lovable cocky bodyguard that use to guard Prince Nicholas but now owns his own security company. We met him back in Royally Screwed. Abby Haddock, technically, Lady Abigail or Dr. Haddock is the sweet, people pleaser who is driven to be the best surgeon for her family. These two run in different circles but your heart never follows the rules when it falls. They have a great sassy banter, start off as friends with benefits and as they enjoy their “friends”relationship, they begin to really fall for one another and realize that life without each other is not what they want.
There is some angst, some family meddling on both sides but over all this story is just a feel good romance that makes you smile and remember why you love contemporary romance. Emma Chase is one of the best of contemporary romance writers and I can honestly recommend all her books for the adorable arrogant hero’s and her fiercely lovable heroines and of course, the BEST HEAs.
I love this series! I can always trust Emma Chase to give me a great story with the romance I need to make me feel all the feels. Tommy was a royal bodyguard and we met him in Logan’s story.
Tommy and Abby have a brief history, which includes a concussion, a kiss and a smack across the face. Tommy definitely didn’t forget the feisty resident he woke up to while he was in the hospital, and when he is hired to guard her for a few weeks, you know sparks begin to fly all over again.
I enjoyed this book and was inspired by Abby and her drive to be more than just a pretty face with a trust fund. Abby and Tommy grew up in different worlds and it is plain to see they will have to fight to keep each other in their lives.
There are ups and downs but Emma does a fantastic job making them seem realistic and not too dramatic. In the end, it was a light hearted read that will have you smiling and butterflies floating in your belly.
Dirty Charmer was a fantastic read that had me laughing, smiling, and cheering for Abby and Tommy the entire time. It was so entertaining and inviting, sexy and sweet, with awesome characters. It had excellent banter and fun dialogue. I couldn’t read it fast enough!
Another fantastically fun and beautifully romantic story from Emma Chase! Funny, sexy, heartfelt and wonderfully entertaining (and it’s worth repeating – sexy!), Tommy and Abby’s story stole my heart and had me completely captivated from start to finish.
This is the first book in Emma’s new Bodyguards series. It’s also a spin-off from the Royally series – Tommy was the bodyguard for Prince Nicholas (from book, #1, Royally Screwed), and is the best friend of fellow bodyguard, Logan (from book #3, Royally Endowed). And while I loved the tie-in, you can easily read this book as a standalone (but do add the Royally books to your TBR, because they are awesome!).
Tommy and Logan have left the royal family’s bodyguard service and have started their own security firm. They are starting to make a name for themselves, are bringing on and training new staff, and they have a good reputation amongst Wessco’s elite. That doesn’t mean that Tommy doesn’t make time to play, because he is all about having a good time. Playful, fun and carefree, he is living the dream.
“Shame is for losers – which is why I have none.”
Abby Haddock is serious, intelligent, and committed to her goal of becoming a cardiac surgeon. She lives and breathes her work, with little time for anything else as she strives to achieve the high standards set by her aristocratic family of geniuses. When Abby’s family runs into trouble and needs protection, they call S&S Securities, and Tommy assigns himself to guard Abby. They had an encounter in the past which showed with a filthy flirt he is, and left Abby truly shaken by her attraction to him, and now he’s by her side all day, every day, and sparks are flying!
“I don’t mess around with clients.” He makes the sign of the cross. “So for as long as you are one I will be a complete professional. It’s probably for the best that we’re discussing it, so you don’t mistake me not trying to get in your pants as me not wanting to get in your pants.” His eyes slide downward, and his voice dips to a whisper. “I definitely want in.”
This book is SO appropriately named, because Tommy is a dirty charmer! He’s rude, filthy and upfront, and he gives no fucks, but he’s also this gorgeous and flirtatious man who oozes charm. He can see that Abby is stuck in her joyless little world who needs to cut loose for a bit, and he knows he’s just the man to pull her out of it.
“I believe God has a plan for all of us, a purpose. And now, more than ever, standing in this dreary flat, watching this stunning girl eat her sad, lonely little meal – I believe God wants me to screw some joy into Abby Haddock’s life.
Lucky for me, the Almighty’s desires coincide with my own.
And I’m more than up to the task.”
It’s not an easy sell, but Tommy gets this way and so begins an epically hot, dirty and passionate no-strings attachment where he proceeds to rock Abby’s world in – and out of – the bedroom. Holy damn, it’s steamy, and Abby finds herself relishing every moment of it as she experiences something completely new with Tommy, brightening her dull little world.
“The magic peen is a hell of a drug.”
I laugh. “The magic peen?”
“You’re practically floating on air. Like he jizzed pixie dust all over you.”
I giggle out a groan and cover my eyes with my hands. “Etta. Too much.”
She wiggles her eyebrows.
“And yet not nearly enough.”
But no-strings quickly turns into more as Tommy and Abby find themselves drawn into each other’s lives, and I loved watching things shift and change between them as they open up and grow closer. But can two such opposites really make it work? Their goals and dreams, and even the way they live their lives, are so different. Is what they have found together strong enough to overcome it all? They’ll have to find out, and it’s an emotional ride watching them get there.
“This is more than an arrangement. More than convenience or fun or stress relief. More than fantastic, filthy fucking. It’s all of that – but it’s not just that. Not anymore.”
I loved this book so much. It’s a great mix of funny, sweet and fun, with a nice amount of emotion as we watch Tommy and Abby figure it all out.
Along the way, we get to meet a whole new cast of fantastic characters (Abby’s best friend had me laughing out loud so many times!), as well as catching up with the Logan and Ellie, and the royal family – yes all of them – which was a real treat.
“Children,” the Queen laments, “always so certain they know everything.”
“True,” Father agrees. “But were we really so different at their age, Your Majesty?”
“Well…” Queen Lenora considers this question.
And then she answers.
“When I was young I was sure I knew everything… but it turns out I was right, so that’s not the same thing at’all.”
The story ends in a great place, with a super satisfying epilogue which closes off Tommy and Abby’s story beautifully! I’m thinking (and hoping) that fellow security specialist, James, will have his story told next, and I’m so excited to read that story! But whatever this series brings, I am here for it!
I loved it! 4.5 stars
Emma Chase is a safe bet. If you’re in a funk and want to wallow in the unfairness of life? Fugettaboutit. This Dirty Charmer won’t let you. Tommy Sullivan is one of the sexiest, cheekiest, most laid-back heroes you’ll ever read about and he’ll sweep you off your feet and steal your heart a second later.
“Shame is for losers—which is why I have none.”
Abby Haddock is driven and, yes, a little stuffy. In a family of overachievers she feels ordinary and average and an urge to excel. Enter Tommy, unconventional and so the opposite of what she thinks she needs. What Abby needs though is some balance to her stressful job so an arrangement with benefits with a beautiful bodyguard who challenges her might just be the thing. What was supposed to be fun and a stress-reliever soon turns into so much more. Tommy does his thing, you know, the feet-sweeping and heart-stealing, chases her with the tenacity of bulldog and Abby tumbles head over heels and so totally unexpected that she doesn’t brace for impact.
“Tommy Sullivan is a protector. A shield. A guarder of bodies and minds. I’ve seen that—I’ve felt it. So I have to believe that whatever these feelings are and wherever they may lead . . . he’ll be careful with me. And for now, that’s enough.”
It’s hard to resist Tommy. Always a cocky grin and a comeback on his lips he will entertain you throughout the entire story. Emma Chase knows how to write a lovable manwhore with a soft heart who will stay a rogue even after he has been tamed. I really liked that Abby took her time to figure things out – a little reserved and emotionally stunted she needed to analyze the consequences of their relationship from every angle. But Tommy also softened her, made her stronger, lighten up a little and have fun. And he makes her feel extraordinary and special, a feeling she isn’t familiar with. I adored their relationship which is so full of laughter and honesty and tenderness.
Emma Chase connects this book directly to her Royally series. You’ll see some familiar characters – I delight in those reunions. I love catching up with heroes and heroines from previous books! I’ve been waiting for DIRTY CHARMER a long time. It was so worth it. I had so much fun watching Abby and Tommy fall in love and enjoyed every minute with them. And damn their chemistry, DAYUM. Emma Chase has a knack for writing super-endearing characters in sexy, cute stories. I can’t wait to see whose book will be next!
“I give him my biggest, brightest smile. Then he’s smiling back, sending me a sexy wink just because he can. And life isn’t just perfect . . . it’s extraordinary.”
I was provided an early copy of this from Valentine PR on behalf of the author. My review has not been influenced and my opinion is my own.
I have been a fan of Emma Chase for quite a few years. I only trust her to write Royal romances, honestly.
I’ve been waiting for Tommy’s story it feels like since I first read Royally Matched. And the wait was 100% worth it.
Tommy was everything I was waiting on and Abby? She was perfect for him.
A friend to bodyguard to friends to lover situation is what we have here and Tommy Sullivan is dreamy.
I have missed Emma Chase’s writing, but it was so easy to get back into. The Royally series is one of my favourite and I really hope this isn’t the last of this series
