Abigail Haddock is stunning, sensible, and some would say…stuffy. But it’s not really her fault. She was raised in one of Wessco’s oldest, most affluent, aristocratic families—“stuffy” is their middle name. So is successful. Abby’s working overtime to distinguish herself as a top-notch physician, just as her family legacy demands.
She doesn’t have time for nonsense.
Tommy Sullivan’s all about … Sullivan’s all about nonsense.
Sure, he’s an elite bodyguard with lethal skills and co-owner of the renowned, S&S Securities Firm—protector of the wealthy and titled. But he’s also rowdy, fun and thoroughly irresistible.
Tommy knows how to have a good time, and he’s never seen someone more in need of a good time than Abby. The lass needs long, wet, filthy kisses—STAT—and he’s just the man for the job.
It doesn’t take long for a wildly sexy, sinfully satisfying, no-strings attached arrangement to turn into something more. Something sweet and addictive and real. But Tommy and Abby are too royally stubborn to admit it.
Opposites attract, everyone knows that. But can their red-hot relationship last—can they love…for forever?

Steamy and hilarious read that will keep you up all hours.
Emma never fails to write amazing banter and characters with explosive chemistry. This sexy opposites attract romance will have you flipping pages until the very end.
Nothing beats an Emma Chase romance for a great escape! Highly recommended for lovers of steamy, funny love stories.
Such a fun book … and deliciously sexy! Emma knows how to write chemistry! These two are hot!
Love this continuation of an amazing series! A bonus was the cameos from the other royally series characters!
A super sexy standalone with banter to die for and off the charts chemistry? Sign me up! Emma Chase is one of my go-to authors and Dirty Charmer is EVERYTHING I love about her work!
Another amazing read by Emma Chase. Tommy and Abby are perfect together. From their first meeting in the hospital when he reaches up and grabs her and kisses her I knew their story was going to be explosive. They meet again when he is hired to protect her for a short time. He doesn’t make his feelings for her known until the last day since he never gets involved with a client. Once they finally do get together she makes him understand that it is just a “friends with benefits” type of thing. She doesn’t have time for a relationship. She has too many things to accomplish and too many people’s expectations to live up to. Her grandmother being one. High expectations are put on her since all the rest of her siblings are so successful. Heck even her nieces are adding to the pressure. Her career is most important and she does not need any distractions to keep her from accomplishing them. But sometimes what we want and what our hearts want are two very different things. Can she find a balance between her career, a relationship with Tommy and her family expectations?
Tommy is amazing. He shows Abby how to let loose and let go. She is able to relax with him. She can talk to him, their sex life is off the charts and she just really likes being around him. Somehow the pressures she felt before him now aren’t so strong. She still loves being a surgeon but she also enjoys spending time with him and stopping to smell the roses of life. Dirty Charmer is one story that will make you see how you can have it all if only you let go a little and enjoy what life has to offer. Also to make others understand you are in charge of your own life. They might have expectations for you but only you can accomplish what you want and feel is what you need to be happy. You are in charge of your own happiness.

What a fun and completely entertaining story. This book had me laughing out loud. This was the perfect story to read when you need to lift your spirits.
Dirty Charmer is a spin off from Emma Chase’s Royally series. Tommy (the Hero) was once a bodyguard to Prince Nicholas from Royally Screwed (Book 1). This is a complete standalone novel and you don’t have to read the Royally series to really enjoy this book, but why wouldn’t you?? That series of stories was amazing also!!!
If you are a fan of an opposites attract story, this is one you will want to read. Tommy and Abby were complete opposites but totally worked together. They balanced each other out perfectly. Because they were so different they had amazing banter and their chemistry was off the charts too.
This story is about Tommy and Abby. Tommy was a bodyguard who has now opened up S&S Securities with Logan (Hero in Royally Endowed, Book 3). Abby is studying to be a Cardiac Surgeon and comes from a very deathly family. Tommy is laid back and goes with the flow, where as Abby is uptight and determined to make her family proud. They briefly met 2 years ago and now Tommy is being hired to watch over Abby for a short time. Tommy is determined to loosen her up and get her to have some fun. Can Tommy break down Abby’s stuffy walls?? What happens when just a little fun, turns into something more?? Read this book to find out.
The secondary characters in this book were AMAZING!! I absolutely loved Etta and think she needs her own book. She will have you cracking up. I thought all these characters added something to this story and were fun to read about.
I would 100% recommend this book to all Emma Chase fans and if you love an opposites attract story. Add this one to your TBR list and make sure to 1-click it when it releases!!!
Talk about a fan-freaking-tastic romance that kept me hooked from start to end. Dirty Charmer was an absolute joy to read. It was full of fun-loving humor, heart-warming romance, gut-wrecking feels and emotions with a dash of angst.
Tommy Sullivan was a laid back, in-the-moment elite bodyguard. I loved that he was rowdy, full of life but sharp and lethal when it comes to his job.
Abigail Haddock was a straight-laced, work-driven surgeon. I loved that she was highly skilled in her field but was so driven to distinguish herself that she had no life outside of work.
Their differing personalities and the contrast to how they lived their lives were what made them so perfect together. Tommy and Abby were the epitome of opposites attract. And their chemistry and connection were fire.
It was so awesome to see how they brought out the best parts of each other. Through their wildly-sexy, sinfully-satisfying, no-string attached arrangement, they developed a bond that transcended attraction. I loved all those moments that started to change things for them. Even the lows and struggles were beautiful because it was a necessary part of their journey to understand each other better.
Emma Chase has done it yet again. I loved everything about Dirty Charmer.
A bodyguard and a doctor, opposites do attract! The latest romance from Emma Chase!
I LOVE Emma’s writing and this opposites attract romance did not disappoint!

I love a good opposites attract romance and this one excels with excellent writing, witty encounters and steamy goodness! Love Emma Chase!
I’ve been a fan of Emma Chase since she released Tangled back in 2013 and she has never disappointed me. If you are looking for a fun, sexy, sweet, and funny romance, Emma delivers every single time. I love the Royally Series, and while Dirty Charmer isn’t about royalty, it does tie-in because it’s about Tommy Sullivan, bodyguard, who we met in the first Royally book. Do you have to read them first? No, I don’t think so, but it would make it better and I wholeheartedly recommend it.
When Tommy Sullivan awoke in the hospital to find a sexy but buttoned-up doctor tending to his wounds, he immediately flirted with the beautiful doctor.
“You know what they say about men with big brains, don’t you? We’re big everywhere.”
“Are you implying there’s a correlation between the size of your brain and the size of your genitals?”
His brow furrows. “Well, I wouldn’t have used those words—ever. But yeah, that’s what I’m saying.”
They share one fantastic kiss, but she is all about work, and he’s all about play.
“I’m leaving.”
“Funny. Typically the girls I kiss like to tell me when they’re coming.”
Fast forward a few years, and Abby is still working non-stop and has absolutely zero social life. Coming from an aristocratic and hugely successful family, she feels that being just a heart surgeon isn’t enough when the rest of her family is off changing the world. So she is single-minded in her career.
“Perhaps I wasn’t precisely happy, but I was satisfied. Then Tommy Sullivan came along and he changed all my plans.”
When her family is threatened, it’s Tommy they hire to guard Abby, and Tommy’s relentless flirting begins again. When Abby is basically told that her all-work/no play attitude is holding back her career, she decides to take Tommy up on whatever he has to offer.
“I believe God wants me to screw some joy into Abby Haddock’s life. Lucky for me, the Almighty’s desires coincide with my own. And I’m more than up to the task.”
But Abby can’t get sidetracked from her career.
Dirty Charmer Emma Chase Quote
I love a light, fluffy, and fun Emma Chase read. But I will say, this wasn’t unique. I almost felt like I read it before. But Emma’s delivery is what makes it fun.
“I’m already breaking all my rules. But there’s a frenzied, frantic desire pulling inside me. Twisting me up and twirling me around. I’m caught in it, captured by it, completely at its mercy. At his mercy.”
Likes:
•Emma Chase never fails in bringing me a book that makes me smile from start to finish.
•I loved that it stood alone requiring me to not remember anything, yet it still had visits from favorite characters.
•Tommy was so much fun! His cocky arrogance cracked me up.
•The dirty flirty banter. It’s Emma Chase gold.
•Lots of sexy times.
•Very little to no angst.
•Opposites attract.
Dislikes:
•Abby wasn’t the most lovable.
•I listened a couple of weeks ago and basically had to listen again to remember it. It just didn’t stand out as unique or different.
The Narration:
I loved both Andi Arndt and Rupert Channing in this. They both played their characters beautifully and I think they enhanced the read.
The Down & Dirty:
Though very similar to previous books, Dirty Charmer was a fun, light, and sexy read with all the dirty banter that Emma excels at. It can be read alone or as part of the series. If you love the kind of book where the sexy rascal loosens up the uptight socialite, then don’t miss this one. I, for one, will still never miss an Emma Chase book.
Rating: 4 Stars, 4 Heat, 4.5 Narration
Stayed up way too late to finish this book. I’ve loved Tommy from the beginning. I’m a sucker for unrepentant bad boys with a heart of gold. Abby was a treasure. Perhaps a little too tightly wound but Tommy helps her with that. I enjoyed watching both of them figure out that their happiness was more important than anything else. The family dynamics were interesting too. Sometimes families don’t always know what’s best and they don’t always have our best interests at heart. Tough lesson to learn but I liked the way it was handled. Adding another favorite to my Emma Chase shelf.
I just noticed that this is book one in a series called Bodyguards. Is it possible we might be getting more stories about S&S Security? I hope so….
Dirty Charmer was my first Emma Chase novel and I had no idea what I was missing out on. This was an opposites attract story featuring the uptight, accomplished medical resident from an affluent family and her fun, flirty bodyguard. The story was filled with humor, witty banter, some drama and likable and relatable characters. I loved Tommy and he was absolutely perfect for Abby. These two had intense chemistry and scorching hott steamy scenes and I enjoyed seeing how their relationship blossomed.
This is a story that shows how being with the right person can bring out the best in an individual. It gave me all the feels and I would highly recommend it to all lovers of contemporary romance.
I listened to the audiobook version of this novel and Andi Arndt and Rupert Channing did a fantastic job narrating it. They brought the story to life and embodied the characters. I loved the accents and their voices were clear and understandable. I was a pleasure listening to them narrate this novel.
Opposites attract, everyone knows that. But can their red-hot relationship last—can they love…for forever?
I’ve heard the chemistry in this one is off the charts!!!!
I’ve read/listened to just a handful of Emma Chase’s books, and now that I’ve finished this one, I’m determined to correct that!
Dirty Charmer is a light, fun story. There’s a bit of drama, but not enough to weigh the whole thing down.
The characters are wonderful. I loved that Tommy knew to balance work and play, and I could relate to Abby- I’ve been described as uptight more than a few times!
Andi Arndt and Rupert Channing did a wonderful job narrating. I loved Andi’s British accent and Rupert Channing is a new-to-me narrator whose work I will now be looking out for!
Dirty Charmer is an opposites-attract contemporary romance written in dual first-person POV and recorded in dual narration. It’s a standalone that ends with an HEA. No cliffhanger, no cheating.
I received this book at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.
***Audible Version***
Looking for a sweet, sexy listen with some great narrators, look no further than Dirty Charmer by Emma Chase. It is a part of the Royally Series, but it can be listened to as a standalone.
Emma Chase picked the perfect title for this one because Tommy is truly a “dirty charmer.” He exudes sex appeal and likes to talk dirty, especially to Abby, but he is also quite the charmer. He certainly knows what buttons to push where Abby is concerned, but there is just something so special about him.
Abby is a planner, and she can be a bit “stuffy,” but she has grown up in an aristocratic family. She also likes routine and structure. She is driven as well. She has to be if she is going to be the surgeon she has always dreamed of being.
When Tommy is hired for security, her world is turned upside down. She had already met Tommy years before, and he left quite the impression…one she has mixed feelings about. Despite the seriousness of Tommy’s job, he is also fun, completely opposite from Abby. He brings some adventure into her life, and this was one of those stories in which I loved watching the two characters fall for one another.
The narrators were spot on. Andi Arndt brought Abby to life. She captured the essence of who Abby was. I had never heard Rupert Channing narrate anything before, but I do LOVE his voice. This is a sure win if you like an opposites attract tale. The two narrators make it a very quick listen. The only regret I had was that it ended way too soon for me!!!!
A fun, flirty, sensual, and heartwarming story. Abby and Tommy are absolutely cute together, they are opposites but their chemistry and connection is undeniable. I enjoyed this story.
