Dirty Bad Wrong is just that….dirty, bad, and wrong. This was a quick, super steamy read that left me entertained and needing a fan and a glass of water!
This book took me a little bit to get sucked in. Initially I was interested based on some recommendations from others, however, the beginning didn’t capture me. I am glad I stuck it out though because it got a lot more intense! What I loved was how liberated the characters became towards the end of the story, once they overcame their initial traumas/emotional baggage.
If you love dirty, steamy BDSM romances then this is for you!
“I’m going to make you cum, and you’re going to let me. You will not fake, or exaggerate, or rush yourself for the sake of dramatics. You must relax and let it happen. Am I clear?”
Ok guys, I’m about to make a bold ass statement. Dirty Bad Wrong is the kinkiest, dirtiest, filthiest book I’ve read to date.
*gasp*
I know.
I’ve read plenty of BDSM erotic romances, and all vary in degrees of kink. But this book pushed it into a territory I’ve never entered before, and I absolutely adored every single depraved second!
I’m not going to go into specifics because I think going in not knowing what to expect is part of the fun, but just prepare yourself. You have to really enjoy BDSM and pushing boundaries to enjoy this book. If you prefer a little slap and tickle, walk away now. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
James is a sexy corporate dude in a suit by day, but at night he lets himself off that leash and becomes Masque, your resident beast of a sadist. Yum. James takes pleasure and pain very seriously, and honestly there is nothing sexier than a man with no sexual boundaries and who enjoys every part of a woman’s body.
Lydia is coming fresh off a breakup and kind of a indentity crisis. She has always taken care of others, but she soon finds fun in her new found freedom, and discovers she has a huge masochistic side.
The two together? Get your change of panties ready. You’re gonna need them 😉
This was my first book by Jade West, and this experience has made me buy so many more of her books. This one and many others are available on Kindle Unlimited.
Overall rating: 4.5 stars
Steaminess: 5 stars
This book comes with a warning sign and it should be taken seriously, this book has some very heavy BDSM scenes and not for the squeamish. This is an unconventional love story with BDSM scenes that will take you outside of your comfort zone, if you are not into heavy kink.
Lydia finds herself homeless and alone, she breaks down at work with her suitcase under her desk. Unbeknownst to her, James (her boss) was in the office and heard her crying. He suggests she moves in with a friend of his. Raven, her new roommate introduces Lydia to a BDSM club. Lydia falls for a sadistic Dom after watching him scene with another submissive. She pesters Raven to help her plan on how she can play with Masque, the sadistic Dom.
James is the silence and all work type. Never lets anyone get too close. In his past he allowed himself to get close once and didn’t turn out so well for him in the end. James has a dark side to his private life that he shares with very few people, he’s a sadistic Dom, who loves making his subs cry.
Lydia must go on a business trip with James, she finds out he is the Dom of her dreams, one little problem, he does not do office romance. They must figure out how to work together and keep their play separate. Will they be able to have it all, together?!?
This book is extremely well-written, the author can certainly write and puts together a good story with great characterization. Jade’s writing is easy to read and captures the audience’s attention.
You had me at warning. Click! I can honestly say that there was one thing in the book that I’ve never read about before. I guess I can now check that off my reading bucket list. The story line was good. I’m not from the UK so some of the slang was different to me. Uh yeah, my reactions throughout the book…oh nice. Ouch. Yikes! WTF?! Well, you don’t read about THAT everyday. Awe. Overall, pretty good dirty, dirty book. People heed the warning, she ain’t joking around!
Oh my
Well. OK. So this was, umm. Yeah, wow, I’m still trying to figure out what the hell happened to my comfort zone because this book took it, crushed it, beat the shit out of it, and burned it. So, so, good.
