From New York Times bestselling author Cassia Leo comes a heartrending tale of all-consuming love, deadly family secrets, and overcoming unbearable loss.Jack and I had everything. Then in one brutal instant, the universe tilted on its side, discarding us into black nothingness. Now Jack is obsessed with revenge, and I’m desperate to leave the night of our anniversary behind me. When we’re not … anniversary behind me. When we’re not fighting, the only way we communicate is in the bedroom.
With nothing left to lose, I write a goodbye letter and head for my mother’s empty house, three hours away from Jack, where I quickly meet a neighbor who helps me find a job.
My new neighbor—handsome ex-soldier Isaac Evans—is complicated. Nevertheless, we form a fast friendship, bonding over a mutual desire to create something beautiful from the wreckage of our lives.
But despite the distance between us, Jack and I are still trying to make things work—fighting and playing dirtier than ever. And he doesn’t appreciate my new friendship with Isaac. Not one damn bit.

DIRT by Cassia Leo…was ADDICTIVE. I could not put it down until I was done. It was like no other story I’ve read before. Unique, refreshing, totally immersive and with plot twists that had me catching my breath over and over again.
Liked the characters, situation, story. Don’t like that the issues weren’t resolved.
Can’t afford to buy more books to find out whether or not there will be a happy or tragic ending. .
Great read! Couldn’t put it down!!!
The use of the continuous use of the f word shows lack of language skill. The story line was intriguing, with interesting characters. I realize authors are trying to sell books in series, but this book ended like you got up in the middle of a movie and walked out. Dissapointed
Way too much foul language and explicit sex.
very messy and immature writing
Dirt is so twisted, so complicated, so heartbreaking, so hot!!
I just loved it and read it non stop.
Bijoux is a box full of secrets. My feelings toward her are… let’s just say messy.
Great story!
Well I liked some parts , I did not like Jack he was a man that only cared for himself. I was happy and sad of the ending, but happy for the wife she is much better off. I would hope to believe she got the other guy. This store is a lessing to be learned when your gut tells you something it is best to lesson to it.
This book is a thesis on what happens to couples when they lose a child.
Loved the characters! They were so complex and true to modern day. This story has all the angles covered; love story, mystery, and fully entertaining!
Did not like the ending
Attention graber
Sad story plot, believable that they are unwilling to move on, but Isaac to fall in love in short few weeks? And she forms relationships while separated? Builds the plot however. Would like to see more realistic events in the book.
Good book but I wish there was a way to know the book was going to leave you hanging until the next in the series comes out.
This story is told over three books so be prepared to get the second one as soon as you have finished the first one and so on with the third. I couldn’t get home from work fast enough so I could start reading, it had good strong characters, a great story line, very realistic. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to get swept up into an outstanding story line.
Now I have to read Get Seed .. But I did like ending with Jack wanting a Divorce! Ps . Ya I left my Asshole..
I grew frustrated by the lack of character development of the neighbor and didn’t realize it was going to be a cliffhanger.
Can’t wait to read next in series
Too racy for my liking. Couldn’t handle so much smut talk and referring to the act of love making as F___ing. Sorry, too much smut.
First of a trilogy; wish I’d known. The tale of a couple surviving a traumatic loss, their individual struggles and the struggle to keep their marriage together. The device of switching from one person’s perspective to another’s is sometimes disconcerting, especially in the ebook format. There is also an attempt to add a raw sexual element that seems a little forced. Some efforts to help understand PTSD both in returning veterans and in traumatic life experiences. Some characters got the short shrift in development, but overall the trilogy was a good effort.
