Here are the things made me want to read this story:
-the story has an anamal in it (horse)
-the couple is older (I’m 28 but even i get tired of 20 and 30 somethings)
I enjoyed the story, Grant and Dinny was hard headed in the beg, i wanted to shake them (exspectally Dinny) i was like if she would just ask Grant then everything would be cleared up.
I never felt like DNFing the because there was a moments and or scenes that made me want to keep reading.
I do wanna read next one the series
What an outstanding book. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written, the characters tell an amazing story of love and regret. I received this book as an ARC with promise of writing a truthful review. I can’t recommend this book enough. Don’t pass up the chance to grab this book.
An excellent presentation of the importance of good communication in any relationship. A second chance for two characters who are good people who should have talked things through long ago but now get that chance to understand and continue to love each other. Beautiful descriptions of the horses and their care
I received an ARC of this book from the author, Hilary Walker, via Bookfunnel and this is my voluntary and honest review. This is not only a second chance romance for Dinny and Grant who were engaged and broke up 29 years ago, but it is an informative book on the care of horses. I loved reading this book and it was hard to put down until I finished it. The author paints a picture with her words which makes the reader feel like they are actually in the scene taking place. I especially liked the way the animals were a part of Dinny and Grant’s wedding. I highly recommend this book.
This was so good. Dinny finally finds the tragic truth of her failed engagement with the love of her life Grant, after her husband of 29 years of marriage dies and she learns to forgive herself and live. I really enjoyed reading about the care of the horses in this story. I never knew there are so much to worry about over these animals. If you like clean inspiring stories with some horse tales thrown in, I highly recommend ‘Dinny’s Challenge ‘.
What’s not to love about this book! It’s a well written clean inspirational story with just enough drama and suspense to keep you turning the pages. Another winner by Hilary Walker!
Thoroughly enjoyed this story. The well-written characters, some of whom show how a person can live by faith, are captivating. Love how well miscommunication is handled – reinforces Men are from Mars (we just think differently).
It is humbling to remember that everyone has weakness and flaws even when we don’t see them. Great vocabulary. I am not a “horse person” but thanks to Ms Walker, I have come to love them.
Good story with well drawn, complex characters and realistic events, a bit of suspense and an inspirational faith in action.

Dinny is on her way to the island to stand in for her friend who’s getting married, first checking on her horse with an eye condition. Love learning about this as I am familiar with eye conditions myself.
Not aware of anything when it comes to horses but glad there are options out there…
She gets a big surprise when she meets up with the wedding party…
Grant, an ex fiancee is the best man and the wedding goes off without a hitch, small but just what the couple wanted.
She prays to God often in this book as do others to find the right path to take. Love the transformation of one by the end.
She renews her friendship with Grant and is warned many times over from the woman he brought to the wedding to stay away from him and never come back to the island, like it’s HER territory.
She must not have gotten the memo and she enjoys Grant’s company. Til she learns the truth about her spouse did she realize what she had thrown away.
Love the action of the rescues in time of bad storms in the area and how others jump to the aid of horse or human.
Like learning of the treatment carried out and what it entailed along with what to expect and how the natural cures could be used for other ailments-just like in humans too!
Super love that this is not the girly girl story of a wedding that could’ve eaten up 400 pages of details and frilly things but a story of a mature woman and her friends.
Love the descriptions that are handed out as I can picture them in my mind, sounds, smells heat of the sun on your face.
End notes are included along with resources for help and why the author choose the method of treatment.

Received this review copy from the author and this is my honest opinion.
I read this book some time back and forgot to review it.
I really enjoyed reading it. It shows that people can be tricked by lies and do something they regret.
Dinny was engaged to Grant but a lie causes her to break off with him and marry his accuser.
After her husband dies she moves to Sinclair Island. They meet again at a wedding and Grant helps her with her horse that is going blind. Grant’s girlfriend is none to happy with them being friends again and causes a lot of problems.
You need to get the book to see how it all turns out. I can almost guarantee you will love it.
