Right guy in the wrong place at the right time, which sums up a lot of Jack Reacher’s misfortunes.
Lee Child calls him a modern knight in armor and that explain his popularity. We all would love to have a Jack Reacher cover our back!
Die Trying is the second book in the Jack Reacher series. It was an interesting read although at times a little over the top. Reacher is wandering the streets of Chicago when he witnesses the kidnapping of a woman picking up her dry cleaning. In a not so bright move the kidnappers decide to grab Reacher as well. Turns out the woman is an FBI agent and the kidnappers take the two all the way out to Montana where she’s held for ransom by a whacko militia leader. It’s an enjoyable read . Just sit back and watch Reacher.
One of the best books in the series, although there is no such thing as a bad Jack Reacher book.
I love the Jack Teacher series. The characters are real and he story line ALWAYS has a twist . It is well written and excellent character development
Usual Reacher.
Another good Jack Reacher story.
Great book
I always enjoy Jack Reacher. He always follows his moral compass and the stories are always hard to put down.
Like Koontz, I love a great Jack Reacher novel and Lee Childs always delivers. I am reading the very first Reacher story right now. Lee writes books that are hard to put down…. even after you finish it.
This is book number two on the Lee Child list, a reprint. I’ve read the first and several others at this point. I was literally captured by the intrigue and action in this story. I thought I had figured out the mole (OOPS YOU DIDN’T SEE THAT) but as the story winds and twists, more yet is to come. There is again, a strong woman who compliments Reacher.
This is a definite must read. I was definitely holding my breath as Jack is shown to have a weakness…
Love all the Jack Reacher books!! Need I say more?
Classic character. Modern western hero.
This book hit on so many of my reader cookies. It started me on a binge of Lee Child books, very satisfying.
