I absolutly loved Diary of a Wedding Planner written my Violet Howe. From the moment I opened this book up I could put it down so much so that I couldn’t wait to Start the next book in the series because I just had to know what happens next.
The story follows a single wedding planner who writes in her diary about everything that happens in her life the good the bad and the ugly. Some of the entry’s are hilarious and they keep you wanting more. I couldn’t get enough of Tyler story and was happy to find out the second book followed the same main characters. I can’t wait to find out what awaits Tyler in the next book.
9/10/21 – An easy to read chick-lit novel. I liked the premise of her being a wedding planner and watching/planning so many weddings but also trying to grapple with her own love life. I got angry at and cheered for certain characters and hoped the main character would make the choice I thought she would.
Diary of a Single Wedding Planner had me literally laughing out loud and groaning in second hand embarrassment for Tyler! This book is a romance, but it focuses a lot of attention on wedding planner Tyler while she figures out both her professional and personal life. The wedding planning parts in the book were over the top funny! The dating scenes were so awkward, yet funny, and brought up so many emotions. The ending definitely leads into the next book so be prepared to keep reading. Looking forward to the continuation of Tyler and Cabe’s journey!
Very original! I enjoyed reading all the stories about wedding disasters! It made me wonder about what it’s like to be an actual wedding planner. I thought the romance was cute and well-developed. Fun and quick read!
The first chapter was hysterical! I’m sorry that it was a bit of a let down after that. Still amusing, but not nearly as funny as the first chapter.
This was a fun read with well-drawn characters (I loved the co-workers and bosses, especially Lillian).
The wedding planner gig allowed for a fair amount of natural speculation on the nature of love and marriage which felt less preachy than such philosophizing often does. The wedding mishaps, however, were gold, occasionally making me laugh out loud.
All around enjoyable read.
Somewhat predictable with a feel good story. Good characters overall. Excellent wedding bridzella stories with very hilarious parts of the book. Overall a good read.
Cute story
In my opinion this was ok. I like it to move a little faster…
Light hearted and very entertaining. The characters are believable and realistic, as is the story line. Great beach, fireside or quarantine read. Looking forward to the next book in this series. Happy reading. Highly recommend!
When you have a great life right now but your past still haunts you. This book shares a little insight into facing your past but being true to yourself. Get out there and don’t let your past hold you down. but maybe write a journal about it so you can re-read your own love story
Pretty predictable.
This was a very entertaining book to read. The protagonist is a single young woman who works for a company that plans weddings. She wonders why everyone else seems to find their “happily ever after” except for her–especially since the man she was supposed to marry broke up with her and married someone else a month later. Fear not though, Tyler (protagonist) does get her happy ending, but she has to decide between her best friend (who just went through a divorce himself) or a lost love. The book is great as she goes back and forth between the two. You won’t be disappointed!
I loved the characters and the story. It was a fun read, I really enjoyed this book.
I enjoyed reading this book written from the perspective of the main character’s diary. Funny even though you can guess the final outcome.
Very cute book. Loved the characters and the story
Fun and entertaining, but sometimes poor grammar
Pleasant summer read
I am still reading this book and am enjoying it, worth reading for sure
Good book. Had a hard time putting it down. I ended up buying the rest of the series.
