From USA Today bestselling author Meghan Quinn comes a forbidden romance about an Irish rebel who falls in love with the wrong girl.Dear Diary, I might have gotten myself into a wee bit of trouble—and I’m not talking about the “court mandated community service,” or “therapy sessions from bashing a bloke in the head” kind of trouble. I wish it were that simple. Nope. I’m talking about the “falling …
Nope. I’m talking about the “falling in love with one of my client’s daughters,” kind of trouble . . .
The kind of problem I can’t talk my way out of when the truth gets out.
How I ended up with her phone is a long story—and when she called to get it back, I took things a bit too far. One innocent exchange wound up leading to so much more.
Fun, new, and totally immune to my charm, Sutton is different. And I had no idea she was the daughter of Foster Green.
Blame it on the dark colored stout running through my veins, pushing me toward one bad decision after another. Pushing me toward her even though I know right from wrong; even though she’s my client’s daughter.
Dating her might be the best or worst decision I’ve ever made. Only time, whiskey, and one more roll around the mattress with her will tell.
Roark
more
I have come to the conclusion that Meghan Quinn is the QUEEN of writing DREAMY men. Damn. Roark is one of a kind! I fell in love with him the first time “fook” left his lips and couldn’t stop obsessing over him until the last page (well, I am still thinking of him but that’s neither here nor there)… Every time I read a book by Meghan I feel like it is one of a kind. No other author has her flair for writing and regardless of the fact that I have read plenty of enemies-to-lovers novels in the past this book makes me feel like I read the genre for the very first time. Time and time again she surprises me with her witty stories, lovable characters, and top notch plots that leave me aching for more. This book has all of that and more. Diary of a Bad Boy is a must read for any Meghan Quinn fan and even for those who have never read her books before. You will fall into INSTANT love with this sexy Irishman and feel a deep love for his troubled character. He pulled at my heartstrings (his family life is not the best), and made me laugh out loud numerous times. Sutton- the lady of the hour- is just as sweet and lovable. I loved how her sass came out when she first laid eyes on Roark and how it didn’t go away! All in all, the two together are the FULL PACKAGE.
Diary of a Bad Boy has EVERYTHING I wanted in a book. An enemies-to-lovers trope (I love the angst and banter between these two especially when they are arguing), a sexy man with an accent that will make all romance lovers drool, a sweet and irresistible heroine that any man would be lucky to have, and an ultra sweet ending that had me smiling from ear to ear.
I think it’s pretty clear that I highly recommend this one. Everyone will fall in love with these two- I just know it!

There was so much more to this story than a steamy funny rom com.
This sexy read was a total feel fest, full of heartbreak and heartfelt emotions along with steam and snarky humor.
I could not put it down as the story between Sutton and Roarke unfolded. A misunderstanding and a mistaken switch of phones leads into a funny and passionate journey with surprising developments.
The writing was sharp, smart and on point. As the story unfolds we learn much more about Rourke and Sutton making it a complex story of love, acceptance and self discovery.
Both have demons that define their behavior. While there are scenes that are rip roaring funny, there were moments that were so emotional and so moving as we see how these 2 have coped in their lives and the results.
But does it define who they are?
What happens you just have to jump in and read. There’s so much more to this story and what’s affecting Rourke and Sutton and discovering how it develops was half the fun. The ending was absolutely precious! The chemistry and banter between Sutton and Roarke was combustible, sexy and hilarious.

OUTSTANDING!!! This book has it all.
A somewhat broken hero with an Irish accent. (God I just love those. When he says lass…. )
An innocent heroine with a serious spicy side.
Witty, sexy banter. Ridiculous situations that will have you laughing out loud.
You get some Bram and Rath – can’t get enough of those crazy guys.
But beside all that, there are some tender, sweet moments that just had my heart swooning and breaking. I definitely had some tears in certain places. <3
I have been waiting for Roark since Bran’s book and let me tell you: the wait was so darn worth it. I never thought this book would be as angsty and emotional as it was but man I loved that our hero was a little broken. Roark completely melted my heart.
In the beginning he was a real a-hole to Sutton but even then I couldn’t help but find him funny and liking him. Yet slowly, with every chapter in his pov and as he and Sutton got to know each other, he reveals himself to be some much more than the a-hole, funny and ill tempered guy who doesn’t care about anything or anyone. You can’t help but feel all the feels for him, love his brokenness and root for him to get help and realize his worth. Because he is worth so darn much and he deserves all the love in the world.
Sutton was perfect for him and she fell for him so hard (like I’m sure you all will too) and they deserved to get to live their love and enjoy life to the fullest without anything hoding them back. My heart really hurt for Roark whenever he doubted himself and felt that he didn’t deserve Sutton’s love; that part kind of broke me. I’m so glad that he, with the help of the people who loved him, realised that he did deserve to be happy and to be loved. I’m glad he finally put the things that were breaking him behind him and never looked back again. And when he got the girl, I felt that. I love it when he finally gets the girl. The ending was everything.
Roark McCool is one Irish man I will never forget.
Diary of a Bad Boy had me smiling, laughing and sighing the entire time while reading it, and I devoured it in one sitting. Roark is a short-tempered, broody Irishman, who works hard and plays hard, and he meets the sweet and pragmatic Sutton when their phones are accidentally switched. From their first text exchange, they constantly butt heads and bicker, but they’re also incredibly drawn to one another. They can’t seem to figure each other out or their own feelings, and this is just the beginning of all the fun to be had in this adorable, sexy and captivating romantic comedy. With its endearing characters, highly entertaining story and page after page of top-notch banter, Diary of a Bad Boy will definitely be on my best of 2019 list.
ARC provided, but this review was voluntarily and honestly written.
I love this book so much!! There is nothing better than a hot Irishman with a dreamy accent, chiseled body and smoldering eyes. Roark is brooding and intense, and the lively banter between him and Sutton is hot and spicy.
Roark McCool loves to drink, smoke and party all night. He is a very successful sports agent and work is all that matters to him. He isn’t looking for commitment and he doesn’t do forever. His parents were cold and distant which left him feeling unworthy of love. He didn’t need that special someone by his side: until he met Sutton. She was an angel with her beautiful smile, long blonde hair and infectious personality. Sutton was definitely too good for him, but that didn’t stop him from fantasizing about her and wishing they could always be together. Why did she have to be the daughter of his biggest client?
“Diary of a Bad Boy” is about finding love in your heart that you didn’t think was there, and believing in someone who doesn’t believe in himself. Sutton looked past Roark’s tough guy facade and found a thoughtful and caring man who deserved a life full of love. Roark let Sutton into his heart and she washed away all of his pain. This is an amazing book and I will remember these characters forever.
I knew when I read The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend’s Sister. I wanted to know more about that Irish devil Roark. And Meghan has come through yet again!
Diary of a Bad Boy is Roark & Sutton’s story and what a fun, steamy story it is.
Roark has a lot of scars from his past. His outlook on life involves whiskey, cigarettes, making money and women, in almost that order. He is dealing with the scars from his past in a none too healthy way, but it’s his normal until he is forced to change it.
Enter Sutton, a small town girl trying hard to live in the big city. Trying to expand her bubble when Roark comes and pops that bubble like it’s his mission.
This is truly a slow burn type of story and it’s wonderful! The connection and the chemistry between Roark and Sutton is ballistic and it was fresh to read the bit of role reversal in Sutton’s push to become physical. I can almost hear Roark’s accent get thicker when he gets fired up!
Roark’s diary entries are brilliant, funny, meaningful and thoughtful.
The secondary characters, like in all of Meghan’s stories are phenomenal and bring so much more!
This story is funny…I mean laugh out loud funny…wait till you read and you will see, if you aren’t laughing, something’s broke!
I am always amazed and entertained by Meghan’s stories! And even though you see past characters in this story, it can totally be read as a standalone!
