In the land of Wyvern where Dragon Shifters rule Kingdoms, there is a Peace Pact amongst Dragons and Humans. At stake is the neutral land co-governed by Humans and Dragons, known as The Borders…SERIES DESCRIPTIONWe are The Four Princes from The Four Kingdoms of Wyvern.Razor is the Red Prince from the Kingdom of RoseCliff.Jasper is the Green Prince from the Emerald Realms.Tar is the Black Prince … Realms.
Tar is the Black Prince from the Dark Forests.
And Flint is the Silver Prince from the Metal Lands.
We are princes one day who will rule our kingdoms in Wyvern. Right now, we are the Kings of Wyven School for Boys, a school known for the toughest training of rulers and heads of states to be in order to prepare them for the cruel, cruel world we know of, in the kingdoms of Wyvern.
On a typical day at Wyvern School for Boys, one student or another gets beaten badly, pranked on so viciously, that they end up seriously injured or close to death. It is the way of Wyvern. It is how kingdoms determine the next heir and successors to thrones.
It is a vicious game. One of survival. One of rules.
So when they let in Allotrope Free from some nowhere kingdom, we felt affronted. Assaulted with disrespect.
First of all, Allotrope is not a boy, but this girl, who is much too pretty and gorgeous to be in a school full of boys.
Second, she is the last thing anyone would think could be a ruler or head of state. She is an orphan.
Wyvern School for Boys is letting her in as a statement from one of our mothers, who is the ruling Queen of one of of kingdoms. Girls can grow up to become rulers too.
Kingdoms are at sake. Real wars are being fought. The last thing we need is a girl like Allotrope to make everything we stand for, a whole big joke.
So, when it comes time to eliminate a student at Wyvern School for Boys, Allotrope should be the first to go, and we Four Princes, will make sure she goes.

Call me Allotrope…Ally for short. When I received a royal decree from Queen Jade of the Emerald Realms to attend school at Wyvern School for Boys, I thought it was a prank pulled by my friend William who apprentices with me at the Blacksmith. There was no way I could attend such an elite school just for kings-to-be.
But it was a Royal Decree, and if I don’t obey the Decree, there was a threat of death to me and to all I hold dear, which probably means William and his parents, Bilbo and Kate, the blacksmith and his wife, the alchemist, whom had let me stayed with them since I became an orphan.
To keep them safe. To keep me from losing my head, I packed up what little belongings I had and enrolled at Wyvern School for Boys.
Everything at Wyvern School for Boys was meant to intimidate. Being the only girl at a school of incredibly handsome boys, especially the Four Princes, was intimidating.
Not to mention the cutthroat competition that literally cuts students from the school.
I’m stuck in a hard place…either get killed by defying the Royal Decree and also get everyone I cared for, killed. Or stick it out at Wyvern School for Boys, despite all the bullying and cutthroat games Wyvern has in store for me.
Of course, there is no choice…I must survive Wyvern School for Boys, or die trying.
Did I mention this is a school for Dragons, too? I just have to watch out for the fire.

I loved this book. I started reading it while on a break and could not put it down. The story is amazing, from the moment that you pick it up, you will not be able to put it down, you will be instantly hooked. The characters, you will fall in love with even if you do not want to. They will sink their teeth into you and you have no choice but too love them and the book moves along at the perfect pace to make this an enjoyable read. Not too fast nor too slow.
This is a must read, no doubt about it.
I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I got a copy of this book in the mail from the author. I was so ready to read this adventure. Ally and the four princes. She is the first female in an all male school for warriors. They keep pushing her, but she does not back down at all. She shows that she is strong willed, brave, and really smart. She says what is on her mind and has the heart and skill to back it up. I know this is the first book in a new series. I love the names of these books they give me good feelings.
Blacksmith Ally (The MFC) gets and invitation to Wyvern all-boys Academy but she cant ignore it because if she she does then they will kill her foster parents. Not only does she not want to be there but the students dont want her there either. Especially unwelcoming are the cruel princes of Wyvern – Jasper, Razor, Flint and Tar. All of which hate her and try their level best to get rid of her. With cruel pranks and bullying by the whole academy but that doesn’t put her off though and she proves herself strong enough to put with whatever they throw at her. Ally is a strong-willed, smart and capable character full of wit and stubbornness. I love how she doesn’t put up with any rubbish the students do to her. Im holding my opinion on the cruel princes for now because they have been complete A-Holes. Still a great start and im dying to find out whats going to happen next
By far my favorite of Rachel Angel’s books so far!!! It was really good.
I love the FMC, she was tough. Walked into an all guys/dragons academy and never backed down. It had a really good story line, easy to follow, and it was really well written.
Looking Forward to book 2!
This book delivers a truly tough as nails heroine who will do anything to make sure those she loves doesn’t end up hurt. Ally is everything I want to be when I grow up! She has strong beliefs in what is right and wrong, she loves fiercely, and she isn’t afraid to give as good as she gets.
Ally finds herself summoned to attend an all boys academy, and no one wants her there. The Academy is led by four princes who rule with a tight fist at this academy. They don’t like the idea of a nobody coming in, and shaking things up. Ally just wants to do her best and get through this year so she can move onto the next. She faces competitions that she shouldn’t have to face as a 1st year, but triumphs every time. She is picked on and bullied by everyone, and just when she thinks it may come to end another thing happens.
By the end of the book the boys are impressed by what she is capable of, and don’t really know how to handle her lack of breaking even when they give it their all. She is kind, gentle, and willing to help anyone who is in need without holding the bad against them. Bring on book two!
Fantastic Start!
An action packed and intense start to what is sure to be a great series about dragon shifters and their princess. Ally is an amazingly strong female character. There seems to be nothing that she can’t do. The cruel boys want her to leave the academy but end up falling for her instead in their own unique ways. But she teaches them that they can’t force her to do anything she does not want to do and that she is much stronger and more determined to succeed then they will ever be.
There was a lot going on in this first book but there still a lot of unanswered questions that I am sure the next few books will answer for us. Lots of suspense and intrigue with little twists and turns throughout. The characters are unique and interesting.
Unique world building and character development. Fantastic start to the series. I can’t wait for more.
I had been so excited for this book. Everything from the cover to the blurb had me hooked already and I couldn’t wait to read about Ally and the boys. It really did not disappoint and went way past my expectations of it. She is definitely strong willed and will not give up just because they want her gone and let’s them know exactly that! Really could not get enough of them and am anxiously waiting for the next book to find out what’s going to happen next with it all.
Rachel wrote such an amazing story! Seriously if you haven’t read this yet you need to its so good!!!! The characters are unique in the female nd is strong and independent and doesn’t need a guy to save her! Being the only girl in a school full of guys they make it their mission to get her to leave because she doesn’t belong. This is unlike another book I’ve read it was truly amazing!!
**** I voluntarily reviewed this book after receiving a free copy. ****
Oh my!! This is such a great first book of the series. You have an amazing FMC Allotrope Free. Don’t let the fact that she was an orphan fool you. Then you have the Cruel Princes Razor, Tar, Flint and Harper who are down right mean, but oh so sexy. This book is fast past, with action, a little sass and some steamy bits. This book will suck you in fast and will not let you go til the end and wanting more.
Well Ally is invited to attend Wyvern Academy for Boys where she meets the Princes. However, she did not have a choice in the matter, she accepts the challenge. In the meantime keep in mind she has rainbow colored hair and she hides her true form. That is until she finally got to her boiling point. Ally surprises me because she handles her own and the Princes are doing everything they can to send her home. She takes their bullying and rolls with it. She takes them all by surprise and takes a couple down like literally. She is one tough chick. The ending is mind blowing!! So be prepared cause I did not see it coming. This is another must read.
Sexy dragon shifter mates and a strong feisty heroine who has rainbow hair? It’s what sexy fantasy is supposed to be.
