S.S Richards makes her entrance into the indie writing world with her debut novel Devoted to You.
This novel was a fairly quick read. Liam and Alyssa are hot together. Billionaire CEO falls in lust with Alyssa upon first meeting. But as roles (boss and assistant) are revealed both fight the temptation and connection as best they could until the need becomes too much. The innocence and big heart of Alyssa had Liam falling in love.
I look forward to reading more from S.S Richards as she embarks on this new journey into the writing world. It will be a pleasure to follow her work as she hones her craft and as she gets a few more stories under her belt as an up and coming indie author.
Where do I even begin!!
I was hook from the start. My favorite thing when I get sucked into books within the first 5 chapters, this one got me in chapter 2!
I love me some Billionaire romances, I don’t know what it is about them but I just love them. I guess I love how mostly they are about the Hero learning how to be humble and kind.
That is what you get with Liam. I just loved him. I don’t think there was ever a point in this book where I hated him haha.
Then the sweet and kind Alyssa. Oh my heart how I loved her. She reminded me a lot of my own personality. I loved how she kinda found her voice and herself as well.
Overall this was an amazing book! This is S.S. Richards debut novel and she hit it outta the park!!
She definitely has a lifetime reader with me!

Alyssa es una joven, dulce, inocente, pero lo que más me gusto es que tiene un gran corazón. Me conmovió mucho su relación con su abuela, como se preocupaba por ella. También me sentí mucho en su piel en el primer momento de entrar a trabajar en su sitio y sentirte un poco “awkward”.
Mr. Adams es el millonario, sexy, alfa pero a su vez dulce. En muchos momentos se sentía perdido ya que sentía cosas por primera vez, pero lo supo manejar bien.
Al principio vi una historia romántica cualquiera pero después el suspense empezó a notarse y me encanto. Igual eche en falta un poco de trama en el final de la historia para aclarar las cosas, pero no estuvo mal. Estoy esperando volver a leer algo nuevo de esta autora.

“Devoted To You” by S.S Richards is the first novel by this new author. It is a contemporary romance with a bit of suspense, short and some moments that leave you some tears, or in my case. Being the first book, I enjoyed it and there were moments when I felt tense because of many situations.
Alyssa Thomson, 22, lives with her grandmother and is at the expense of getting a job to help her. When she gets the job of Liam Adams’ personal assistant at D.E. Adams Inc, she goes out to celebrate at a club with her best friend, Jason. There, a man keeps looking at her, and his friend dares her to approach him. But it looks like he’s not going to get rid of him, not even in his new job.
Alyssa is a young, sweet, innocent, but what I like most is that she has a big heart. I was very emotional about her relationship with her grandmother, as she cared about her. I also felt very in her skin at the first moment of going in to work and feel a little awkward.
Mr. Adams is the millionaire, sexy, alpha, but also sweet. In many moments he felt lost because he felt things for the first time, but he knew how to handle it well.
At first, I saw a romantic story, but then the suspense started and I loved it. Maybe I missed a little plot at the end of the story to clear things up, but it wasn’t bad. I’m waiting to read something new from this author again.

A virgin female protagonist. A jerk male protagonist. No plot. Another person who writes the same as every other kindle publisher. Bad writing. Boring plot. The title is a lie or the writer doesn’t know the definition of devoted.
Definition: de·vot·ed >>> very loving or loyal.
The male prognosis is the opposite. Although Devoted To You is very short. I DNF. I hated the male protagonist. Ladies, please don’t believe this is romance or love. He is not sweet or worthy of love. She’s spineless. Annoying. Barf.
Do the characters breathe when they talk?
I always bring girls into my penthouse, fuck them senseless, and make sure they leave before the sunrise, that way no girl would ever get the wrong idea of breakfast in bed or any of that lovey dovey stuff that I simply don’t do.
I found this read just ok for me. It was your typical billionaire/virgin scenario. I found it had elements that were similar to other reads. It was a bit repetitive in the beginning and just found some confusing parts, the main one that I found interesting was Liam’s eye color. It seem extremely important throughout the read but then he had totally different eye colors just took me by surprise.
I think it just needed a little more finesse and less of your typical billionaire similarities. The best was the epilogue..
Wow! Devoted to You is a great story! It pulled me in and held me captive until the very last page. I fell in love with Alyssa and Liam and was their secret cheerleader routing for them to get together.
