New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Tess Oliver concludes the heart-stopping, gut-wrenching Lace Underground trilogy in the final book, Devoted. She came. She conquered. She destroyed. How did I lose control so fast?I knew it was dark and twisted. Only, what I did in Lace Underground didn’t feel wrong. I’m dealing with something huge and dark and life changing and I have no one to … wrong.

The whole trilogy is amazing! Some trilogy’s lose steam by the last book, not this one. A must read
The final book in this trilogy and as scorching hot a read as the first two books. Does Detective Ten get her happily ever after? She absolutely does and thumbs her nose at the law by doing something you hope and pray she will.
I am voluntarily posting an honest review after reading an ARC copy of this book.
Best Seller! That is the only way to describe how I feel about Tess Oliver’s new trilogy, Lace Underground. Captive, Obsessed, and Devoted (books 1-3) truly had me from start to finish. I am having a hard time reviewing Devoted because I cannot go into the characters, as it will truly ruin it for you. I started off so heartbroken with Devoted. Devoted was truly gripping. My love/hate relationship with the characters in Captive and Obsessed had me turning a corner, and Devoted had me truly loving each one; yes, even Kane. Devoted had the twists and turns, ups and downs that Captive and Obsessed had, but it also was piecing everything together, you could almost hear the puzzle clicking into place through each chapter. One or all (not saying which ones) of the characters had lessons being learned, coming to grips with and being at piece with the past, and such heart break. My emotions were all over the place. The sex scenes were so deliciously described, and so very, very HOT. I really enjoyed the supporting characters of Captain Clark and Silvana too. Captive, Obsessed, and Devoted, the Lace Underground Trilogy are a must read. You literally do not know how it ends until the last three sentences. That said the ending was truly perfect. My heart was working overtime on this series. I was so heartbroken reading Obsessed and it continued to break in Devoted, but as Tess Oliver is so particularly good at, she slowly pieced it back together again. My only suggestion would be to block out a chunk of time to read Captive, Obsessed and Devoted because you will not be able to put them down. It is no secret that I am a huge fan of Tess Oliver. She is a one-of-kind author, and if you have not read any of her books, you really are missing out. The Lace Underground Series should be on the best seller’s list. Thank you, Tess Oliver, for the incredible series of Lace Underground.
Misunderstood, Blamed & Embarrassed. Can Angie Carry On?
Devoted (Lace Underground #3)
After killing the man she’s loved for years, Maddox, Angie won’t even look at Kane. She’s refusing food and everything he tries to offer her! Before she knows what’s happening she is out of Lace Underground & back with her team. he shut it all down and let her go. She’s in for another huge surprise too! She’s taken straight to Hospital then Rehab to wean her off of what ever was in Nectar!! For the Police the hunt is on, big time, for Kane while Angie recuperates and tries to gain her health & well being back!
While their were hurt feelings & bruised egos, Angie’s real friends & colleagues didn’t hold what happened against her – the higher ups, not so much, it seemed! She really struggled to come to terms with desires her time with Kane showed her. She’s normally tough & independent but she discovered she loved losing control in the bedroom, she found that hard to reconcile.
This was a good trilogy, it was intense and interesting. It wasn’t too dark. I found Kane’s backstory intriguing! I thought the accident was a bit pointless, it didn’t add anything to the story at all. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable read!

BEST ENDING TO A SERIES EVER!!!
Detective Angie Tennyson and her partner Detective James Maddox are secretly (not even admitting it to themselves) in love with each other….After Angie learns Maddox has requested a new partner and is newly engaged, she feels she has to get away…..Believing the secret organization is responsible for some recent murders, Angie goes deep undercover into Underground Lace….
Kane Freestone is a gorgeous, intense and controlling, “mad genius” and he has created and operates the organization, and he sees Angie, and wants his “Sweet Sin” for himself….
When Detective Maddox realizes where his “Ten” is, he’s determined to go in to save her….But, is she really in danger, and does she really need or want to be saved??….
(I realize this review isn’t revealing much, but you don’t deserve to have this series ruined with spoilers…you will be glad I didn’t do that…..)
After all she has been through, who does Detective Angie Tennyson finally choose to be? The tough and independent, “Ten”, Detective James Maddox wants back, or the compliant and worshipped “Sweet Sin” created by Kane Freestone?” And with whom does she want to be this person…You won’t know until literally the last page…Seriously, as soon as I read the last sentence, I just sat there, until I realized I had a HUGE smile on my face…
I also have to say “Bravo” to Tess Oliver for the ingenious “happy ending” at the bridge….The ending of this book allowed me to truly “have my cake and eat it too”…The Underground Lace Series is dark, twisted and oh SO good!!! I wish I was allowed more than 5 stars….
DO NOT ATTEMPT to read DEVOTED before reading Captive and Obsessed, books 1 & 2 of Lace Underground. Devoted is a perfect, amazing conclusion to a twisted roller coaster of emotions. Devoted is a book that will have you thinking back on Angie, Maddox, Kane and Clark. Asking yourself what each of them could have done differently to have changed or improved their part in the overall storyline. The characters were intriguing and well defined. Thank you to Author Tess Oliver for not forcing us to wait months in between each book. Our sanity couldn’t have waited for the continuation and conclusion of the allusive Lace Underground.
