With every page turning I got more sucked in in Arianas mind, her feelings, fearing, expectations and realities…realities?- you’ll see…
Enid Titan builds an completely new world seemingly without any resemblance to what we know. But isn’t what we know not only the result of what we want to know?
Isn’t sometimes the warmth you find in an cold environment warmer then an hot summer’s day in a cold one?
Thank you Enid!

This was a good story and my first sci-fi book by Enid Titan. I have never read sci-fi before, so I gave it chance. I found this book was weird at first, but I was entertained as the story goes. It was easy to read and follow. I like all the characters except Dhara. She was quite evil, but I was surprised about the twist at the end of story. I like Titan and Arianna very much. Their romance and relationship was interesting. Overall, I’m looking forward to read the second book and hoping I can find out more about the other characters. I’ll recommend this book and author.

I read the prequel and then this book. These were the first books I’ve read by Enid. I can say they were definitely original. This one was hot and suspenseful. Ariana met Titan when she was 7 years old in her small hometown. He said it wasn’t time but he would come back for her. When she was 30 he came back and kidnapped her. Let’s just say that she definitely had a rough time. Not only did she mate with Titan but was also shunned by his sister and several Devors. Not only that but she had to contend with a lot of crap from his sister throughout the whole thing to include some nasty garbage. Things got really intense. Overall they were great characters.
What I didn’t like was that she kept allowing them to not tell her anything. I mean I know in the beginning she pretty much had to do what they said but in the end they should’ve been more open with her.
I look forward to reading more from Enid. I received this as an arc for my honest and voluntary review.
I will never look at the color robin’s egg blue again without seeing…
Was she going crazy? What was happening to her? Where is she safe? Will all her questions ever be answered? They won’t tell her anything leaving her in the dark. This story is a good one. When Enid writes a story it pulls you in and you don’t want to put the book down. I enjoyed the book immensely and would recommend it to everyone. I received a free ARC copy.
Preserving the royal line
—>>> Review Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars – At the age of seven, Arianna had a strange encounter in the woods with a ghost-like stranger, for which she was not believed, owning it to her imagination. Now, at the country property once again, this time left to her after her father’s passing, she has another encounter with this mysterious man, only this time, this was no dream. Arianna finds herself kidnapped, bound, “enhanced,” spoken to telepathically, and at the mercy of Crown Prince Titan of Devor prime. Last, but not least, she was chosen to be his mate.
Things would have been simpler, on top of finding herself on a ship bound for Devor, but add to that the nasty treatment of Titan’s sister, Princess Dhara. She stirs up trouble because she is not accepting of a human for his mate, nor, it seems, is the rest of the Devorans. When Dhara crosses the line, Titan does the one thing to keep her safe: send her back to Earth, exactly what she was begging for. Her adventure does not end there, however, because she still has her uses.
For me, the first chapter explaining her childhood was a huge contrast to the intergalactic adventure depicted in the latter two-thirds of the book, and therefore, a bit disjointed, but we do get a sense of what family life was as well as the importance of her siblings. The Devorans treatment of her seemed in keeping of the elite ruling class, of a species which deems Terrans primitive beings. Overall, a very interesting first book of the Alpha Quadrant series! I look forward to reading where the series will take us from here!
I quite enjoyed reading this intriguing Sci-fi romance which is the first of the “Alpha Quadrant Series” The plot was well-paced & interesting although it was a bit slow in the beginning but as I progressed further into the story, it soon caught my interest & kept it until the end. The characters are fairly well-developed with complex personalities but I will admit that I was not impressed with the way the Prince (Titan) treated his so-called mate (Ariana) in the beginning & I found the sister (Princess Dhara) quite unlikable with her vindictive attitude/behavior although they all continue to develop throughout the story-line to become more mature individuals.
There is: an alien prince (Titan) abducts a young woman (Adriana) who is determined to escape by whatever means possible but she has no way to return to earth, various kinds of aliens, alien royalty, slavers, adventure, action, drama, intrigue suspense, twists & turns, deceit, betrayal, abduction, drugs, enhancements, threats, captivity, danger, devious plans, conflict, violence, escape, unusual friendships, visions, mental telepathy abilities, confrontations, compromises, contentment, some steam & a satisfying conclusion.
Great author and read. Blue Men with a lot more.
Ariana lived on a farm in the summer, her Pawpaw giving her mother a break for a few months in taking care of 7 wild children. Seven-year-old Ariana was walking through the mud, looking for critters and anything that caught her attention, when a huge man walked up to her. She had been taught to be police to adults, so she wasn’t afraid. He knew her name, and it sounded like he spoke inside her head. Then he apologized, saying he seemed to be “early”. He didn’t even look human and she figured she should probably run away from him. Her siblings did not believe her and teased her about the man who didn’t exist.
Years later, the man returned, not in person but in her consciousness. She felt him, heard him tell her he would be coming in two weeks. She was afraid to sleep after that, afraid he would intrude into her mind again. She felt like she had met him before; he was somehow familiar. And she started to feel like he was very real!
She realized she was kidnapped, not sure where she was. When she struggled, she was given a shot to put her out. When she woke again, the man was there and spoke in her head, insisting she do the same. He was 7 feet tall, humanoid, but definitely not human. He told her his name could not be translated into speech, so she could call him “Titan”. He also told her they were on the Devoran royal transport ship. They had “enhanced” her with some medicine and she would feel the effects soon. He was the crown prince of Devor Prime and had chosen her as his mate.
Things progressed as Ariana learned to communicate with Titan through her mind. He had a sense of urgency, saying they didn’t have much time. When they finally mated, the drug lowering her fears and inhibitions, he left the room. What would happen to her now? He hadn’t told her anything, hadn‘t answered her questions. But the mating had been successful and she was already pregnant. Titan’s sister, Princess Dhara, made her intense dislike of Ariana very obvious. Would she try to harm Ariana. Would she put her in real danger? Would Titan let this happen? Was Ariana just a means to produce an heir?
This is not a particularly warm story. I didn’t like the cold and hot approach Titan took when he was around Ariana. He got her cooperation through the drugs and not because he showed her kindness or affection. His sister treated her badly when she was there through no fault of her own. The reader is kept a bit uncomfortable far into the story line, so it was difficult to develop a good rapport with the characters. They remained strangers for quite some time. Not fully understanding the purpose or direction of the story left the reader not fully engaged. Though it finally did get better, it is not a book I would read a second time.
Breakout author to keep your eyes on!
I really enjoyed reading this story by Enid Titan. She is an author that you should immediately follow! This is a story that has very well thought out characters with in depth backgrounds. Fantastic world building, being that she has created whole galaxies, planets and beings. You will be brought to happy highs, dragged down to tears, excited and anxious as you read this story. If you wanted a quick generic read, this isn’t for you. This is a story outside the box. The only things that may be similar to other stories is the human female kidnapped by alien male, human female needed for breeding for alien species dying out, and human female and alien male falling in love with each other.
Ariana is one of seven children of a alcoholic mother, no father to speak of, who spends every summer with their grandfather in central New York on a lake. A tragedy befell the children with the death of the youngest. We don’t find out about how she died until near the end. None of the children became much of themselves and didn’t really stay in much contact with each other. When their grandfather passed away, Ariana inherited the lake house. From the time she was seven years old, she has seen, in what she thought were dreams or hallucinations, a very tall blue skinned male with white hair. He was always kind to her, but would say something like it wasn’t time yet or that he will see her soon. The first time it happened, she told her sister about it, but her sister thought she was lying to get out of trouble.
Titan is the Crown Prince of his planet and species. Something happened to all the females of his species so that they are now all sterile. As the Crown Prince, he has found the one being that is compatible with him to give him children. Unfortunately the first time he finds her, she is only seven years old. He has to wait for her to grow up and be mature. He checks on her from time to time, usually in her dreams. His people are telepathic, mainly speaking mind to mind. When it is finally time to retrieve her, he didn’t count on how he would really feel about her in the flesh and all the issues that having an alien mate and half-breed child will bring to the rest of his people. There will always be prejudice people out there, not just on Earth, and how far they will go to prevent mingling.
Fantastic story that stirs all your feelings. Looking forward to more stories by this author.

Salvation and Forgiveness
When starting this book the story had me kind of puzzled about how well it would be in the end. Starting off with the Ariana family kind of threw me in this story but kind of made sense by the end of the book.
Titan is from a planet called Devor and they are a race of alien telepaths that believe they are superior to everyone.
There are things that I want to tell you about this story but to do so will be spoiler and will ruin it for the reader.
Have to admit there is a tangle in this book that I would like to know more about so hopefully in the next book it will be address.
Overall, this book was an enjoyable read.
