My friend, Gemma James has put her Devil’s Kiss Series into a collection! If you like dark reads, check her out! I LOVE this new cover art! Lovely!
A bit too much for my taste. I kept wanting Gage to change but he just got worse.
It kept you on the end of your seat.
Very dark and twisted. Not for the faint of heart to read; left me shocked a few times. Emotionally raw.
Was a little too dark for me, but steaming hot scenes.
Dommage.
Loved the book
I’m conflicted. Honestly, while the sex scenes are pretty good and I think the author has an amazing talent in writing raw, honest emotions, I have to say that I kind of wanted the protagonist to end up with the brother. There, I said it. A lot of her relationship with the main love interest reeks of abuse. I feel bad for him because of his horrific childhood, but he always seems to take it out on her. And then rationalizes it because she ends up having an orgasm at the end (when he allows her to). I’ve read a lot of BDSM novels that are wonderful, but this one fell a little flat for me. I’m fine with punishment, but I was really looking for him to develop more and become more loving and a wee bit softer. That said, it will definitely appeal to plenty of other readers and I would absolutely read something else by this auther.
Main character way too controlling.
Good read but cliff hanger
I could not put this down – had to see how everything ended. Could not relate to female character at all though. As they would say, she had no backbone, yet struggled in her head with everything she was going through. All considered, a good read with decent conclusion/

Oh my goodness. What an awesome series. A must read
Hard to believe.
Oddly compelling despite how very twisted it is. Or maybe because?
