A baker who sees the dead. One too many suitors. And a killer. Living in Honey Hollow can be murder. A laugh out loud standalone cozy mystery by New York Times Bestseller Addison Moore All books in the series can be read individually but are best enjoyed in order. My name is Lottie Lemon, and I see dead people. Okay, so I rarely see dead people, mostly I see furry creatures of the dearly … people, mostly I see furry creatures of the dearly departed variety, aka dead pets, who have come back from the other side to warn me of their previous owner’s impending doom.
Something terrible has happened. And this time—it’s happened to me. I thought I was headed out to the lodge and the next thing I knew I was in a whole world of trouble. I need help and I need it fast. And if I don’t get out of this one—it will spell out my certain doom.
Lottie Lemon has a brand new bakery to tend to, a budding romance with perhaps one too many suitors, and she has the supernatural ability to see dead pets—which are always harbingers for ominous things to come. Throw in the occasional ghost of the human variety, a string of murders, and her insatiable thirst for justice, and you’ll have more chaos than you know what to do with.

This series keeps getting better and better…
Every time! Addison Moore is my hero. I really don’t know how she whips up these books in no time flat! Each and every time, I am completely sucked in and fall in love with the characters.
The Murder in the Mix series has become a favorite of mine! I absolutely love Lottie, Essex, and Noah. Of course another murder happens and Lottie is right in the middle of it. Lottie, Essex, and Noah are in quite the love triangle.
I am still hoping and holding out for Lottie to be with both Essex and Noah! Sorry … Not Sorry, but I cant decide between the two and Lottie loves them both. I am really interested to find out what happens.
Another fun installment in the Murder in the Mix series.
Lottie is dealing with her ever-evolving power of seeing the dead, and she’s always surrounded by murder. This entire series is fun and fanciful, and the love triangle among Lottie, Noah and Everett is great fun to follow.
In this book, we finally get to see some of Noah and Everett’s perspectives, which is fun to read, too.
Each of these books have a stand-alone mystery, so from that perspective you can read each independently, but you are much better off reading the entire series. They are all available in Kindle Unlimited, and they are all quick, fun reads.
Lottie Lemon is a baker who sees ghosts. Mostly ghostly pets of the most recently murdered people in Honey Hollow. With there help and that of two very sexy men will they solve another case. I loved reading from Everett and Noah’s perspective in this book.
I love this series so much and each book just gets better and better as if that were even possible! Lottie is up to her usual antics in this book with a side of devils food cake! You’ll love every minute of it!

The beginning!!! The middle!!! The FREAKING ENDING!!! HOLY SMOKES!!! Addison blows this book right out of the water!!
Devil’s Food Cake will leave you begging for Snickerdoodle Slaughter!!!
Do Not Skip This Book
This series is completely addicting, and this one may just be one of my favorites so far! Lottie is a force to be reckoned with she runs a baker, can talk to ghosts, and has a knack for solving murders. She can’t do that alone though. With the help of the two men in her life along with her family and friends, she takes us on a murder solving mystery. Addison writes a world full of old friends, laughs, interesting dearly departed, and puzzles at each interrogation. Each book can be read as a stand alone but I highly suggest you go back and pick up book one. This way you get the full impact of the characters relationships and can absorb your self into the Honey Hallow universe.
I really loved this book. It was so fun to have this book that was from Noha and Everett’s point of view. You learn so much more about what they are thinking and feeling. More so then what you do in the rest of the books in the series. Of course, Lottie is getting herself into trouble while trying to solve a murder yet again. She always seems to solve it but gets herself into a little bit of an issue as she is doing it.
You can read this is a stand-alone but I don’t know why you would because you will be missing so much of Lottie and the gang that you should really read them all.

Lottie had been kidnapped or she may have just gotten stuck in the bathroom in a seedy motel in Leeds. Either was she is more than happy when Noah and Everett come to her rescue. Now if only they could find out who has been sending the threats with those darn black cookies. There’s been another murder in Honey Hallow. It happened in a room full of cops and detectives and it still takes Lottie Lemon to figure out who dun it! I just love going along on all of her adventures. Between Lottie’s crime solving and her quirky love triangle I am always entertained!
I can’t, and I’m not sure I ever will, get enough of this series. I love the characters, the town, the story plots. Everything is just perfect for my reading tastes.
The author has written a series that brings to life some really cool elements, supernatural things that I love to read about. She gives each book a bit of it’s own stuff to make each one unique, but still manages to get them all to meld well by keeping a central story theme idea. Which, in my opinion, makes it a perfect series.
Honey Hollow is one of those small towns that everyone wants to visits and some dream of living in, without all the dead people, of course. LOL! If the characters were real I would definitely be going after Everett. Noah’s a great guy, but there’s just something about Everett that draws me to him. Lottie is a great female characters and I really enjoy reading about the sticky situations she continually manages to get herself into.
Devil’s Food Cake Doom is the perfect blend to this series and I look forward to reading many more stories about the Honey Hollow gang.
Very Interesting and entertaining story. It was great to get insight into Noah and Everett’s thoughts! Hope Addison adds more of these povs in the next book!

I loved the latest book from the Murder in the Mix series. Addison Moore’s characters are so detailed and life-like that you feel a part of the story! From romance, comedy, tragedy, and murder, this series is never boring. Lottie Lemon’s friends, family, and ghostly specters will have to come together to help Lottie find the murderer before she becomes the next victim. I’m looking forward to the next book as this ending was so suspenseful!
This book was absolutely amazing! Addison adds an all new feature to this book in the Honey Hollow series, Everett and Noah’s perspectives and it does not disappoint. This is my favorite book of this series to date because of that and the ending!!!! A must read!!!!
Lottie Lemon is the owner of the Cutie Pie Bakery in Honey Hollow, VT. She sees the ghost pets of the newly departed. This book has several surprises. The author wrote the book so that in several chapters, Everett or Noah, is the narrator. I liked that we were able to see what they thought and felt while they were in the midst of a difficult situation. There are two unrelated mysteries going on. Lottie keeps finding small black bags containing burnt, heart shaped cookies with threatening messages on them. She doesn’t know who is leaving them for her and the messages are getting more and more threatening. There’s also a murder to try to solve. At an event that Lottie bakes Devil’s Food cake for, a person drops dead. Can Lottie solve the murder and keep herself safe from whoever’s sending her the cookies? A final unexpected surprise happens at the end. Something that no one sees coming. Looking forward to the next book already!
