Hot bullies, busted cars, and the party of the year.On an endless loop.I don’t know how, but I’m living today over and over again.Every year, the town of Devil Springs holds a celebration known as Devils’ Day.There’s no magic, but there might as well be: we wear masks, we play tricks, we party hard.Every year, the students of Crescent Reform School party the hardest. They’re the lewdest, the most … hardest.
They’re the lewdest, the most wanton, ribald, and lascivious.
Why shouldn’t they be? Our ultrarich prep school sits in the middle of the woods, a place for wealthy families to dump their black sheep.
Except for me.
My parents sacrificed everything they had to send me to Crescent Prep.
I can’t let Calix Knight, Barron Farrar, and Raz Loveren ruin that for me.
They’ve bullied me for years, and I’ve never known why.
At least today, they have something real to be pissed about.
I crashed my shitty yellow VW Beetle into Calix’s Aston Martin.
And somehow, someway, I keep waking up at the moment of the crash.
I can’t undo it; I can’t run from the Knight Crew.
My mantra has always been: this too shall pass.
But not today.
Not the worst day of my life.
DEVILS’ DAY PARTY is a 150,000 word mature high school/new adult romance with enemies-to-lovers/love-hate themes. This is a contemporary story about a girl who lives the same day over and over again. Contains foul language and sexual scenes; any sex featured is consensual. This is a reverse harem novel, meaning the main character has more than one love interest. This is a stand-alone novel, meaning it is one, complete story with no sequels.

Life lessons
This book hits you with some deep life lessons. With an ironic name like Karma, the main character relives the same day over and over. This is a story of how hate can be love and love can be hate. It’s about the importance of living with intention.
This was not what I expected out of this book but boy did I love it! I kept trying to figure out this book all with the main character. Such a page turner!
I loved so many aspects of Devil’s Day Party!
Karma wakes up having had an accident and crashes her little yellow VW Beetle into Calix Knight’s Aston Martin. That is terrible, right? Well, the problem is it happens again and again because she keeps reliving the same day over and over again. And she doesn’t know why she is driving her car into his in the first place.
Devil’s Day Party is a Groundhog’s Day story in that Karma’s trying to change what she does, and she isn’t sure why she’s stuck in that day. She can’t figure out what is unique about Devil’s Day that she needs to relive it, but what is happening is that Karma is starting to fall for her bullies, as she romances them day after day.
I dinged the book a star because the heroes, Calix Knight, Barron Farrar, and Raz Loveren are rehashing previous characters she’s had in other bully books, particularly the academy stories.
Overall, I enjoyed seeing the evolution of Karma’s perception of herself and those around her. Her understanding of those she grew up with grows as she experiences these daily relivings, and Karma grows to understand that she plays an active role in these interactions even on the days she doesn’t act.
Great read
This book was a whole new experience for me I don’t think I have read anything like it before. While unrealistic It did however make me want to look at life with a different outlook. Also make me think about how I was living my life. Overall, very entertaining definitely a must read.
Forever one day with the effect of a butterfly. Ripples and waves, fragility and death.
Three knights within a crew all with a secret hope, a secret longing.
One girl surrounded by malevolence.
How can she change the outcome of the day she is given…
Wowsers I was prepared to lose myself in this but I didnt think I was going to lose both my mind and soul too!
Forget any other time loop film, book, tv show for this will ruin you for them all.
The darkness that shrouds the boys is mesmerising, as are they. I was like a predator and they my prey as I devoured this.
I couldn’t get enough of the stolen moments, and forever wanted more more more.
Karma and her journey is one I will not forget. Watching her come to life blew my mind. Just wowsers!
C.M Stunich has created something so uniquely amazing, and I’m glad this was my first read of hers.
I loved the concept behind this book! A High school buy romance where the Heroine is stuck in an endless time loop of one of the worse days in her life?! Think Happy Death Day meets Before I Fall.
This book delivers some seriously sexy but cruel bullies! Raz, Calix, and Barron are downright mean and have treated Karma like dirt for years. But what made this book a page turner for me was having Karma basically dissect each day and pull back the hard layers of each of her bullies. I really loved how she was able to uncover their darkest secrets and hidden Insecurities. Desperate to figure a way out to continue loving her life, Karma starts to manipulate the timeline by making different decisions and changing small details.
What kept this from being a five star read for me was the ending. Very….anticlimactic and I could’ve done without the epilogue honestly (which is surprising because I LOVE Epilogues). I don’t know, the ending just fell flat for me. But the rest of the book?!? Addicting and Soooo so good!
There’s blood all over my steering wheel
This was really good. I like C.M. Stunich’s writing but the whole high-school bully thing has kept me away from her recent work. This book’s “Groundhog Day” premise was interesting enough that I gave it a shot.
I like that this is a stand-alone novel. To allow for this it is twice the length of many romance novels, and it makes good use of its expanded runtime.
I like that the premise of one day being repeated again and again allows Karma’s relationships to grow naturally, and privately, with all the key players.
I didn’t like the resolution of this story, but it was well told and everything hang together satisfactorily, I just wish Karma had found a different path to get to where she did.
C.M. Stunich writes good sex, and there’s plenty of that here, but not at the expense of character development. Sometimes a “fade to black” moment is entirely appropriate to keep the narrative moving.
Recommended, if you’re down for explicit, angsty, polyamorous teen romance.
Can I give this book more then 5 stars. This book was crazy good. I love the idea of a time loop and once I started reading I didn’t want to stop. I absolutely the characters, I mean bullying is so wrong but in this book ugh you gotta love Calix, Barron and Raz. Truly an amazing read that will definitely at times pull at your heartstrings. Another phenomenal 5 star read that you absolutely must one click.
Dark, intense… Brilliant!!!
OMG I’m at a lost of words to express how f’ing awesome this book is, my mind is blown!!!
I’m still processing what I just read… I’m hurting, I’m a total mess #rollercoaster #intenseemotions
This book is BRILLIANT, is so intense, so dark, so raw… My entire being was inside this book while reading it… I was feeling everything along with Karma… such a beautiful soul, lost and broken, blind to her own flaws… Had to learn the important things in life and her own worth the hardest way, the hardest
But I also learned… I think all of us, readers, did… Such a strong message delivered to us in the beautiful form of a book
You have to read this book, it deserves more than 5 stars… Phenomenal!!!
Wonderful, unique take on the Bully Romance Genre. With her day constantly repeating, Karma has no choice but to start to re-evaluate the way she perceives her existence. The people in it and what they mean to her. I was blown away by this book. Bravo to CM Stunich for writing this incredible romance. This is a standalone, non-series book. 10 Stars.
I honestly was unsure of whether I wanted to read this book or not. I have watched movies where the characters live the same day over and over again, but reading about it…yeah, it really was not on my to-do list. But because I always end up loving anything and everything our lovely author throws her readers way, I knew I would end up reading it regardless. I am glad that I did!
Living the same day over and over again sounds super dull and not fun. I really did not want to commit to the story for the first few pages, but I am extremely happy I got over that and really sunk my hands, eyes, brain, nerves, heart and soul into it. It was worth that excruciating journey. And the ending makes you really want to appreciate life even more! This book really deserves every star possible.
5 stars for Devils Day Party by C.M. Stunich. This is a standalone reverse harem bully romance. Honestly, it has taken me a couple days to put my thoughts about this book together, and I still have no idea what to say. I have not read any other book like this one. It is an extremely dark book. This book has the whole Groundhogs Day thing going on. Karma must keep repeating Devil’s Day over and over and she is trying to figure out why and how to get it to stop. Calix, Barron, and Raz all have secrets and Karma needs to figure them out. Turns out that she has some secrets, even secrets she has not admitted to herself. This book has drama, romance, hate, suspense, and some steamy scenes. I enjoyed every second of this book, waiting to see what would happen next. It was a fantastic read.
I’m not usually into the time loop kinda stories but this one intrigued me in the Bully Me Anthology, so I gave it a chance. It has a really good meaning and lesson to be learned behind it. The characters are interesting and the story did keep me entertained. But after a while the repetition got kinda boring. I mean a month and half of the same day on repeat…that was a bit much. I think it was drug out a little further than necessary but the writing was really great otherwise. C.M Stunich is an amazing writer and I feel she just got caught up with where to end it.
