A perilous plot . . .

Devilishly Delightful
This story had humor, heat, a hint of suspense, and heart. I thoroughly enjoyed the banter between Gabriel and Pandora. There was passion and curiosity along with respect. Pandora’s intelligence and independent spirit spoke to me. Lord St. Vincent was confident, kind, and charming. There trust in one another blossomed into a magnificent love. I was enthralled and enraptured by Devil in Spring.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was very entertsining and great to see characters from a past novel I enjoyed.
I LOVED the story beginning with Sebastian and Evangeline, one of my many favorite LK stories. And watching Gabriel lose his heart and mind for Pandora was wonderful. And adding intrigue, danger, and possible more Ravenel connections – ooh, all the better. Onto the next Ravenel story!
I have enjoyed the Ravenels series tremendously! Although the 1st story wasn’t as exciting as the rest (so far), with a bit of frustration I’d say, it laid a foundation for Helen and Rhys’ story and briefly introduced the twins. Pandora is so cute, sweet, strong-willed, and independent. I have often found myself laughing out loud at her genius made-up words or brief moments of clumsiness which made her even more adorable. Gabriel is caring, compassionate, and somewhat overprotective of her. His personality is the perfect balance to Pandora’s. No doubt they’re one of my favorite couples (Helen/Rhys is another one!) I was also excited to revisit Evie and Sebastien, since their love story was probably the best in the Wallflower series. All in all, this series is so wonderful with lots of twists and turns, and I can’t wait to read West and Phoebe’s story next!
DEVIL IN SPRING is a standalone read with a HEA. LOVED this story. A young woman in London has no desire to marry but she gets involved with a dangerous rake. Their love story is classic. All of the books by Ms. Kleypas are great. They are historical novels set in London during a time when money and a title were everything. Most marriages were arranged, most of the time a younger woman finds herself married to an old man. But all the heroines find love with a gorgeous sexy guy in these stories.
If you would like to go back in time, you can enjoy all these stories. I highly recommend this story as well as all the others. I have read 32 of her books and they all got a 5 in the reviews from me. They are also memorable. I first read her story in 2011 and the stories and heroes stay with you. Good reads.
I was not paid for this review. I am not a writer nor do I know one. I am not kin to this author. I am a reader and this is my opinion, nothing more, nothing less. 7/31/19
This was my second time reading this book – and it was still great. Pandora is kind of in her own litle world and doesn’t want a husband. She only goes to balls with her twin because she thought it might be less boring than statying home. Doing a favor for a friend, she ends up compromising herself with Gabriel (who is the son of Lord St. Vincent from the wallflower series). Although she comes across as a bit clutzy and stubborn, you can’t help but love her in all of her quirkiness; and he is exactly what she needs. Again, this book has a little of everything – great characters, good story-line (including some dangerous political intrigue) and wonderful “bed sport”. Can’t wait to read Pandora’s twin sister’s story.
Anything written by Lisa is amazing! This book does not disappoint.
Absolutely loved the way the central character combined words to make new ones, especially when she was irritated! Made me laugh out loud! Also enjoyed the descriptive analogies and metaphors. Good writing here!
I have always enjoyed reading a book by Kleypas but this one was special. I loved the characters, and their unique relationship. Top 20 of the 500 romance novels I’ve read!
One of my favorite authors. Will read any romance by Kleypas, but my favorite are her historical romances. I recommend the entire Ravenels series.
This author never fails to provide an entertaining read.
Absolutely wonderful!!
I enjoyed this book as I do most of Lisa Kleypas’ books.

Really enjoyed. Sent me looking for more by this author. Which I also enjoyed.
Lisa Kleypas is an auto-buy for me. I love her characters and this story is no exception!
Great story and characters! Brilliant! I loved it!
Ms. Klepas writes in a witty manner, with her characters bantering back and forth. I had to chuckle out loud
Author has not only developed great characters she has also done some great historical research. I’m on my 4th book and every one has more great history, actual facts woven in. I am so drawn to this.
Buy the whole series. These go on the keeper shelf
