She’s worked for me for years. But I haven’t noticed her until now.I run my farm with an iron fist.I don’t care who I offend. My word is law.But I give her free reign in my office. Now a scandal has forced me to fire an employee.Operations are quickly falling apart.I need her help getting things back on track.Except I just walked in on her naked. And I can’t stop fantasizing about all the filthy … naked.
And I can’t stop fantasizing about all the filthy things I want to do to her.
But inappropriate fantasies are fine as long as you don’t act on them.
Right?
Devil is a steamy Southern small town, workplace/office, standalone romance and part of a series about a bunch of hot brothers. There is no cheating and it has a HEA. It’s not necessary to read the other books before this one.

Until next time… Happy Reading!
He is the only one in the family with red hair and he has a temper to match. He says it as he sees it and he takes no prisoners. His firm is doing well and he has two loyal employees .He sacks one because they did something he did not approve of. Now he needs help from her. Just one problem he walked in on her while she was naked. What will he do? Can he work with her? See what happens

K.D. Elizabeth’s “Devil” was a fun workplace romance featuring likeable characters and a fast-paced, engaging plot. It picks up where the events of the previous book in the series left off, but still works as a standalone. That said, IMO it would be better to read the stories in order for context on some of the events that take place in this one.
Peach farmer Axel King was known as the Red Devil of Ovid, Georgia because of his red hair and fiery temper, but was actually a good guy beneath his grumpy outer shell. He had a tendency to lose his temper and sometimes acted before he thought, but he never flew off the handle for no reason. He genuinely cared about his family’s farm, his five younger brothers, and his employees, even though they sometimes drive him crazy. That was especially true of accountant Andrea Medford, one of the few people who wasn’t afraid to call Axel out on his behavior. I loved Axel and Andrea’s banter and intense chemistry, as well as the fact that Andrea was so compassionate regarding Axel’s learning disability and struggles with numbers.
Overall, I enjoyed “Devil” and would recommend it for fans of contemporary romance and romantic comedy. I look forward to the next book featuring Axel’s younger brother Griffin.

First off – this cover is amazing! Wow! Alex and Andrea’s was the perfect follow-up to Monster! LOVED!! So sweet, but full of a ton of chemistry! Five Stars!
I’m loving this series of shorter stories told from the man’s point of view. In this second book, we meet broody Axel who dislikes most people except for his accountant, Andrea. These two have been in each other’s pocket for years before realizing their chemistry is off the charts. I’m excited for Griffin’s book next!
4 star review of Devil (The King Brothers #2) by K D Elizabeth
This book is Alex and Andrea’s story and although a short read it ticked a lot of boxes for me. Alex is known for his fiery tempter which matches his hair colour and yet there is so much more to him than just the colour of his hair.
Alex has s much responsibility and is struggling after he just fired his trusted foreman for unethical behaviour. Has he made the right decision or will it all come crashing own around him. As he leans on Andrea to help him the fire and passion between them will ignite.
Alex is such a strong person that he can be overpowering. Does he dare cross the line between boss and employee or should he deny the chemistry that is crackling between them.
There are some twists and turns that added to the story and I cannot wait for the next book in the series.
And the story keeps going! I love these King Brothers! We get to know Axel in this story. He is the oldest and has been in charge of the family farm. Axel is a stubborn, my way or the highway kindof guy, no one seems to get through to him but Andrea.
This story has a bunch of twists and turns, but in the end it’s a story of a boy and a girl realizing what’s really important. KD Elizabeth writes a story that will suck you in and not let you go. She gives her characters heart and vulnerability which makes them relatable and in turn makes you care about them.
There are a bunch of King brothers, we’ve met 2, I can’t wait to meet the rest!
Devil The King Brothers Book 2

I am loving these King brothers! The strong bond they share is so heartwarming and their constant banter is hilarious.
Axel and Andrea’s story is so sweet. It’s full of explosive emotions, scorching love scenes, and endearing conversations. Axel is a hot-headed, grumpy man, but you’ll be swooning over him by the end.
Devil by K.D. Elizabeth is the second book I’ve read by this author, and I hope to be reading a lot more of her, they’re very good books! I recommend them highly!

Alex runs the family farm. Yes he is redheaded and yes he has a temper. But people usually does as he says else they get his temper. When he fires his foreman, he now needs to rely on Andrea, his accountant more. But strange things are happening on the farm. And when he accidentally sees Andrea naked, well that changes everything. Now there is a sexual tension between these two. How can he handle Andrea and what is happening on the farm? Liked this story but Alex had to grow on me. But once he starts thinking about Andrea differently, his heart seems to warm up and he isn’t as grumpy as he was in the beginning.

Fantastic read, great plot and lovable characters
The Red Devil is such a headstrong hero and Andrea even more persistent heroine. I loved their interactions and how over the years they didn’t seem to be attracted to each other. One eventful afternoon and dynamics between them changes instantly. Will there be a chance for them to act on this attraction and undeniable chemistry? What if it is too late for Alex to try to convince himself and Andrea that being together even if being in boss employee relationship would work?
The story line paces nicely, there are some twists that surprised me. Plot brings a lot of action so there is no place for a boredom with those two. Story said from the hero’s perspective adds a little bit of mystery as to what heroine would think and/or do. Great hot sexy scenes and palpable sexual tension between main characters. And even grumpy Alex is very lovable character. Great read that kept me entertained. Can’t wait for the next brother and hope to see more of the family drama.
Good simple romance
I found the romance good, simple, but very well written with good characters, either quite direct like Andrea, or rough like Axel. He thinks after acting and, he regrets it often, but he does it honestly.
Axel looks after a large peach farm while the rest of his family works in other trades. He is authoritarian, and has annoyed a good part of his team when he returns a former worker who betrayed the company, but at the same time, because of problems of dyscalculia, he gets closer to his accountant, Andréa, who is just as tough as him. She has spent her time hiding her body so as not to be bothered by men because she is the only woman and when on a bet, Axel really discovers her, he is quickly disturbed by his attraction for his employee.
