Most fairy tales end with a happily ever after.
This is not a fairy tale. He is not her Prince Charming about to whisk her away into the sunset. This is a story about betrayal, lust, desire and, ultimately, revenge…
And revenge can only lead to one thing.
Tyler
He was my stranger, my visitor, my shadow in the … thing.
Tyler
He was my stranger, my visitor, my shadow in the corner of my room. He stalked me, watched me, knew everything about me. But all I could do was sit and wait. I waited for him to visit me night after night. He was becoming my addiction, my craving, my obsession. He knew every inch of me, but I knew nothing about him.
His calls himself Lotus and, as crazy as it sounds, I think I’m falling in love.
Dean
I wanted to take her, possess her, dominate her, and ruin her. I wanted to ravish her, please her, and consume her until I couldn’t take much more of her.
She will want me to kiss her. She will want me to hold her all night so that she feels a connection with me. I would make it so that she would seek me out in the dark. The one that satisfies her ultimate fantasy. A stranger who sneaks into her room. Someone who gives her the ultimate pleasure, but also seeks to give her ultimate pain. Pain she has never had to endure. Pain that will eat away at her until there is nothing left.
She was my nemesis, I was her lotus. And payback was a bitch.

The story of betrayal, lust, missunderstanding, trust, love and devoting.
So, I finished this book a week ago, but needed time to process my thoughts and feelings about it.
THIS BOOK WAS STUNNING. FANTASTIC. ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I’VE EVER READ.
It grabbed me from page one, and held me captive until I finished. I literally read this book in one sitting. I laughed, I gasped, I got turned on, a few times had to take a deep breath and remind myself that this is just a story. But it’s not just a book. It’s so much more than that.
Dean and Tyler. Childhood friends with the promise of first love. They are made for each other and they both know that at a very tender age. When Dean is 18 and Tyler just 16, he tells her he has to go away, but promises to come back for her one day. He never does. She spends her life preoccupied by her job, her friends and someone she calls “her stranger”, a mysterious person who seems to have all access to her life. Always in the back of her mind is Dean, and her wish that he’d return.
I absolutely love the plot line of this book. It’s so intriguing and unique. This book is full of twists and turns, heartache, love, laughter, and steamy sex. I’m still thinking about these characters a full week after I finished.
I highly recommend this book. I can’t say enough how much I enjoyed it. This is the first book of Jaimie’s that I’ve read, and she’s made me a fan for life.
Stronger than lover’s love is lover’s hate. Incurable, in each, the wounds they make.
The story is still on my mind, and I’m still debating what do I feel. There’s two parallel stories running in here.
There’s the passionate , stalker’s romance between Dean “Lotus” Scozzari and Tyler “Rosey” O’Sea. He’s been stalking her for THREE YEARS!
He comes into her house, moves things around , esp turns the toilet paper roll over to under, moves her car, eats her cookies , replies to her notes.
And yet she accepts the behaviour !!!!!!!! Why, because he’s actually her childhood first love -Dean, who left her high and dry one day. Just like that !
Then there a beautiful , oh so sweet connection story about Tyler and Jerry. He’s been fighting Lukaemia all his life in foster homes. He establishes a connection with her and that keeps going till …… it ends
The story reminds me of something I read long time ago ( my favourite btw)
Things unravel quickly in the last 30% and there are some surprises there.
The author’s writing style I love, the plot was good, surprises were great.
I just had some hard time digesting the fact that she was breath away with Dean multiple times, yet she couldn’t recognise him. They were 16 when they separated, the memory is pretty strong by then. Other than that , it was a really good .
You seek havoc, but all you’ll end up finding is despair
MUST READ!!!!
