Abused and rejected, Benella strives to regain a purpose for her life, and finds herself returning to the last place she ever wanted to see. She must learn when it is right to forgive and when it is time to move on.
The conclusion to the beastly tales! So good! Must read! Alex and Benella were amazing and took me on a journey of a life time!

It has to say a lot about this trilogy that I finished it in 2 days despite 2 jobs and a sick cat. I loved it. Everything about it. I am not ashamed to say parts made me tear up and cry a bit. Such a hard life and hard lessons to be learned. And a terrible road to have to travel to learn them. But in the end you know everyone’s journey went as it should and they arrived where they should be. Living life. Not striving or failing but living and loving. This was a heartfelt, heart string tugging conclusion to a story well told. One of my favorite renditions of beauty and the beast I have ever read.

It was a sweet and delicious finish to a brilliant adult fairy tale! Melissa Haag has a way of spinning a tale that takes you to another world and makes you want to live there. Her characters are filled with such depth that you even feel a little sorry for the ones you don’t like. There were moments that I found my heart palpitating to think that she would actually allow her characters to go through some of the difficult situations they experienced. But, there were definitely laugh-out-loud humorous moments too. The romantic scenes were tastefully done without being uncomfortably graphic, which couldn’t have been easy given the “beastie” appetites. I truly appreciated the fact that the entire third volume centered around the relationships after the curse was lifted. All the little nuances, Benella observed, made each character recognizable after being changed back from their previous state.
In the end, with all of the frightening circumstances and the lessons that needed to be learned, by each of the characters, it was a charming take on a beloved fairy tale. Welcome to the world of adult romance, Melissa Haag! I think, you’re going to fit right in!

MJ Haag has written an awesome adult version -Beauty & the Beast inspired story (that’s one of my favorite Disney movies when my daughter was a child). I really enjoyed this 3 book series. Would highly reccomend this series. I’ve re-read them 3 times. Some of my favorite books, & I don’t normally re-read books! Looking forward to more books from MJ Haag! Just couldn’t put these down, drove me crazy wanting to know what happened next…& wow, no disappointment for me! M.J. Haag can sure write a good story!

The Fairytale ending
While the end was a HEA, Something felt missing, I wanted more I still loved this book, this entire series was a unique retelling of a clasic with it’s original twists.

I am devastated this series is over! I love this series so much. I bought it both as E-books and hard copies. By this final book I was so hooked on the story I didn’t even want it to end. If you love fairytale retellings and can handle sexual scenes in your books, read this book! It is such a beautiful and amazing story. I fell in love with all of the characters and love the complexity of all of their relationships with one another. I will be rereading this series, as well as, reading more of MJ Haag’s work.

This was a killer ending to a fabulous serial and an excellent Beauty and the Beast retelling. I actually think the best part of this series is the fact that the third book gives you time to see how the Beast returns to the world of men and to see what lessons stick and where he still has a lot to learn. Still not a kiddie safe tale, but so satisfying!
