A mafia romance about love and loss by Rachel Van Dyken, the number one New York Times bestselling author of the Eagle Elite series.…When you awaken in the morning’s hushI am the swift uplifting rushOf quiet birds in circled flight.I am the soft stars that shine at night.Do not stand at my grave and cry;I am not there. I did not die.— Mary Elizabeth Fyre“I’m sorry for your loss.” I would rather … Fyre
“I’m sorry for your loss.” I would rather be tortured for an eternity than hear those damn words from one more person, as if Claire, my dead fiance, was a cell phone or car keys.
How about, I’m sorry your life is over.
I’m sorry you want to die too.
I’m sorry you see her in your dreams and wake up only to relive the nightmare.
I’m supposed to be the strongest of them all. Ash Abandonato, ruler, assassin, made man, brother, friend—instead, I hurt everyone I touch in hopes that they’ll feel even a sliver of the pain that bears down on my shoulders.
I didn’t lose.
It was taken from me.
And it’s all her fault, Annie Smith.
I daydream about her death.
And then I close my eyes, and I see her soft smile. I feel her touch, her kiss—it was a mistake what we did that night, but I can’t take it back, and now she’s under my father’s protection—my protection.
My worst enemy.
The woman I’m the most attracted to.
I can’t decide if I want to strangle her or kiss her, and now that she’s stuck in my life, my only goal is to make her feel the same loss I do and destroy her in the process.
I’ll trick her with my touch.
Seduce her with my kiss.
And in the end, when my enemy is at her most vulnerable—I’ll bring down an entire Empire and continue my reign as King.
Bow down, I’ll say as I bring the Five Families to their knees.
Blood in.
Never out.
Damned.

Destructive King by Rachel van Dyken is the third book in the Mafia Royals series. And OMG if you have read the previous books, you know this series is sooo good!! BUT let me tell you something… YOU ARE NOT READY for the amazing that this book is!!
I don’t want to tell anything about the book, so readers can enjoy it when they read it, but let me tell you something, the story is AMAZING, with some twists that you won’t see coming but again is Rachel and if you have read her previous book you know she loves to do that. That’s why i called her MY MAFIA QUEEN, because her stories are just so good that you always want more!
So if you love mafia romance, and RVD style this book and this series are for YOU!!! She always writes amazing stories with twist and situation that you won’t see coming. I’m so excited to see what’s coming next in this freaking good series!!!!
If you want a book that has you smirking one minute and the next feeling like your heart has been squeezed though an old fashioned clothes wringer, then this is the book for you!
Ash can’t seem to get over the loss of his beloved Claire. He drinks, does pills, rages at the world and blames Annie for being alive.
Annie has become a ward of the Abandonato family. She just wants to feel safe. After a trip to Italy, she comes back stronger than the mousy girl Ash remembers.
Despite their differences, there is an underlying attraction that everyone else can see, but the pair.
There is danger to this generation, someone is trying to kill them. There are secrets from both the parents and the kids. There are surprises that will have you gasping.
No one writes Mafia like Rachel Van Dyken. She is the Queen and I bow deeply to her genius.
Thank you to Rachel Van Dyken for the advanced copy.
I’ve been waiting for this book and boy did rvd not dissapoint, she completely smashed it out the water and set the bar for the rest of the series, ive loved Ash for so long, this is why this lady is the mafia queen, this is my favourite to date!.
Ash is grieving for the loss of Claire his fiance but he’s doing it in the abandonato way, with complete destruction, he doesnt care about anything or anyone, hes a ticking time bomb and it won’t take much to set it off.
Annie is under there protection, shes had a hard life so far and as far as Ash is concerned its only going to get worse, blaming her for Claire death he wants to make her life hell, to destroy her in the worst way possible, to make her feel everything and completely nothing.
I was completely consumed from the first paragraph, I love everything about book, I felt every single emotion, I cried, screamed and threw my kindle, I never wanted it to end.
This series right from the Eagle elite days and thier dads right up to now and everything else inbetween has been absolutely amazing, its a series that I xan go back and read again and again.
It will stay with me forever.
Blood in
No out
What a way to spend New Year’s Eve. This book hit my kindle and I devoured it, in 6 hours!! Yes, it is that good. I have to say that RVD has outdone herself with this tragic, mind bending, mafia destroying, heart breaking book. I was on the edge with my tissues waiting for the other shoe to drop through the entire book. With cameos from Chase and the OGs, I was in heaven. When the end of the book came, I sat for at least an hour just trying to figure out what happened. Talk about a book hangover, it has taken me 5 days to write this review!!!
*bows head to Rachel*
10 amazing stars
“Sometimes you never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory”
-Dr. Seuss
What an emotional rollercoaster this series has been.
Angst – Family – Violence – Betrayal – Courtship – Love
It’s not perfect.
Just like life isn’t perfect.
The characters are flawed
They stumble – They bleed – They hope
I think that is what makes each journey so significant
“You have. You love. You lose. And then you live.”
Ash is lost in a sea of anger. His world was ripped from his grasp. The other half of his soul and his unborn child were stolen from him.
In his darkness there shines a light
How dare she brightens his world
Lightens his misery
Forces him to feel
To question
To hope
“And just like the rain, I fell”
Annie just wanted to be more
More than “the orphan ” – the charity case
Her mother told her she would be safe here
She was wrong
This was a two tissue box read
The heart knows and Annie knew. Her life has been a warped version of hades since she could remember. She thought things were going to be different.
I loved how she stayed true to her feelings even when they were not reciprocated. Yeah, a touch stalkerish but like calls to like and all that. There were a couple of scenes that threw me for a loop emotionally, enough that I either squeaked out or gasped loud enough to garner the attention of others who were in the room
Wait till the why’s of certain events are revealed – Holy Schznick!!
The back and forth between her and Ash – that underlying chemistry that burned just beyond reach – Cosmic!
Ash was so lost like most survivors he was afraid if he laughed, hoped, or lived it would be a betrayal to their memories.
Instead of confronting his feelings and going through the steps of grief he pushed and pulled at those around him.
Created targets for his pain, even if the reasons were merely manifestations of his own – a means to expel his pain.
Now if the family can just reign him in before they are forced to put him down
“Perfect. Wonderful. Actual unicorns stampeded out of my a#* as I drove here under a double rainbow and waved at a leprechaun.”
That above is what makes this series so enjoyable. The mix of ,IDK, common – relatable events – with what we expect from a mafia read –
Blood blended with laughter –
yeah it is a bit outside of the norm but not impossible
5 Stars from Donna:
What a book, I don’t know where to begin with this review, I don’t know what I should or shouldn’t say. How I feel or don’t feel. All I know is that my emotions are still up in the air and I haven’t cried like this at a Rachel Van Dyken book since Elude. And I just need to say I hate Phoenix (not really) that big bolshy bastard always makes me cry.
This story is a total heartbreaker that has many shocks and surprises in store. What more do you expect from the Elite Eagles. Ash was broken to the point of destroying the world around him and Annie is just part of the collateral damage on his path of destruction. We see the lows and even lower lows as this book unfold and you are left reeling.
I will say no more apart from what I have said already. Just know it’s fantastic and you are so not ready for what’s to come. This book, series, and the author is a huge recommendation from me.
I don’t know how Rachel Van Dyken does it. Destructive King is Asher and Annie’s story in the Mafia Royals series, and it is extraordinary. Every emotion you can imagine is written between the pages of this book and will have you feeling them down to your bones. I literally read this book in one day and I can’t tell you how many times I reached for the tissues. Of course, the Eagle Elite OG appear with my favorite gangster Chase being front and center (damn I love that fictional man). Not to worry there is still more to come with this generation of mafia royalty, with the next book being Mafia King. Rachel Van Dyken is the author who made me fall in love with mafia stories and now I can’t resist them (of course hers is always what I compare all others to) 5-stars for Destructive King by Rachel Van Dyken.
Asher Abandonato has lost his soul mate, his one true love. Spiraling down Asher is ready to take everyone with him especially Annie Smith, the one person he blames for Claire’s death. Claire was Annie’s best friend and she loved Claire and Asher together. Now she wants to be there for Asher no matter how many times he pushes her away. Wanting something and being able to do something are two different things and when Asher goes to far with his hurtful words Annie can’t stand by and watch the Destructive King ruin his life and possibly hers.
Get ready for mafia romance PERFECTION, complete with enemies to lovers, bully romance, family ties, and so much ANGST!
Destructive King, in the Mafia Royals series by Rachel Van Dyken is an exceptional read, and my favorite in the series this far! It has everything you want from a darker romance, plus all the laughs and family saga goodness. I found myself completely addicted to every part of the story. Ash was chaos, pain, and destruction, while Aurora was all light, beauty, and kindness. Together they were absolutely amazing. One moment your heart broke for Ash, and the next you were pretty much ready to throw your kindle, but I adored their journey and the entire cast of characters!
A must read for lovers of mafia and dark romance!
*a knowledge of the series is beneficial, but not required to enjoy the read IMO
THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING!! I couldn’t put it down. All readers who have read this series know how destroyed Ash was after Claire’s death but what they didn’t know was how Annie was taking it all. In the other books, it appeared that Ash was using her as an emotional punching bag and while he was, she was trying to get through to him to save him. This book also showed more of the big bosses from the original series and now I know I need to read that series. Anyway, without giving anything away from this book just know that you have to read it. The sooner the better!
*I received an ARC for an honest review*
Our favorite Mafia Royals are back. Destructive King is fantastic. There are a few what the heck moments that I can’t wait for you to experience. This is the continuation of Ash’s story. He is still lost and in mourning. Then there is Annie and who is she. You find such a different Annie from when you first meet her and I for one loved the changes in her. Annie is so much stronger in this one. She is not afraid to stand up to Ash. We find out more of who Annie is and everything you are looking for when it comes to Ash. There is such change in Ash that you will still love to hate him and want to smack him a few times. Your heart will go through so much in this one so be prepared. I love everything Rachel Van Dyken throws at us in this one. Annie and Ash are everything. I couldn’t put this down. You need to one click this one.
There are Books that you are crazy about and then there are the ones that consume your whole soul , the books about which you think all the time and greedily eat all the crumbs the author throws at you about that said book. “Destructive King” was that book for me. So many years of reading books and I can assure you that I have never wanted a book as bad as I wanted this one! It would suffice to say that I had high hopes from this one and It stood up to everyone of my expectations! In typical RVD fashion , Rachel has managed to blow my mind and I can’t recommend this book enough to every Mafia Lover!! There is no way that you can call yourself a “mafia” lover if you have not read the “Eagle Elite” series first. It’s absolutely forbidden.
From the moment I read about “Ash” and “Annie” in the last book of the series , I knew their book was going to be one of my top reads and The anticipation drove me crazy! The storyline was amazing and don’t even make me talk about that plot twist. You guys just have to see it yourself but let me just warn you that this book was the best start to a new year that I could have had and it was a masterpiece in itself!
Ash was the son of the ruthless senator / Boss Chase. He was an assassin at the age of 12 and was known for his ruthless character just like his dad. But he had love in his heart too. That is until he lost his Fiance in an accident and that even changed him forever. She was the other half of his soul , the one who kept him calm. And Now she is gone so there will be destruction all over. And the main person caught in that destruction will be Annie. The girl who was responsible for her Fiance’s Death. The one who makes him want so much more all the while making him hate her. The one he is going to happily destroy until there was nothing left of her.
Annie had never had an easy life. An orphan , she was first abused by her adoptive parents and then by the others. When she met Chase’s family , she thought she had finally found her light and a family. And she had. There was just one problem. A gorgeous and cold problem. Ash hated her and he never left any opportunity to show that to her. She was ready to give him her soul but he never wanted that from her. So she left him. But now she is back. Being back Home after a year was making her nervous and so was her encounter with the man who still hated her with the same burning passion. And this time he had decided to complete the task that he left halfway last time. The task of breaking her completely.
Ash and Annie’s story was definitely an amazing mafia read and the author , as usual , left me reeling for the stories of the leftover characters. I can’t wait to know whose book and next and devour them too!! A definite recommendation to all the mafia romance lovers out there!
This is book 3 in Rachel’s Next Gen Eagle Elite series. You do not have to read them in order, but it enhances the read.
I knew from the beginning that Ash, who had lost his fiancé and unborn child, would destroy me. I was prepared for his uphill battle against grief. I was no prepared for Annie. She was quiet and innocent seeming in all the other books. Leave it to RVD to write a QUEEN out of someone you least expected.
“But how did you tell someone who used his anger as a shield to keep everyone out-that all you’d ever wanted was to be let in?”
Ash’s story was one that broke my heart in many ways, many times. He was a made man at 13 and loved the life he lived. He was angry, brash, and didn’t give a shit. He was a shell of himself after losing Claire. Watching him find himself again and the way the families reacted to him becoming human again was so well written. It was so real and raw and absolutely perfect.
“But sometimes, the girl had to save herself, and with my newfound freedom, I discovered I preferred that. Being my own hero. Straightening my own damn crown. I was better at it”
Annie overthrew a lot of heroines to reach one of my favorites. She was an orphan, who was unwanted by her father, and then was given refuge at the Abandonato house. Ash blames her and she feels the weight of losing her friend as well.
“Fallen King and his Orphan Queen”
This book had it all. Love, laughter, heartache, and all the plot twists your mind can handle. I will never look at DoorDash the same way again. I screamed at these bombs she dropped, y’all!! I can not WAIT for the next book. A great read, five Casa Nostra stars yet again. Blood in, no out.
Ash Abandanto suffered a loss that took away all his light. His reaction to the grief is destruction – to himself and those around him. Though she didn’t cause his pain, something about Annie sets him off and she becomes a target that often sets him off.
Annie Smith lives with the Abandanto family under their protection after her adoptive family was killed. She isn’t confident in her place in the house, but is also watchful and sees things others miss. After nearly a year away from the household, she returns a different person, stronger, more world-wise (or world-weary?) and ready to continue with school. She doesn’t expect to find Ash in nearly the same state she left him, minus some pills, but in the same state of grief.
I loved Annie. She is compassionate and caring, but also has a backbone when she needs it. Her character arc through this series and particularly in this story is incredible. She learns to handle the chaos and danger that is mafia life. When we met her, she was quick to tears and was Tank’s shadow as he protected her from much of the danger and threat. She is an orphan living under Abandonato protection, and this causes her to question her place in their lives. Through this book, we see her taking on her own battles, standing up to her fears and speaking out when needed.
I struggled with Ash. Because he is the titular character when I struggled to fall in love with him, I struggled to fall in love with the whole book. He is a genuine a******. At first, he is so consumed by grief that he doesn’t care who he destroys as he “deals” with his pain. But he isn’t dealing with his grief, he is wallowing in it, keeping Claire the focus of his pain and anguish and lashing out at anyone who stands in front of him. When he begins to see Annie, he is still clouded by grief and I felt like he went from not caring at all to being overprotective. As a reader, we know things about both Claire and Annie that made it hard to forgive some of Ash’s actions. I knew going into this that he would be hard to love, but I had also hoped it would be easier to find pieces of him to love.
The brutality and destruction of mafia life has escalated in each of these second generation (Mafia Royals) books. With the intensity of their lifestyle, comes intensely felt emotions. In Destructive King I felt like the mafia life was there and was as engrossing as ever, but there were also too many things happening that didn’t feel like they fit with the way this world has been developed, particularly several of the events at the end of the book. (I’m keeping this vague to avoid spoilers.) But I also loved seeing the multiple viewpoints (there are several chapters from Chase’s point of view showing a different side to some previous events) and the intense bonds between these families.

4.25 stars–DESTRUCTIVE KING is the third instalment in Rachel Van Dyken’s contemporary, new-adult MAFIA ROYALS dark, Mafia, erotic, romance series- a next generation spin off set in the author’s Eagle Elite world. This is heir to the Mafia empire Ash Abandonato, and student Annie Smith’s story line. DESTRUCTIVE KING can be read as a stand alone: you do not have to have read the Eagle Elite series but I recommend reading the FREE prequel novella Royal Bully for back story as it pertains to Asher and Claire.
NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be some triggers for more sensitive readers.
Told from three first person perspectives (Annie, Ash, Chase) DESTRUCTIVE KING picks up approximately ten months after the events of ROYAL BULLY wherein Ash’s pregnant fiancée was killed in a motor vehicle accident, an accident Ash blames on our heroine Annie Smith. In the aftermath of the death, Ash Abandonato’s life spiralled out of control, and Annie was sent to school in Italy in an effort to protect her from our story line ‘hero’. Fast forward to present day, Annie has returned to the Abandonato family fold, and Ash is about to make her life a living h*ll. What ensues is the acrimonious relationship between Annie and Ash, and the potential fall-out when the truth is revealed about what happened and why.
Annie Smith’s backstory is heart breaking and raw. She survived horrific abuse at the hands of her father and foster family, and in this she was one of the young women rescued from the horrors of the De Lange crime family. Best friends with Claire Petrov, Ash’s soon to be fiancé, Annie struggled with her place in the familywhich worsened following the accident that claimed Claire’s life. Annie is a strong female character but her place in the family, her proximity with Ash, is caustic and dysfunctional- I struggled with Chase’s (Ash’s father and Mafia head) overwhelming need to push our couple together but in this Chase is trying to save his son who is spiralling out of control. Ash Abandonato is a bully and cruel; no one is safe from Ash’s vitriol, and with Claire’s return, Ash pushes the limits of Claire’s ability to love. The back and forth, caustic attitude of Ash Abandonato threatens Claire’s already fractured persona but the twists and turns in the lives of Annie and Ash reveal secrets and lies that will expose the truth.
The relationship between Annie and Ash is tumultuous and stormy. Ash does everything he can to make Annie’s life miserable and yet our heroine continues to accept that Ash’s actions and betrayal are as of a direct result from the loss of his love. When we think that Ash has pushed a little too far, Annie all but walks away, only to return for more emotional and verbal abuse at the hands of the man with whom she will fall in love. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and familiar secondary and supporting characters including most of the Eagle Elite couples, the second generation couples and young adults, as well as FBI Agent Tank. Tank and Kartini’s story is next in Mafia King.
DESTRUCTIVE KING is a story of family, relationships, friendships and loss; a story of guilt and grief; of obsession, betrayal and vengeance; of twist, turns, secrets and lies. The premise is heart breaking, emotional and engaging; the romance struggles in the face of hatred, blame and loss; the characters are broken, battered but healing.
Whenever I sit down to read a Rachel Van Dyken book, I know I’m going to be in for a roller coaster ride and let me assure you, Destructive King was exactly that! I had to hold on to my seat because there were definitely twists and turns abounding in this one!!!
Ash is the son of Senator/Boss Chase and he’s been an assassin since the age of 12. He’s fully engrained in the life and he’s known to be ruthless and cruel. He thought he had met the love of his life, Claire, however her untimely death has caused Ash to spiral. He’s destructive and the person who is likely to get the brunt of that destruction is Claire’s friend Annie.
Annie is an orphan who has never had it easy. She saw too much as a young child and was abused as well. When she moved in with Chase and his family, she thought she had finally found the place she fit, but Ash’s attitude toward her was nothing short of hatred and he had no problem telling her that. She left for a year and spent time abroad, but now she’s back and Ash hasn’t changed one bit, or has he?
Things between Ash and Annie are anything but easy, however you’ll be captivated by their story and all of the twists and turns it takes. I thought we were going one way and we went a totally different way and RVD has a way of making you shake your head and go “did that just happen!?” You definitely should pick up this title and if you haven’t read the others in the Mafia Royals series, you should pick those up too!!
**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title in exchange for an honest review**
I am absolutely loving this series by Rachel Van Dyken. OMG what I went through emotionally during this story with regards to Ash and Annie was exactly what I love to experience when reading a book. If a character is hurting then I want to feel that too; if they are happy then I want to be sitting here with a huge smile on my face to mirror theirs. There were a number of scenes that had me drying the tears from my eyes, and I loved how much this book made me feel.
I sincerely hope that you don’t read any spoilers about this story and experience it as I have done which is not knowing anything about the journey I was about to embark on. I know that you will love every moment of this story. The emotional roller coaster that the author has us riding is exceptional as always. I adore Ash. I adore Annie. I was pleasantly surprised throughout this story and especially with Annie. I admire her immensely and I’m not going to say anymore!
I will never tire of spending time with the mafia families. I love the many laugh out loud moments in this book, especially when they occur when the families are together and the situation is rather tense. I know that Chase fans will be absolutely delighted with his contributions in this book. Scary Dad is close to many of our hearts after all!
This book is an absolute must read! Once in your hands you will need to strap yourself in and be prepared for one hell of a ride. I have been with these mafia families since the very beginning and I can’t help but have a soft spot for each and every one of them. Blood in. No out!!
I award Destructive King 4.5 stars as I did find myself a little lost during some parts of the book. Although this book can be read as a standalone, I feel that maybe refreshing my mind of the history between Ash and Annie may have helped. This is me though. I absolutely loved this story all the same!
This was a most anticipated read for me and boy has this author set the bar for the rest of the year.
This book proves why she’ll always be one of my top mafia go to authors, I could never get sick of them as each one has my jaw dropping with twists I never imagined.
This one was no different…
Whether you are new or old to the magic that is this author’s mafia, this book has something for everyone. But having read both generations, I found this one to be extra special…

Rating:
“Assassin. Mean. He was a god. King. Mine.”
The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance:

Story/Plot:
World building:
Character development:
The setting: Chicago
The Hero(s): Asher Abandonato – the enforcer in the Abandonato Famiglia. Ash is the one charged with the protection of the family, of getting their enemies to talk and with killing them. Even when they are family that want nothing more than to get out of the life, but that wasn’t allowed because they knew too much to be out in the world alone. He had is first kill at age 12 and by the time he was a senior in High School he had 30+ kills under his belt including some cousins.
The heroine: Annie Smith – after losing her adopted parents, Annie moves in with Senator Chase Abandonato and family (Ash is Chase’s son and lives in the huge pool house). Annie’s past is unclear but it seems that Chase knows something about Annie’s background and she is in some way connected to the mafia by blood.
The Love Story: In Royal Bully Ash met Claire and thought she was his soul mate. She later died in a car accident and Ash blames Annie for Claire’s death for some reason. Annie has always had a crush on Ash and tries to help him with his grief, but he wants none of that and eventually decides he wants revenge.
I really enjoyed this story for many reasons and I liked that the storylines had a lot of mystery and there weren’t obvious clues as to what those mysteries entailed. There was enough to show that there were mysteries, but not too much that we knew the answers early on. That was the one issue I had with the last book.
In this one there was the mystery about Annie’s background and another as to why Ash blames her for Claire dying. There is also a mystery about why Annie is keeping the fact that she and Tank (the Abandonato’s new recruit, an FBI Informant) have known each other for years and didn’t just meet last year at Eagle Elite University.
It is possible that some of these things were answered in previous books, but I have a terrible memory for minor details in books I have previously read (my age is showing). Not only that, I read over 300 books last year and I read the first two in the first quarter of the year, so it is hard to remember.
There were some more mysteries as well that moved the plot along, such as the stuffed white horse that Ash found. The meaning behind that in the mafia is “Rat”. Obviously we don’t think Ash is a Rat, but who does and why?
I usually hate books where Hero has a significant other that died. I guess because of all the grief and angst, but also I like the protagonists in a romance to find their “one” and not have had two “ones” if you know what I mean. I don’t mind previous romances in their past, because obviously the exes were never the soul mate or they would still be together.
That is just me though, my preferences and most of the time (like now) when I end up reading second-chance romances with a death of the ex, I end up not minding. In this one the grief Ash felt spurred on his feelings of hate for Annie, but he totally wanted her as well right off the bat, which made him hate her even more. I ended up liking the story and it made the passion between them whenever they were in the same room, so hot!
Lastly the humor in the book was great. This young blood thirsty mafia family makes fun of how ruthless and savage they are. They are all a bit crazy and the things they do and say are sometimes pretty hilarious. I loved it!
I voluntarily read & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.
Like father, like son? Ash self destructs after losing Claire. He terrorizes Annie who is also grieving the loss of her friend. Annie hits a breaking point & goes to Italy for 10 months. Upon her return, things really haven’t changed with Ash. Through the course of Ash bullying her, Annie can’t help but try to fix him. I love this book so much. My heart broke for Ash when he lost Claire. Seeing his progression through this story was heartbreaking and therapeutic. I highly recommend this book as well as the original Eagle Elite series. Of course you don’t have to read the originals to know what is happening, but it is an awesome series!!!
OMG!
Destructive King! The queen of mafia has done it again.
A riveting, unputdownable story that keeps you on the edge of your seat!
I was hooked from the very beginning. It kept me guessing, wondering, hoping….but in the end, you have no idea AT ALL!
There is just something about the story that captivates your attention. The characters, their blood thirsty reactions, their unique sense of family.
Every word, every moment strikes a chord. Their love for their family and the secrets they hold. OMG!
And then…..
MIND OFFICIALLY BLOWN!
This book may be about Ash and Annie. It is so much more than that. So very much more….
Just go read it. You know you want to. Blood In, No Out!
