Tic. Tock. So worth the wait! The pace of Nate’s story will leave you breathless. The way Jay weaved the first two books into the timeline was pure genius and the twist and turns? Gah!! So good. It would be impossible to tell you more without revealing spoilers—just know, this is some of Jay’s best work and a must read!!
A stunning end to a trilogy that will have readers talking.
I needed book friend support after reading Destructive. I had to discuss what I felt because I was left literally stunned. Unable to think beyond the words on the pages.
I didn’t think there could be an ending to this trilogy that would satisfy my heart and soul. Even while reading I was on the fence about the direction the story was going.
A turning point in the book left me stunned and afraid to keep turning pages, crying and bereft, I read on and WOW. I’m so glad I trusted Mclean to see me through.
This book is about an epic love story. Just like real life it’s not neat and orderly. At times it’s messy, heartbreaking and complicated. But just like real life, it’s worth it. The end justifies the means.
I don’t know where to start this book and series has blown me away but did i expect anything less from a Jay McLean book.
I re read the first two as i had read them a while ago and normally i don’t normally re read but i am so glad i did the experience for the third book made it so much more fresh and emotional and i was completely sucked in.
I must admit this was only one of a few books or series that i really didn’t know who i wanted Bailey to end up with i was in love with both guys for such different reasons but i don’t want to go into that as i think spoilers would ruin the experience of this book and everyone needs to go into blind.
What i will day is that even when you think things are going to go one way Jay McLean certainly knows how to flip it all upside down, also i must have more trust in her writing because there were times when i was so devastated because i was thinking one way and i couldn’t hang on and again she went another way.
I loved Tiny he was such an important character and he was just so loyal to everyone who deserved it and god there was one part that made me laugh, when he went into church and heard a voice say Tiny is that you and he said God is that you and i laughed so hard through my tears at that, and god i love him.
Everyone in this book except the bad guys i will never forget and i will never forget this series and it’s one of my favourite trilogies. There is one thing i will day is that when it comes to Jay McLean her writing is absolutely amazing and it doesn’t matter what the subject she knows how to write emotionally but with meaning and i will take a lot away from this book.
If you have never read Jay McLean you need to and if you have and you have read the first two books you will not be disappointed AT ALL
Perfect ending to this trilogy but i am also sad this story is over five stars
