My expectations were so high for this 4th and final book’s release that I was a little nervous digging in, and I am thrilled to say that Zaires’ writing (much like Peter’s insatiable lust and stamina throughout this quadrilogy) DID NOT DISAPPOINT in the least!! Forever Mine was everything I was hoping it would be: an action-packed, sexy, thrilling, satisfyingly angsty ride. My only complaint is that I’m left with a major book hangover and jonesing for my next Peter fix. This is a brilliant series from start to finish, and I will be rereading this quadrilogy again… and again… and again…
This. This is the type of dark romance I look for. It’s not a quick read -thank goodness!- and this allows for a full, detailed and developed story. From start to finish, this story develops, unfolds and builds while the reader is absolutely enthralled and dragged along for a hell of a ride.
Peter was the kind of amazingly complex character that I’ll be looking for, for years to come. But I know I’ll end up just rereading this series (this author) gleefully. Totally focused on whatever he’s decided to do, to take care of, to address. Tragically flawed, and unapologetic. The kind of character that stays with you.
Sara was wonderfully believable. Her push and against and resistance to Peter simply made sense. Written in a way that didn’t make me start to feel sorry for Peter. She was smart, wants TSTL, reasonable and caught up in something she never could have prepared for.
And then the story. Fantastic, somehow absolutely believable and so. Very. Hawt. This was amazing read. This series is well worth the time for fans of this romantic genre. And frankly, I can see as a possible introduction to new readers of the dark. However, that’s at your own risk and any dislike of the genre -not the writing or story- definitely shouldn’t reflect on the author or in the review.

I loved this book from start to finish. Peter is making a huge change and he’s in for a lot of work for that change to happen. So he can be with Sara without all the authorities after him. He wants a normal life with Sara. Well, as normal as a man like him can have. Peter and Sara finally get their HEA but there’s more! There’s a whole other book next! The epilogue in the book gives you an idea of what’s to come and based off that, I’d say no one is safe. Anna Zaires has once again hooked me and I seriously would love to get more of Nora, Julian and that baby girl Lizzie. I’d also love to see more of Yulia and Lucas!

Warning, though I try my best to avoid this, all reviews can contain spoilers of some kind. If you would like to know just my overall opinion of the book, and otherwise go into reading it blind, please scroll down to my overall and would I recommend it section.
I Voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from the publisher. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This book is amazing, however before we get into the review I want to start by saying this: In my opinion, dark romance is one of the hardest sub-genres of romance to pull off well. It’s really easy for a dark romance to have not enough of that darker side of love or way too much of it. Sadly, I have also seen many books put the heroine in a situation that she could easily get out of in several different ways. Any dark romance must also contain a good amount of intense love for that crazy burning desire to really come through for me. That’s why I truly think Anna Zaires is the queen of dark romance. Every book form her is on point, and this one was no exception.
This time, we come back into Peter and Sara’s story after the somewhat painful event at the end of Obsession Mine and emotions aren’t just heating up between theses two, they are boiling over. Our dark hero Peter, is at odds with his life. His need for revenge is still high, but his desire for Sara is getting stronger ever day. He finds himself at a stand still with his previous, admittedly horrible, plan to take even more of Sara’s control over her life and body away in order to keep her his and win her love. But, after the way things have turned out, how can he do that to her now? Sure he has the means to force her to do anything he wants, but he wants more. Now, thanks to a rather well timed email, Peter sees a way he can not only own her body and force her love, but also possess her every smile, every laugh, and each happy moment. He’s determined to have everything that makes his woman Sara, but will he survive it long enough to take what’s his?
Sara, on the other hand, is still fighting with her feelings, and it looks like she’s losing. She knows all about Peter’s plan for her, and it terrifies her. Yet, there’s still something nagging at the back of her mind, pulling her close to the edge of self control and daring her to let go and fall. Day by day, she gets more comfortable with her situation, however as her fear fades away a new softer side takes its place and warms her heart. Can the arms of a man as dark as Peter really feel so safe?
This book was really good. In the last two books, I loved both Sara and Peter but I saw more growth and change in Sara. In Destiny Mine, I felt there was a lot more personal growth and emotional feels with Peter. Peter’s heart is slowly filling the gaping void that was left by his past and wow is this guy amazing or what. There is nothing he wouldn’t do for Sara and nothing will stop him from keeping her in his life.
While there might not be any formal romance (chocolates and a trip to the movies isn’t really Peter’s style) the love in this installment is really cranked up to an eleven. I really like how Sara’s view of things is starting to change. Rather than having one moment between her and her captor completely change her perspective about the man who stole her away, like most dark romances, Sara’s attitude on the whole situation changes slowly over time, and in this book she is finally embracing those scary forbidden feelings. Taking the previous books into account, and thinking about all the things Sara and Peter have struggled with, this really gave their love connection an unbreakable foundation that had me swooning throughout the book.
As I mentioned earlier, this is still a dark romance, and the dominant violence in Peter is always there. His scary strong nature and determination is just as hot as ever, and while he wants Sara happy, there is still nothing he isn’t willing to do to keep her his. Honestly, this is one of the things I love most about these books and what has been done so amazingly well. The combination of love and dark forced possession just adds a delectable forbidden fruit kind of taste to this amazing romance.
I think the only thing that could have made this book even better is more moments of it just being Peter and Sara, but this is just a personal desire to see more of the two of them and does not take away from this story. The twists and turns this series has taken make the surprises in this book incredible. I couldn’t help but smile at the way this has turned out so far.
Sara and Peter are so well matched, it’s clear that they are meant to be together. The fact that Peter took destiny by the throat and made sure their fates were intertwined makes it all the sweeter.
Overall:
This is a fantastic third addition to this series. Peter is dominate to a hot extreme, but at the same time, he is powerful, smart, and scary. He will have everything that is Sara, no matter what it costs him. Yet, the man he is around her can also be gentle and above all else loving. Sara is the light to his darkness, that flame that thaws his heart and he is not shy about letting her know it.
I just loved this story, it was so well thought out, and Sara is the perfect heroine who is actually easy to relate to. She doesn’t suddenly become some kind of kung fu master or a woman who fits perfectly into this dangerous bloody world of Peter’s, she’s just your average girl, yet she holds herself together through everything. In this book, she sorts through her feelings and embraces who she is discovering herself to be, and that takes true bravery.
Would I Recommend It:
As always with a dark romance I can’t just say a flat out yes for this one. While I love the book and think it is a must read, I do need to say it has some tough subjects for some people. There are forced elements in this book in both the characters relationship and intimate life. At times there is also pain mixed pleasure. If these kind of things are a trigger for you, or they make you feel uncomfortable I would not suggest this series. However, if you enjoy that kind of thing than yes I recommend it to anyone who is into this genre.

I loved it. Anna did an awesome job with Peter and Sara. She began where she left off in the last book. Peter was better than Julian, and I absolutely loved Julian. I am loving this series! It is my third from this author, and most definitely my favorite. I like Peter MUCH more than Julian, and find he and Sara’s story more exciting than Yulia and Lucas’s story (although theirs was really good as well). It has so much more than a regular, boring romance- suspense, action, obsession, angst for days. LOVE it!
I love the cameos of characters from the previous series. I love the confusion Sara feels; how she questions her own feelings and, truthfully, seems to question her own sanity.
And that cliffhanger?! I was wondering how that unfinished story component would get resolved. Evidently in the fourth book.
Off I go to read the next one!

Assassin Peter Sokolov has been offered 100 million euros to eliminate Colombian arms dealer Julian Esguerra, the most dangerous man he knows. Under different circumstances, Peter wouldn’t even entertain the idea. Julian has sworn to kill Peter for endangering his wife in order to rescue him, he’s next to untouchable and his compound in the Amazon jungle the equivalent of a military fortress. And that’s why rival arms dealer Danilo Novak is offering that kind of money: because no one in their right mind would go up against someone so powerful and ruthless. The only reason Peter is even thinking about embarking on his plan is the beautiful Dr. Sara Cobakis, the woman he loves. Peter will do whatever it takes to give Sara the life she deserves, a life where he’s not a fugitive, where they can be together without her losing her family and career. When Sara’s mother is badly hurt in a car accident, Peter does the hardest thing he’s ever had to do … he takes Sara home. Peter tells Sara “No matter what happens, as long as there’s breath in my body, I will come back for you. You are mine, ptichka. For as long as we’re both alive.” But when months go by and Peter hasn’t come for her, Sara wonders if Peter’s lost interest in her but Peter’s last words to her help push away her doubts. And that means only one thing. If Peter hasn’t returned for Sara, it’s because he can’t. It’s because something happened. Will Peter and Sara get their HEA?
Anna Zaires and Dima Zales team up to deliver a thrilling, action-packed, and steamy story full of twists and turns for a book you’ll lose yourself in. I can’t wait to read Forever Mine, book 4 in the Tormentor Mine series

This is one gripping read from beginning to end and it is not a standalone. Peter and Sara have a dynamic relationship that has only gotten stronger the longer they are together. Sara is learning more about what she wants and what she is willing to do to get it. However, when a tragedy hits close to home, Peter must make a decision that could possibly alter the course of their lives. Adding to the drama are some other well-known players that readers met in The Twist Me series that make an appearance here. There is also a cliffhanger ending to bring about the next book which hints to a conflict between an old nemesis and Peter. I am on pins and needles to read the next book in this sensational series! Ms. Zaires has once again delivered a knock out read.
I volunteered to read an advance copy of this book.

Peter and Sara’s unique and dark love story continues in Destiny Mine! This was a highly anticipated book and I couldn’t put it down. Peter is obsessed with Sara and has accepted the fact that he loves her and can’t live without her. He is willing to do anything to keep her, even change his way of life. But he has many enemies, who are not willing to let him live. Sara can’t deny her feelings for Peter anymore but will she find the courage to express them and embrace her dark side? A dark, twisted and beautiful love story between two people who are supposed to be enemies but truly belong together. The book was a real page turner and the chemistry between the characters unbelievable! We also see Julian and Nora from Twist Me trilogy and I was happy to read about them! I can’t wait for Forever Mine, the fourth and final book in this amazing series!

5 STARS for Anna Zaires’ highly anticipated third novel Destiny Mine!
His obsession created us. . . .
The Tormentor Mine Series continues to blow me away with book three Destiny Mine (Tormentor Mine, #3). The story picks up right where book two left off with Sara in a private Swiss clinic, recovering from a near fatal car crash in Cyprus while trying to escape the Kents. Sara still continues to be ambivalent about Peter, and these mixed feelings for him are an important theme throughout the novel as Sara eventually faces her family and friends – who question her five months hiatus from her life in Chicago. Sara’s confusion over desiring her tormentor (and husband’s murderer) shifts as she gains further insight into what she truly needs from Peter:
I need Peter to be bad, so I can be at least somewhat good. I have to hate him in order to love him.
The dynamic of Sara and Peter’s relationship is thoroughly explored in this book and I really appreciate that the author took the time to really tackle the issues of their relationship as Peter contemplates how to provide Sara everything.
He understands, because he’s my dark, terrifying mirror, his cravings both inverse and parallel to mine. He loves me, he’s demonstrated that in the most vivid ways, but some part of him also needs to hurt me, to punish me for the pain of the past.
Even at the cost of Peter’s own goals:
I either take Sara, or I accept the deal […] I can’t have both.
I have been itching to read a captivity themed story where the captor must face the consequences of his actions by his civilian peers, and where the captive must resume her life as if everything has gone “back to normal”. While I can’t go into too much detail here, I can say that this story promises to deliver answers to a lot of the problems that were fashioned by Peter’s actions in book one and two. Peter is my favourite character and is a bit of a chameleon – integrating himself into other peoples’ lives while still maintaining his DARK “international man of mystery” status. While he is driven by revenge and has a domineering personality his obsession with Sara doesn’t cause him to react spontaneously, in fact every decision he makes throughout this story (over a long period of time… ) is calculated in such a way that will be advantageous for him and his future with Sara. Peter is willing to make sacrifices without truly changing his domineering nature.
“You need me to make it hurt sometimes, to take control and force you. To take away the other choices, so you can embrace the one you really want.”
Anna Zaires is a masterful storyteller who pushes boundaries and realistically executes key exchanges between characters that is most gratifying. The plot is tightly written and situations that create further complications for the characters are thoroughly explored. Ms. Zaires’ leaves no stone unturned no matter the problem and does so while keeping true to her characters!
I love the twists in this story! And I love how she crafts her stories in such a way that pushes her characters to their limits!
Destiny Mine will not disappoint! Expect a slow burn as Sara and Peter must deal with the realities of their situation. Expect a Julian-Lucas-Peter reunion. Expect things to get messy! Anna Zaire’s knows how to deliver a story!
Enjoy!
I voluntarily received this ARC for an honest review. All opinions shared here are my own.

5 Peterlicious stars
Remember, ptichka. For as long as we’re both alive.
This was my favorite book in the series. I have not always liked Peter Sokolov. But he finally developed in this book into a character that I ended up falling in love with. He will never be a normal man but Sara definitely needs him even when she cannot admit it to herself. There is a certain dark allure about his obsession with her. In a different world, they would be perfect for each other. But there is a blurring of the lines due to who Peter is and what he has done. A white picket fence and 2.5 kids do not really suit the type of relationship he and Sara have. And maybe that is a good thing. I really loved how Peter would do anything to make Sara happy. Of course, he will never let her go.
Anna Zaires is amazing at building up a dark romance that scrambles your emotions and makes you fall in love with a dark, beastly hero.
You might love a monster but does that stop him from being one? Of course not, but Peter is no ordinary monster. His past shaped him into who he is and he will not likely change anytime soon.
Sara had a normal upbringing in a normal family. But it is safe to say that she also has a bit of darkness inside her that draws her to Peter. She would not want him as much if he were a normal man. Their physical attraction is off the charts and their emotional connection is deep rooted in a way that is borderline crazy but it works. Peter and Sara will always hold a special place in my heart as one of my favorite couples in a dark romance.
I cannot wait to see how Peter and Sara’s story develops in the next book.

5 unbelievable stars.
Let me begin this by saying that I had not read the first two of this series. That, however, did not deter me from being able to pick up where the previous two books had left off. The author did an exceptional job giving just the right amount of backstory to not leave me in the dark. And also enough backstory to prompt me to go back and read this series in order. Now, that being said let me say that this book knocked my socks off. It was well crafted. The plot was ON POINT. Talk about suspense and anticipation. Good Lord. This author and the specific mellifluous way that she weaves her words is nothing short of bliss. Sublime bliss. I am truly in awe.
This book was more about an extreme situation and two unlikely characters finding truly unequivocal love (although that is a huge part of it), It is about finding love and light amongst the dark. Not everything is black or white. Sometimes it is in the gray area that someone can realize that it is okay to find love outside the box. She created a character, Peter, that is bad juxtaposed with good. I shouldn’t love him because of his actions but then I do BECAUSE of his actions. Quite the conundrum. The author then creates Sara. Sweet holy hell, Sara. A woman that is both a victim and a woman battling with herself. She has guilt, after all, what woman would fall for her Peter if they had also been in her shoes? The dictates of society and her family and friends would never understand. Yet, as she learns that sometimes it is okay to color outside the lines. He loves her and she loves him. The feelings are real. This isn’t the story of unrequited love. It is real. It is Raw. It is EVERYTHING! AAlso, this author knows how to give fantastic steamy moments. Sweet holy titfire. Their connection is off the charts. Then that ending… Sweet, holy Mary, Joseph, Gabriel, and Baby Jesus… I cannot even… Patience is not a virtue for me. I need babies and a HEA.
Highly recommend this book. HIGHLY! I would suggest starting at the first book, but if you don’t you will figure it out. I am intending to go back and rectify this right now.

I seriously loved this book, it picks up right after Obsession Mine part two. This was my favorite of the series. Anna, has once again provided one hell of a ride. There were so many twist with this story that I did not see coming in any way. Peter is still obsessed, devoted and has an undying need for Sara. This man has no boundaries when it comes to her. He will kill everyone in his path to keep her. I’m a prisoner to this series just like I was to the other two. It is must read, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

I’m absolutely in LOVE with this series. Anna Zaires has floored me with Destiny Mine the third book of this amazing series .I loved that the storyline draws you in and that its so hard to stop reading it, the complexity, darkness and sexuality will keep you riveted. I find the characters Peter and Sara very compelling and their love and passion for each other something to dream about. I can’t wait to see where the story takes us next and I hope I do not have that long of a wait for book 4. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to read a book that has it all, action, adventure and an amazing love story.

I can’t just loved it too damn much.
CAN’T WAIT FOR BOOK FOUR!
Destiny Mine is a dynamic thrill ride that you have to take! Leading you into a raw, brutal and so twisty world of right and wrong! Throwing your morality off kilter. Driving your body mad with pure fuel and desire!! Wanting and needing every fricken word to jump off the pages. GOD!!!! Consuming a bit of it like it was your last meal on earth and you need it to survive!!!
JUST OMFG EPIC!!!
