-Wow, this story was intense! I thought my heart was torn up in Dangerous Hearts but this second part of A Stolen Melody Duet was something else! I was not prepared for the “on my edge” suspense that gripped me and wouldn’t let me go.
Wolf knew Lyric was hiding secrets but as those secrets unfolded my mouth continued to drop until it was on the floor. Lyric and Wolf’s chemistry continued to be hot as sin but there was so much more beneath the surface that continued to build. I couldn’t get enough of Wolf and Lyric and their awesome group of friends. Just like all of KK Allen’s books, this is another one of those books that stick with me for a long time and I’m not even mad about it.
Destined Hearts was the perfect conclusion of the A Stolen Melody Duet.
The secrets and past heartbreaks were exposed unfolding unexpected turns and twists.
It was full of intense suspense and packed with action, and course with lots of love and heated encounters, giving the duet an amazing conclusion.
As always K.K. Allen wrote a phenomenal book worthy of all the stars.
Highly recommend!!
I couldn’t have been prouder of Lyric. Having those she loved most betray her, it’s hard to want to let anyone in. I get that all too well. She finally has something good in her life, and wants people in her corner. I love that she is standing up and refusing to let those that hurt her in again, and embracing those that are there for her. I’m happy that things come full circle for her.
I loved Wolf and Lyric’s story. I could feel their chemistry and connection. I loved that nothing could come between them. I fell in love with the words, and felt the love of music.
Oh my the first book was so good but this book was everything. With both Wolf and Lyric giving into their love and Lyric opening up to Wolf everything just got so much better.
I love that Lyric and her dad got a second chance at a relationship because you can tell they really love each other and Mitch and Wolf and Lyric working together just seems like magic.
Destiny and Crawley are absolute disgusting pieces of work. I was with Lyric the whole time there was just something about him that was not right. And Destiny she just stole the worst character ever award. She got what was coming to her though.
I love all the characters in these books so much. Like I said in the first review I’m glad I read after both were released I don’t think my heart could have handled the cliff hanger, that being said it would have been completely worth it for this book.
I knew this second part of the ‘Stolen Melody’ by K.K. Allen was going to be good, I just didn’t realize just how much I’d love it.
Wolf and Lyric are apart. He doesn’t know why she left, and Lyric needs to decide just what she wants. Her secrets were causing her issues, and she made some bad choices.
These two went through some serious times, the emotional roller coaster of it left me on the edge of my seat and gasping for breath. Will it all end badly, or can they have the true HEA they deserve. Find out in Destined Hearts today
Her actions got her removed from the tour but his actions left her wanting more. Lyric and Wolf live their lives under the microscope of others and once they stand together become stronger than when they are apart. In true rocker romance style the lyrics become what was important and what drives them not only to achieve stardom but what gives them the power to right the wrongs. Once you start this book you will not be able to put it down. With just enough emotion to keep it all real this was a great ending to a wonderful series.

Book two in the Stolen Melody Duet picks up right where we left off in Dangerous Hearts. K.K. Allen’s duet checks off a lot of things I like in a plotline. This Rockstar romance hits you with a roller coaster ride of emotions with a happy ending.
I had so many frustrations and questions when I finished book one that I need answers to. I was happy that we got to see some more depth to Lyric’s character. We knew she had problems with her parents, but we didn’t get any details. After book one I was annoyed and confused by Lyric’s actions. I cannot understand how she can be in love with Wolf and still not tell him what happened between her and her mom. I understand her being guarded but I didn’t understand why she didn’t want the credit.
I was hoping that this book would be more than just a love story on the road with the band and I got exactly that. This plotline has been written before and I was happy to see that we got to see more than just a love story. If you are looking for an easy read with some drama, then this book is for you!
Wow.
Lyric and Wolf are one of my all time favorite book couples. The way they effortlessly click while fighting against the world and themselves is just beautiful.
5 stars and a dangerous heart.
Destined Hearts is book #2 in the Stolen Melody Duet so you should read book one, Dangerous Hearts, first before reading this book. You’ll get a feel for the story a lot better plus it picks up right where Dangerous Hearts left off.
I discovered K.K. Allen through some of her most recent work. I will say that I can tell that this is K.K. Allen’s writing but her writing style has gotten better. I enjoyed the story of Lyric and Wolf, however, I feel like it could have been Dangerous Hearts could have been a standalone book without a duet. Destined Hearts fell a little flat for me. However, I still enjoyed reading about their world. It was just a lot of filler and Lyric’s “secret” just didn’t seem huge to me. The ending of this book took a turn I didn’t see coming so that was a surprise. There are cute and sassy scenes inside that will make you smile as well. All in all, it helps to complete Lyric and Wolf’s story. Also, I loved Lyric’s name. Lyric Cassidy. That is such a unique name!
All in all, A Stolen Melody Duet ranks a solid 4 in my book.

Wow. what an emotional, edge of your seat conclusion to A Stolen Melody Duet. We pick up where Dangerous Hearts ended, with emotions high and secrets that threaten to destroy Lyric and Wolf. These two have gone through the ringer to get where they are, but will the past and secrets keep them from their future? This story had so many twists and turns, half of which you don’t see coming. Lyric and Wolf pull you back in and take you on a emotional rollercoaster ride. I couldn’t get enough of these two and want more!
Lyric has a lot to make up to Wolf. They work through all of the issues and get to a great place. Outside sources start trying try to keep them apart. Great characters and storyline. Highly recommended. I loved the twists and turns and how through it all they had each other. Amazing Book
Book 1 left us with Lyric off the tour and she is pretty lost.
Meanwhile Wolf is trying to get back to who he was before Lyric but struggling to remember.
Lyric is fighting for a chance.
This was a crazy intense wild ride. Loved it
I’am so sad to have to say goodbye to K.K.Allen’s Stolen Melody Duet. This story has also got round me like the first part. I always thought that I would know what would happen. BUT no! K.K. Allen has written an exciting, action-packed story that I had dug my nails while reading it. ( but I didn’t use it!)
To tell the truth she was sick and tired of my messages wich I constantly had sent her.
I am glad to have witnessed that Lyric lets people into her heart who is important for her. She has gone trought great personal development since the first part, I’ am very proud of her.

I would rate 6stars for this book.. Amazing read
Wow! What a rollercoaster emotional book.
The story between Wolf and Lyric are just too good to be miss..I have been dreading.. excited.. hopeful to find out.. it was great…full of nook and cranny … effing hot hot steamy romance.. I need to blow some cold air everytime i read between this couple..the level of hotness just beyond the chart..
Lyric was scared.. running away from everything.. just to get away from the chaotic drama… emotional drained.. sick with the past which keep on haunting her.. Her fear of opening herself … Wolf who is the alpha RockGod..even a superstar has a weakness.. between Lyric.. his love with music … his love toward his Mother.. all wrapped up with the lifestyle…
Lyric and Wolf relationship are crazy.. full of emotion… too many hurt and secret.. can you forgive each other after too many mistake? I cant tell you how much their relationship can endure..
KK Allen.. you wrote a beautiful story.. I always looking one step ahead when Im reading your book.. between the twine of words.. each sentences were written so beautifuly.. there is an elegant side within the story..the love between Wolf and Lyric is epic..
I’m seriously fanning myself over this book. I may have found my next book boyfriend. 😉 Destined Hearts was phenomenal. K.K. Allen did one hell of a job tying up all the loose ends from book one and giving it to us wrapped up in the most gorgeous bow. To say this book was perfect would be an under statement. This book was so much more.
We delve deeper into Lyric’s past in Destined Hearts. In book one, it felt like there was maybe a few secrets being held back, but we learn there’s much more. Lyric’s past has always been something she felt defined her, made her who she was, something she never felt she could truly let go of. I can’t go into specifics, because spoilers.
K.K. Allen did a 360 in this novel. She added some suspense! It was there and it was something you definitely do not see coming. Hello twist! I loved this duet. Loved it. I’ll now suffer from multiple book hangovers because this was the last K.K. Allen novel to read. I’ve devoured every single one. K.K, if you’re reading this, I feel a novella should definitely be in the back of your mind for these two. Maybe even another book(s) about the band mates. Just a thought.
I loved this one even more than the first! Finished it in one afternoon as I couldn’t put it down. Would love to see the novella with a peek into Wolf’s and Lyric’s HEA.
We were left speechless after “Dangerous Hearts” ended. Wolf and Lyric had parted ways and it seemed things could not be fixed, and in “Destined Hearts” we see what happens next. The book starts right where the first one left off. Both of them are in a dark place, because it is clear that they are hurting since they love each other.
In this book we see a side of Lyrics that we didn’t see in DH: she’s always been closed to love and relationships after her previous delusions, but she is now changed and ready to move on and trust somebody again. Wolf wanted her to earn forgiveness, and sometimes I frowned at his behavior because I partially agreed with his reasons. It’s not cool to hide things to a person you love, but it is also hard to open up. He and Lyric had known each other for a short time (I mean, REALLY know each other) and confessing what you may be sad or ashamed of isn’t easy. There were times I didn’t like Lyric behavior’s either, but I realized where she came from.
This is a duet, so you obviously need to read Dangerous Hearts first. Thinking about the duet as a whole, I believe that I liked this part more, perhaps because of what happens towards the end. Let’s say I love suspense moments a lot, and this book had many more although I felt things were resolved quickly at some points. But what can I do, this is a book and it’s a Contemporary and not Suspense, so that is totally OK to me. I still liked it. 🙂 I’d love to read a book about Derrick and Therese!
This book is so good. Destined hearts keeps you wanting more. I loved this duet by K.K. Allen. There are some twists and turns that make it so good. Lyric and Wolf’s story is passionate and it draws you in full of heat and a roller coaster of emotions.
K.K. Allen has a way whit her characters that pull you in and put you in the moments. I wasn’t expecting the out come that come but it was an amazing read. This is all around an awesome read would highly recommend it.
Destined Hearts is the second book in the A Stolen Melody Duet and it continues right where Dangerous Hearts (Book 1) left off.
K.K. Allen did a remarkable job with this story and she had me hooked until the last page. This novel was a roller-coaster of emotion, including but not limited to anger, hurt, love, hatred, disappointment.
While this was the continuation of Wolf and Lyric’s story, the band members were also there along with a couple additional characters who all contributed to making this story so much more than I expected. I loved watching the progression of Wolf and Lyric’s relationship. It was fast paced and had me wondering what will happen next. Their chemistry could be felt through the pages of the book and it never once dissipated.
The plot was fantastic, with the intrigue, the angst, the twists and turns and most importantly the romance. I was at the edge of my seat for most of the book.
Best of all I loved the HEA ending. This page-turner was a great conclusion to this duet and a fantastic read.
