By Victoria Grant
5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the book Designing Love (The Calderone Family Romance Series Book 3) by Victoria Grant. It is a story that pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. I loved the characters of Caroline Winters and Charles Calderone. Caroline is intelligent, independent, and strong. She is determined to be the best at her job and that includes being the lead designer for the Calderone Industries office complex. She also has a no relationship rule. Meeting Charles has her rethinking that rule. Charles is a man who works for the family business. He is finding it hard to concentrate on the new complex, all he can seem to think about is Caroline. Sparks fly when they are in the same room. What does the future hold for Caroline and Charles? Will they successfully finish the office project? Will they end up falling in love? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had my emotions going up and down. I enjoyed reading about the bantering that goes back and forth between Charles and Caroline as well as the other additional characters that are introduced. I found myself caring about what happens to Caroline and Charles and wanted them to find happiness. I loved that Caroline is feisty and sassy and that Charles is someone who wants their relationship to work. Don’t miss out on an amazing story with wonderful characters. I highly recommend reading this book.
When you have one rule in life is “No Relationships” will a handsome man throw that rule right out of the window.
Caroline is a independent, strong, sassy woman who is good at her job so when she is asked to design a new building for her best friend’s company she jumps at the chance to prove herself and create a gorgeous creation, but when the VP Charles has been put in charge of the new project things are due to get serious.
Charles is the VP of Calderone business but when asked to oversee the new project for the new build, but when he encounters Caroline who pushes his buttons and is not frightened to tell him some of his ideas are stupid. There is something about this woman who frustrates him but is attracted to which is something he does not do.
This story is full of chemistry and steam, the two main characters are a great couple as they antagonise each other which is great reading. This is the first book in this series I have read and this does not distract from the story at all, this reads perfectly as a standalone book but would love to read the others just to get an insight into the other characters which pop up in this book.
I recommend this as a easy read, with hot scenes and great character interaction and a great well written story.
Designing Love is the third novel in the Calderone Family Romance series by Victoria Grant. This is my first novel by this author.
Caroline Winter has an architectural career with a rule of ‘no relationships’. That rule becomes complicated when she is chosen to be the lead designer of the Calderone Industries office complex and she must work with the owner’s son, Charles Calderone.
Charles feels Caroline is a distraction as she confronts him on every decision. What happens when professional and personal lives collide?
This was everything I wanted and more. It was funny, sassy and brought a smile to my face while reading. I was constantly laughing and could not put the book down.
I love a story where the main characters do not get alone despite having an attraction and how that animosity slowly changes.
I don’t read novels where someone is an architect so that occupation was refreshing.
Now I have to go back and read the other novels in the series. I hope we have another one.

Designing Love (The Calderone Family Romance Book 3)
by Victoria Grant
This was a sweet, funny, and sassy romantic read. When Charles and Caroline found themselves as best man and maid of honor and his brothers and her best friend’s wedding the attraction was off the charts. Caroline has a no dating rule because she wants to concentrate on her career and be the best architect she can be. Charles works for the family business and his last relationship didn’t end so well and he has taken a step back from dating. Caroline has a very strong personality and I found her to be very argumentative, unyielding, and she has quite the temper. Charles is smart, attractive and romantic and gives her a run for her money. I think their personalities balance each other out. I enjoyed this story and found it to be very well written. I have not read the previous two books and I will now be going back and reading those. I recommend this book.
This is the first book I have read from this author and she now has a new fan. I absolutely love a good slow burn romance but this author exceeded all my expectations. This is the third book of The Calderone Family series. It can be read as a stand alone but there are previous characters in this story as well. You can not help but to fall in love with these characters right from the beginning. I was hooked to the story line so much I devoured this amazing book in a few hours.
Caroline Winters is a very well known architect and she loves her job. Her number one rule is No Relationships. Caroline is so excited that she gets a job from the well known Calderone family. She is hired to design a brand new office building. Caroline’s rule is put to the test when she finds out that she has to work with the owner’s handsome son Charles. She feels a strong connection to Charles but she doesn’t understand what it is. Can Caroline and Charles put their differences aside and work together or will both of their jobs be in jeopardy?
Caroline is a career-driven designer with a no dating rule. She wants to focus on being the best at what she does and romance does not have a place in her world. When she is the maid of honor at her best friend’s wedding, she is paired up with the groom’s brother. Charles has put himself in a dating time-out since his last relationship ended quite badly. However, ever since his brother’s wedding he has had a hard time getting the maid of honor out of his thoughts. While sparks fly between the two, they are both hesitant to start anything when they both are trying to steer clear of relationships. When Caroline is chosen as the lead designer on the new building Charles’ company is building, will they be able to avoid the chemistry between them? Will they take a chance on each other or will they push each other away? You will have to read to find out!
While this is the 3rd book in the series, this book can be read as a standalone. Characters from previous books are a part of this book and I found myself wanting to go and read those books so I could find out their backstory. While Caroline is a strong and career-driven woman, she frustrated me at times with her constant need to argue over everything and get mad at the smallest situations. I recognize, however, that people are like that and tried not to let it irk me too much. I enjoyed Charles as he was searching for the balance between work, family, and love. He is a romantic at heart and I found myself rooting for him throughout the book. This is a nice romantic story that is also quite funny at times.
Designing Love is the 3rd book in The Calderone Family Romance Series by Victoria Grant. This series centres around the 4 brothers and 1 sister in the Calderone Family. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone. I didn’t feel that I was missing anything having not read the first 2 books but having enjoyed this one so much, I need to add the first 2 to my ‘to be read’ list.
This book starts with the wedding of the couple from book 2. Bridesmaid Caroline Winters is an architect whose Number One Rule is ‘no relationships’. Best man Charles Calderone makes clear in his speech that he will never be joining the marriage club. Will both be made to have a rethink when Caroline is hired to design a new office building for the Calderone family business and company VP Charles is put in charge of the project.
I have to say that I absolutely loved this book. As much as the attraction simmers between Caroline and Charles, when working together they do not see eye to eye on anything. Caroline is feisty and outspoken and damn good at her job so isn’t scared to tell Charles that she finds some (all) of ideas stupid and does so in front of all the staff. Some of these exchanges are hilarious.
What all this fighting does is build up frustration which they happily burn off in the bedroom. This couple are sizzling in the bedroom.
I adored the camaraderie between the brothers (and sister) and their better halves. The family spirit is amazing between them all.
I can’t wait to read the 2 books that I’ve missed so far and then the rest of this series. 100% recommend.
Designing Love (The Calderone Family romance, book 3) by Victoria Grant is a 4 star read.
Caroline Winters is an Architect at the top of her profession, she’s fought her way to the top not letting anything including romance get it her way, so when she’s selected as the lead designer on the Calderone Industries Office complex, her feelings are put to the test when she needs to work with the owners gorgeous son.
Charles Calderone is the Vice President of Calderone Industries, he knows what he wants and will fight to get it but when the new lead architect fights him on every decision he makes for the new building he finds that his professional and personal life are put to the test.
Can these two people work together or will their clashes lead to disaster? This was a funny, fast paced story that I struggled to put down, the author had me hooked from the very first page.
Wow what a rollercoaster of a story this was.
Caroline is a successful, independent woman with a growing job and 1 rule… NO RELATIONSHIPS.
That is until she meets Charles at her friends wedding and the attraction is too hard to ignore.
Charles is also a successful business man working in his families business. When the company need to expand Charles knows just the woman to do the design job.
Can Caroline and Charles work together as a team or will them both being headstrong mean its doomed. Also can they keep their private and professional lives seperate?
Designing Love (The Calderone Family Roo ppl mange Book 3) by Victoria Grant. This is a new author and series to me. I absolutely loved Caroline from the first page. The back and forth banter between Caroline and Charles will most definitely keep you entertained. While this could be read as a stand-alone book, I will be going back and reading the previous books in the series. I can not wait for the next book in the series and definitely more from Ms. Grant!!!
Designing Love (The Calderone Family Romance Book 3) by Victoria Grant. This was my first time reading this author and I’ll definitely be looking for more. This is book 3 but they can definitely be read as a stand-alone because there wasn’t anything that left me confused or lost in the storyline. The characters are complex and relatable, truly drew me into the world. I liked the sassy main character Caroline. The characters bring the story to life and I was hooked from page one. The storyline is well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Can’t wait to see where this author takes readers next. Four stars and highly recommended.
Designing Love (The Calderone Family Romance Series Book 3) by Victoria Grant. I love this series and this installment was no exception. Its the story of Caroline Winters who is a beautiful, strong, hard working architect who has fought her way up the ladder. She decided long ago that her career was way more important than relationships so they were off limits. When she is selected to be the lead designer on the Calderone Industries Office Complex she is beyond excited. The only problem is Charles Calderone the owner’s son and Vice President of Calderone Industries. He is gorgeous, artistic and very egotistical. Every choice that Caroline makes Charles wants to fight her on it and vice versa. Why won’t he trust her to do her job. Why won’t she listen to him, he knows what he wants. He’s no stranger to the finer things in life so she should just roll with his decisions. As they work together sparks fly both physical and emotional. Will they be able to make the partnership work or will they destroy both their careers in the process? Will they make a relationship work or will they destroy any chance of love? Read Designing Love to find out!
Designing Love (The Calderone Family Romance Series Book 3) by Victoria Grant
4 of 5 Stars
Designing Love, is book three in the Calderone Family Romance series by Victoria Grant and although some of the characters overlap, each book in the series can be read as a standalone story. This is a fun romantic comedy featuring Charles Calderone and Caroline Winters, Caroline is a blunt pragmatist who loves her job as an architect and has a ‘no relationship’ rule, and Charles is a hopeful romantic and connoisseur of all things refined as well as the Vice President of his family’s business. “Tempers flare and sparks fly as their professional and personal lives collide”, when Caroline is chosen as the lead designer on the Calderone Industries office complex, and Charles appears to question her every decision. However neither can deny their attraction for one another and their chemistry sizzled off the page. I loved the interactions between the two of them and the witty banter between them as they were in a constant power struggle. I liked how sassy Caroline was and how her obvious talent for architecture came across, Charles was a great character as well, handsome, charming and a bit of a control freak. The book is wonderfully written and I happily escaped into the Calderone family’s drama as it was a real page turner. I was cheering the couple on to their happy ever after, no spoilers, as I recommend reading the book!
4 stars!
Designing Love is book 3 of the Calderone Family Series. I have not read the other 2 books, and I was able to understand and stay caught up with this book, so it can be read as a standalone.
Caroline is the maid of honor at her best friend’s wedding, Charles is the best man for his brother in that same wedding. Their relationship starts off kind of rocky but slowly comes around to something beautiful. When Caroline is chosen as the architect for the Calderone family business, I was weary that it would go very well due to the budding romance between Caroline and Charles, and I was right to feel that way. I felt as though their fights were ridiculous and that Caroline would get mad and agitated with Charles for really small and trivial things. In the end I love how Charles stuck it out with her, was there for her for all her ups and downs including, a family crisis, an award, and all her many doubts. They both said they would never get married, Charles especially after he was turned down on his first marriage proposal to his previous girlfriend, and that love wasn’t for either of them, but I guess you never know how love will affect you.
The secondary characters were also a fantastic element to the book and meeting them, I look forward to going back and reading the first 2 books of the series.
Designing Love (The Calderone Family Romance Series Book 3) by Victoria Grant is a great little romance. Caroline and Charles feel the connection, can make the connection, but can’t seem to keep the connection. This is truly a story about opposites. Opposites certainly attract but can they stay together. If you like a sizzling, panting love story this is one for you.
Designing Love (The Calderone Family Romance Series Book 3) by Victoria Grant
4-Stars
Designing Love (The Calderone Family Romance Series Book 3) by Victoria Grant was a wonderful read. It had a sweet and upbeat tone to its storyline. It had an easy flow with a laid-back feel. I loved the characters and felt they were realistic and humorous. The various interactions between family and friends was entertaining. Charles and Caroline were both easy to like and I enjoyed watching the two interact. This was an enjoyable book!
Designing Love by Victoria Grant is the third book in The Calderone Family Romance series. This is a fun, romantic read about architect Caroline Winters and Charles Calderone VP of his family business, Calderone Industries. When she is hired to design for the Calderone’s will, the two of them be able to work together. I really enjoyed this light romance of opposites. Caroline is the one who work always comes first while Charles is a creative type. The story is nicely written and I enjoyed the characters. I had not read other books in this series diving in the middle of the series, but the good news is these can be enjoyed as a standalone. I look forward to catching more of the books in the series and more from this author.

I loved this story! I am fan of many genres but romance is my favourite and this kind of book is right up my street! I loved that it was just so easy to read, I could put it down and pick it up when I needed to knowing I would be right back into it straight away. I thought it was also one of those books that you feel like you’re watching whilst reading – almost like a movie! Although this is the third book in a series it is easily read as a standalone but I will absolutely be reading the first two in the series to find out more about the characters! Ahh Caroline and Charles! Ok so I think it was obvious they were totally meant for each other but I loved their journey whilst realising this! The banter between them was entertaining and I was rooting for them the whole way through!
Designing Love is a wonderful romance read that I would definitely recommend!
Practically-minded, brutally honest, Carol Winters is at the peak of her career and for the most part has avoided relationships by her own default. Her boundaries are tested when she’s chosen as lead designer for Calderone Industries and must work with the bosses’ son. He’s creative and handsome but he’s intervening with her work.
Charles Calderone is an expert at the finer things in life but doesn’t want to settle for just a job when his knowledge expands further than just that. Being VP at the family’s firm is challenging (to say the least) but he’s got his sights on an architect. As she is gorgeous and gifted, but she annoys the hell out of him by bugging him to consult on every design decision!
The more heated their arguments get, the more they learn to like one another but their worlds entwine sooner than later. They have to wiggle through their madness to find common ground but will they? Or will both their careers be lost because of this?
I found that this book was sweet, romantic and unpredictable. The tit for tat battle these two create for themselves make the book playful. Their work relations make it more adult and I found it very intriguing to read. I loved this pleasant read!
