Maggie Winters is on the cusp of all her dreams coming true. She’s worked for years as a budding fashion designer, and her brand new boutique could be just what she needs to finally make her mark in her small town. What she doesn’t need is an arrogant big-city-guy like Jason Briggs coming in and taking over her carefully laid plans—even if he holds the key to making her new venture a success. … After all, he’s a cutthroat businessman who couldn’t possibly appreciate the quirkiness that makes her designs unique. And Maggie’s learned the hard way that men in the industry simply can’t be trusted.
Jason Briggs may be the sought-after CEO of a media conglomerate, but not many people know the story of his rapid rise to the top and he likes it that way. His past is shrouded in mystery. But that past quickly resurfaces when he comes to Willow Valley and finds himself face to face with Maggie—who played more of a role in the man he became then she could possibly imagine. Especially since she doesn’t seem to recognize him as the shy young boy she knew once upon a time.
When Maggie begins to unravel the truth of Jason’s past, will she finally open her heart again? Or will the secrets she uncovers destroy everything she’s ever wanted?

The good character and storyline development grabbed my attention from the very beginning and the chemistry between Jason and Maggie kept me totally engaged throughout the entire book!
I received an ARC of this book from the author, Christine Kingsley, and this is my voluntary and honest review. I loved this romantic story about Jason and Maggie. They met when they were teens not knowing that ten years later that would be the beginning of their love story. They had trust issues they had to overcome if their love was going to survive. Even though this book is part of a series, it is a standalone, and I highly recommend it.
Maggie is a fashion designer whose dream of opening a boutique is about to come true. Jason is not only a fashion design, but he runs a fashion magazine and was inspired by a dress she designed and is interested in featuring her in his magazine.
As they spend time together Jason realizes that he wants them to be partners both personally and professionally, but will the machinations of others destroy the relationship that they have building?
This is a heartwarming story about love and family that doesn’t disappoint.
A well written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start. This is about Maggie a fashion designer who has to over come a wrong against her. And Jason who has a fashion magazine who wants to run a section of Maggie’s fashions. They both have struggles that they work through and family is there for support.
This was a cute romance. I loved that Jason and Maggie met when they were teens and bonded over their love of drawing. He’s very successful for someone so young. And she’s done well for herself too with the support of her family. It was great to catch up with the rest of the Winters’ siblings and the sisters as usual were meddling in a loving way and so funny. His cousins who own the resort in the Rockies would fit right in with the Winters’ family with their bantering and support. I wish I could plan a trip and visit these fictional places where people are nice and welcoming. There was plenty of humor and sweet sexy romance in this latest installment from the Willow Valley series.
Loved this emotionally thrilling, heartwarming and engaging journey filled with exciting charters, witty banter and undeniable passion…… was a great read from beginning to end and a great addition to this highly entertaining series. Really loved this adventure and look forward to more!

This story started off slow for me but by the second or third chapter I was hooked on these characters and their story.
This is a well written book with strong characters and an entertaining story line. The author brings a slow burn romance between Maggie and Jason and weaves a sweet story filled with drama and humor. It’s not all smooth sailing on their journey to love. Another great book to the series!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
A sweet tale of learning to trust and love again
For two characters that have no interest in having a relationship Maggie and Jason just can’t help themselves. Their instant chemistry and the way they compliment each other is hard to resist. If only they listened to their hearts not their heads. This easy to read falling in love story has just enough angst, a couple of twists, and a whole lot of heart. I love going back to Willow Valley for it’s small town intimacy and the mellow lifestyle, and revisiting the Winters clan.
An entertaining well written romance. This engaging storyline has slow burn romance with drama, angst, humor, and hurdles through an incredible journey to a great ending. The characters are interesting with undeniable chemistry. I voluntarily read and reviewed and look forward to more from this amazing author.
A cute romance that had moments of hilarity and some anguish. Maggie and Jason have a history, only Maggie doesn’t realise it at first. When he comes back into her life, he is no longer the boy she once knew but a grown man in every sense of the word. Jason thinks to lend Maggie a hand in starting up her new business, but the more time he spends with her, the more he realises that she is responsible to a large extent for the man he has become and he wants to get to know the adult Maggie better. Unfortunately, there is a fly in the ointment, and it takes all the goodwill he has built up with the Winter family to get around the hurdles that have been thrown in his path. The book is generally well written and romantic and comes to a happy conclusion. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

I received a free copy of the novel Designed for Love : Willow Valley book 8 by Christine Kingsley and this review was given freely.
Heartwarming with a close knit family, this romance is set in the modern day but began with a chance encounter 10 years ago. A perfect complement of creativity and organizational skills is found in this touching novel featuring the last unmarried Winters sibling, clothing designer Maggie Winters, and New York fashion magazine and clothing line designer/CEO Jason Briggs. Jason returns to Willow Valley as Maggie is opening her shop where a palpable attraction leads to a relationship which almost ends when jealousy and a vindictive assistant reveal secrets.
