I was born an ordinary girl with a tiny seed of sickness. As I got older, it grew bigger, manifesting into something sinister.Mama told me to lock it away and let it wither.I didn’t know how.So I hid it.Solitude became my closest companion.Solo, single, lonely.Until Declan.Until Ethan. They were drawn to my sickness like moths to a flame. With them, I was nurtured into something special. With them, I … flame.
With them, I was nurtured into something special.
With them, I flourished in depths of decay and darkness.

I was consumed from the very begining and could not put this book down. It was DARK, twisted, SICK, gore, BLOODY and I absoulety loved it. I enjoyed the story line with Helena, Declan and Ethan. These three belonged together and I’m glad they did find each other- especially after all the Helena has been through in her life. One of my top reads this year.
Ohemgee this book was so amazing.
This is Natalie at her finest. I absolutely couldn’t put this book down the whole time I was reading it and the way it pulled me in I didn’t want to miss anything.
This was one dark and twisted read by her and I loved every second reading it as well as every word.
If you like dark, twisty and just plain crazy then this book I’d recommend it, but there may be triggers for some this is just a warning.
This is just my opinion and my voluntary review
I loved this story so much! It was a true horror love story. I have never read a horror love story that made me chuckle at times and yet totally love the way these characters truly were perfect for each other. Helena was sheltered her whole life and abused. When she is brought out of the only home she has ever known she meets Ethan and Declan and learns she is not alone in her “sickness” and that she is capable of love. So many secrets in this story come to light and she learns to embrace who she is. She also is embraced and nurtured by the men.
The love that Ethan and Declan have for each other and then for and with Helena is beautiful and although their story is a dark and twisted one, I rooted for them the whole time. Helena is the missing piece that they have been looking for and they take such care with her and in showing her their acceptance. In fact they embrace her and her secrets.
When I first started reading this story I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from the blurb and being new to Natalie Bennett, but I am so very glad I did read it! It was well written and in fact I hope to some day learn more about Helena, Declan and Ethan!
Natalie Bennett for me has been the find of 2018 for me, outstanding my love of her books kicked off with the badlands series, now this, I have just finished it, It is dark and while reading it I am thinking I am depraved because I thoroughly enjoyed this, Helena is one weird girl but the more you read the more your heart hurts for her, Declan and Ethan what can I say hot hot mad and very dangerous, the entire family are twisted, you will need to understand that there are scenes in this that are horrific to some, I loved the book. It was let down with some errors, another proof read to correct the mistakes some of the spellings and missing words would have give it for me a 5 star rating. Go straight in and read it, if you like them dark hot and twisted this is the one for you
Damnnnn.. Natalie Bennett. I want to crawl inside her head and see how dark it really is in there, but part of me is afraid I’d never see the light again LOL. This book was like reading a snuff porn film instead of watching one (not that I ever have, but from what I’ve heard I imagine it something similar)… but I absolutely love how she doesn’t hold back and she definitely didn’t hold back with this one!
I couldn’t get enough of these characters and their fuckedupness. It was sick, depraved, gruesome and vile… but it was also hot and cringe-tastic while being a bloody gore fest at the same time.
But this is the side of Natalie Bennett that I love. When I’m in the mood for something on this side of the twisted scale, she is my #1 go-to. She’s darkly poetic with her descriptions to give her books that extra layer of disturbing that makes her stories thrive.
I’ll give you a warning, though… if you are squeamish when it comes to maggots and dismantling body parts, you should probably steer clear of this book, but if you’re curious, like me, then by all means, devour this book just like I did.
Somehow Natalie Bennett makes dark, bloody, and twisted sexy. Like clench them thighs, call your man/woman on the phone, reach into that bedside table sexy. Yup, it’s that sexy. Depravity is a book I just couldn’t put down for a second. I ignored every single thing around me and got caught up in this macabre world. The entire story drew me in. The writing kept me hooked, but it was the complex characters and their personalities that stole the entire book for me. I loved the whole innocent but psycho thing Helena had going for her. She was so sheltered for her “sickness” that she had no emotions. Only fixing things made her feel a tiny bit. Declan and Ethan were completely perfect in showing her that she’s special with her sickness. They didn’t handle her with kid gloves as others did, they treated her like an adult and made sure they showed her in every way that she was special and perfect. Their dark twisted love story will be one I go back to again and again. Natalie Bennett outdid herself with Depravity.
I’m honestly not sure how to review this one. I’m going with 3.5 stars. I’ve enjoyed all the Natalie Bennett books I’ve read, but this one may have just pushed me a bit too far out of my comfort zone. It was a little too heavy on the graphic torture and a bit light on the romance. There were a couple scenes that had me seriously cringing. Having said that, I still had to finish the book to see how things ended for Helena. Next time she gives a warning for graphic torture though, I will probably take it more seriously.
Natalie Bennett is a fairly new author to me, but I have to say she fastly has got me intrigued and I want to read more of her words. I feel like I’m just as sick and deprived as the characters she writes about because I actually feel like I’m in a spellbound with her books and I am still wanting more when I get to the end.
Yes, the books are gruesome, sick, gross — but if you’re okay with that, then I say go for it. I’m not sure why I’m okay with reading this kind of genre because I cannot sit and watch a gory movie. I can handle horror but not gory. Yet, I sit here and read Natalie Bennett who does such an excellent job at writing such gory books and leaves me hooked and spent.
Helena, Declan and Ethan were one heck of a weird as hell and mentally sick combo. I don’t understand why they felt the need to do the things they did, but if that’s what satisfied their quench then by all means!
Natalie Bennett has a way with twisting her stories around and making them more interesting than what I actual think they’re going to be and I love that about her writing style. She definitely keeps you on your toes and going WTF did I just read!!
Let’s not forget how hot her sex scenes are as well, she knows how to incorporate those great scenes into the f*cked up world that these characters live in.
This is a story about fixing
-fixing what is broken
-filling what is empty
– it is Bloody
– it is Brutal
and it is Beautiful
Helena
“She was death disguised as a pretty doll”
Helena has spent her life being told that she was ill, unfix-able
A life that left her feeling lonely and a bit empty
– but she found a way to fill that emptiness
– even though she could not fix herself, she could fix others
– she needed to fix that which was broken
So she crafted, quite creatively I might add.
She took apart that which was broken and recreated it so that it was whole again
– She meant no harm
– she only wanted to fix it
– to make it better.
Declan
“Oh and I would hide a body for you if you asked nicely”
One of the most lovably depraved and absolutely ingenious anti-hero heroes I have had the pleasure of falling for.
Ethan
I think he is the humor in our little trio and at times the balance to their insanity. Not that he isn’t a bloody indulgent anti-hero himself. I want to know what happened when he was out “finding” himself
This was one of the top five best romantic horrors I have ever read.
As a reader, we get to take this journey from the “unwell’s” (?) pov .
Helena honestly believes she is fixing things – how can you hold that against her? She is void of emotions in a sense. She does not know how to process or label her feelings, she lacks stuffing.
Declan sees stars when he watches Helena – her “sick” calls to his and likewise with Ethan. Both he and Ethan were raised in a world where feeding their impulses is acceptable. Their morals are different than societies as a whole, but they actually do exist – They both have been looking for the missing “piece” in their lives and Helena just may be it.
This is a horror story – it is graphic – it is bloody – there is no remorse for the acts that are carried out within these pages
That being said – ONE CLICK NOW – see you on the other side
This author has the unique ability to blow my mind with each and every novel she writes, as she achieves the impossible of continually raising the bar! Helena is a complex character, who lives with the darkness inside her head. Declan and Ethan accepts her for who she is. This is a brilliantly written story, which is dark, twisted, depraved, yet is also sweet and romantic. This story is certainly not for the feint-hearted! I was totally hooked and intrigued throughout this addictive page turner, and cannot wait to read more from this talented author, whose work I highly recommend.

Depravity is a standalone dark romance from author Natalie Bennett. I just love dark romances, and no one does it better than Ms. Bennett. I have read her Obscene Duet which tells the story of Mason Andreou and Katie Cormick, which I absolutely loved.
When I started Depravity, I did not realize this was Declan Andreou’s story. I have wanted to read his story and became completely engrossed from the very beginning. The storyline was dark, twisted, gritty, and sizzling hot. Phew! My Kindle was smoking after reading the sex scenes, especially the ones with Declan and Ethan!
Another fabulous story!

Depravity by Natalie Bennett is one hell of a dark read!
So so dark and twisted, deviant and depraved. Yet, so sweet and romantic! And sexy, yes, so sexy!!
If you love to read dark stories…what the hell are you waiting for??
One of my absolute top read 2018!
-Stina, A Woman & Her Books.
When I saw characters from previous books, I couldn’t hep but think that the gang was all here. The cast of characters were utterly twisted. For some bloody reason that made me love them more. They weren’t normal. They were unique. They were absolutely sick. Helena was an interesting main character. She had felt nothing but wanted to fix things on a given occasion. Her version of fix… Well… Let me just say she was very imaginative.
Declan and Ethan were lovers as well as partners but they were still looking for the missing piece. They could easily see Helena being their glue. She could be their missing piece. I’m not going to say what did or did not occur between these three… Let me just say this. Once a group of sick individuals come together, anything is fair game.
Wow!!! I have to start off by saying Depravity completely blew me away. Dark, twisted and totally unconventional yet absolutely fascinating I couldn’t devour this book quick enough!
The characters pulled me in from the very beginning and kept me teetering on the edge of my seat until the end. Each of them were intriguing on their own but together they held me completely riveted. Helena is quite unlike any other character I’ve read before and I loved that Ethan and Declan loved her for exactly who she was. This trio left me speechless at times yet I never once second guessed the deep connection, love and fierce loyalty they had for each other.
Depravity is everything that makes me want to run into the dark and dance my little heart away. It’s dark, twisted, appalling, unconventional yet perfectly imperfect. The author has a way with words that will leave you trying to pick your jaw up off the floor yet loving every mindblowing minute of Helena, Declan and Ethan’s story. If you crave dark and twisted reads then Depravity is a definite must read.
Holy what did I just read? And why did I totally love it and want more and more. Helena is one very unusual girl she’s a psychopath to put it mildly. Declan and Ethan are two unusual guys who are looking for a connection to another female. This book is intense, crazy, totally unique and dark. Totally out of the park a great horror romance! 5/5 stars
First let me tell you how much I love the cover of the book. it is amazing and fits the book so well.
In this book the story of the Andreou family continues, but you can read it as a standalone. In its core this is a love story. It is not your everyday standard lovestory, it is dark and sometimes gruesome, but there is also light and a feeling of being home. It is story of three people with dark desires connecting on so many levels.
I felt so sad for Helane and how she grew up and was treated by her family. Being with Declan and Ethen allows her to grow until her potential and be loved and accepted for the first time in her life. It was actually kinda sweet and that is a word I normally don’t use when reviewing Natalie Bennett books.
It was an amazing read that gripped me from the first to the last page.
I loved this from the very first chapter. I was sucked in and couldn’t put it down. It’s dark, dirty, gory, and graphic and I loved immersing myself into their depraved world.
This is the story of Helena, Declan and Ethan. It’s a twisted love story that includes MM and MFM. Helena likes to “fix things” and thinks she’s sick. She comes off as strange but I was very intrigued by her. Declan and Ethan are also intrigued by her from the first time they meet. The three of them together are fascinating to read about, they’re very unique.
This is my first book from this author, she has been recommended to me before, and I can’t believe it took me so long to read her. I will be going back to read more from her. If you like dark reads, then I highly recommend this book.
This was a phenomenal read: Miss Bennett has absolutely smashed this story: there’s nobody who can do dark and depraved quite like this author and I think Depravity for me was her most graphic that I have read to date.
First, this can definitely be read as a standalone: but you’re probably gonna be like me and want to backtrack as soon as your finished here: to check out the rest of this purely psychotic family who makes the Manson’s themselves seem like normal everyday folk.
This is one of them stories you just need to dive right into the decadence and fully immerse yourself in its highly hedonistic flavour of self-indulgent torturous pleasure: where anything goes and the sickness of mind and body is indulged to the point of an almost broken morality.
And got to admit I Bloody hands down Loved it: so refreshing to experience such an unapologetic attitude to all things wrong and wretched: where nobody is eventually redeemed and its individuals revel whole-heartedly in their dissolute degeneracy almost like a newly found religion of sorts.
Depravity itself is the tale of Helena, Declan and Ethan: it’s an unconventional love story which contains both M/M and M/F/M, in fact, anything goes with these three end-gamers.
Helena herself is a blank canvas when she comes to the boy’s attention: an empty vessel with a penchant for fixing things (after she’s broken them first of course).
She doesn’t feel emotion like normal people and has been told her whole isolated life that she is sick: shes also comes across as slightly strange and for definite a touch cray- cray.
Declan and Ethan recognise the seed of immorality growing inside Helena and from day one they are enthralled by her slightly unhinged wrongness: they see within her: the missing piece of there puzzle and as such take steps to procure there baby-girl ready and willing to nurture her nature to its full brilliant imperfection.
Declan and Ethan Accept Helena fully for the first time in her life: revelling in all that she has been told by her mother would actually repel.
In there loving hands she starts to emerge from her protective cocoon truly finding her place in what is to her a strange and confusing minefield of new emotions.
So this is hot, dirty and decadent. Graphic, Gory and glorious.
This is unhinged Immorality at its finest and if that is not your bag then best to give this a wide berth as this doesn’t pull its punches in the slightest: some of the scenes here: well let’s just say they are not for the squeamish and take a strong stomach if you know what I mean.
So yeh this was a big hit for me: my favourite of this authors work since I read Savages.
Highly recommend this one if you’re into super dark and different.
Just, please be aware what you are embarking on as this is super graphic in nature.
I voluntary reviewed an Arc of Depravity.

Absolutely love this series, it’s so messed up and dark how could u not? Love reading about the different generations. Ethan and Declan have finally met their center, Helena. She is so perfect from this family, after all she has gone thru in her short life. She just wants someone to love her, and lucky her she found two very accepting alpha men.

OMG!
This book made my dark heart and romantic soul all kinds of happy! It was all kinds of dark, deviant and depraved, but it was also sweet and romantic (I know you’re thinking “what the what??” But trust me, it’s true) and toss in a good dose of smexy…and I simply devoured this in no time flat and wanting more when the book ended.
What can I say about Helena, Declan and Ethan other than I absolutely adored them! They fascinated me on every level and I honestly liked them as the people they were. True, they have some interesting…proclivities that don’t necessarily mesh with the norms of society, but they have a strong sense of honor and loyalty to those they call their own. As for their journey to their HEA. It worked for me on every level. I loved their interactions and the smexy was HAWT. I mean this is my kind of ménage, hands down. But what I loved the most was how Ethan and Declan brought Helena into the fold and showed her how special she was to them. No games, no tricks. Just simple and pure honesty that she was theirs and they’d always have her back.
I know this review is vague (no surprise there) and doesn’t touch on the dark depraved side of the story, but that was intentional because I knew that if I started down that road, we’d be here forever. So, bottom line…triggers. SO. MANY. TRIGGERS. So reader beware.
This was my first read by the author and while I’m very happy I finally dove into one of her books, I’m also kicking my own arse for NOT doing it sooner because I absolutely loved it! The writing was engaging, the pacing well done and I thoroughly enjoyed the multiple 1st person POV’s. The supporting cast of characters were all so well written. I loved Mason and Katie, and will definitely be grabbing the the Obscene Duet. as soon as possible so I can dive back into this dark world!
Note: Depravity can be read as a standalone
