Davian’s life hadn’t been easy. After two near-death experiences, he held on to his optimism, even if danger still had a way of finding him.Beneath her kind exterior, Robin was in unbelievable pain after losing her best friend. Sheer determination kept her going, even when she wanted to give up.Then Davian appeared with his infectious smile and cheerful demeanor. They were an unlikely pair. One … were an unlikely pair. One was a panther shifter and the other a fae princess. However, Robin didn’t want a mate, so she pushed Davian away at every turn. Too bad for her, he wasn’t the type to give up.
When an outside threat found its way to the fae realm, Davian leapt into action.
Fate had a way of placing paranormals where they were meant to be. It was time for Robin to realize her destiny before it was too late.

Denying Davian by Michelle Dare is a paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Sarah L. Colton and Troy Duran.
This is the seventh book in the Paranormals of Avynwood Series. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone. However, they do reference characters from other books so I would recommend reading in order.
I absolutely love Michelle’s books! They always leave me with a smile. I really enjoyed Robin and Davian’s story. I liked that they had the insta-connection but slowly built on their relationship before letting the mating bond take effect. I can’t wait for the next book in the series Ladon’s Desire to be released on audio so I can get Ladon and Gen’s love story.
Sarah and Troy did an amazing job on the narration. They really know how to bring a story to life.
I would highly recommend this series if you love Paranormal Romances.

Another fantastic addition to the Paranormal of Avynwood series. So many great characters that you connect with and enjoy the ride as they fall in love and fight for their happy endings. This book is just as good as the others with both the narration and writing.
5 Davian and Robin Filled Stars!!!
I swear I’ve waited forever to get both Davian and Robin’s stories. I just wasn’t expecting them to be fated to each other. I’ve been doing backflips since finding out though!!
Davian has been around since the beginning of The Ariane Trilogy. He’s a panther shifter and went to school with Ariane, Paige and Brayden. Him and his dad are two of the extended members of the Avynwood Pack and they’re always there when they need help. Davian has had a few extremely close calls with death she bc of that him and his dad go on vacation. They have no destination set so they’re traveling around Europe.
Robin’s story so far has been around and pretty big. But, we learned about her in Kylest’s book. Robin is Kylest’s sister and they’re fae royalty. Robin is the fae princess who rules Europe while Ky rules North America.
Robin was kidnapped and held hostage along with her best friend Wyatt from Robin’s sister. Robin was there when her best friend was murdered. Robin never found out if they were a fated match before he died. Robin hasn’t been the same since.
Robin tends to stay by herself. She doesn’t have to put on a smile when she’s alone. Robin tends to stick to a select few places she’s most comfortable with.
While out for a walk she bumps into Shey and Kincaid who are fated vampires. They introduce her to Davian and his dad and it turns out they know her brother Ky and have fought beside him and it instantly relaxes her. ESP since she’s always on guard. They spend the day together and say goodbye.
Davian is shocked when Kylest shows up in the middle of the night looking for Robin. Him and his dad insist on going with Ky to look for her.
They find Robin in the fae realm where she doesn’t spend that much time there. While Robin and Davian are having a talk tragedy hits one of the families in the realm when somebody was murdered.
Robin, Kylest and their parents will do whatever they have too to find the killer ESP since it’s another fae behind it. The way the murder was done was from an old fae. Robin’s father saw this almost take out every fae decades and decades ago.
Davian insists on staying with Robin to help her but Robin isn’t so sure but when Davian’s panther skills prove to be beneficial in a way a fae can’t Robin’s dad Odilo the King of the fae gladly accepts Davian’s help. They just better find out whose behind these attacks before every fae is killed.
Omg I floved this story!! I finished it quick and then was so mad at myself for reading it so fast lmao.
After everything Davian and Robin have been put thru they 110% deserve their own HEA and I’m not mad they found it with each other. That’s even better then what I could’ve imagined for them.
Ever since the beginning of The Ariane Trilogy, Ford and Sol’s Mom Eloise has been my favorite parent/side character BUT i can’t believe I’m gunna say this…. Eloise you’re gunna have to share that #1 spot with Robin and Kylest’s dad Odilo…. There I said it phew lol!! I can’t help it that man stole a chunk of my heart. Not a piece but a chunk. The love here has for his wife, the queen, his fellow fae’s and his children.
He hated seeing Robin being a shell of who she was before. Davian made her happy, made her look like her older happier self and that made him happy. Wether he was only with Robin, or with Davian or with everybody he made me smile.
This is a must read book!!! I’m looking forward to watch Michelle releases next.
This book pulled me in and kept me entranced till the end. The feelings of love, hate, and pain coming out in waves making you want to cry while you read. This was such a beautiful book! I loved the characters wholesomeness!
Really enjoyed this action packed, heart racing journey filled with magical and exciting charters, witty dialog, heart racing twists and undeniable passion. Was an edge of your seat could not stop reading adventure from beginning to end. Great reading!
“Denying Davian” is book seven in Michelle Dare’s Paranormals of Avynwood series. Each book in this series follows a different test of Paranormal Couple, this book follows Davian, a Panther shifter and Robin, a Fae Princess and Kylest’s sister. Both these characters have had a rough life.
The thing I love the most about the books in this series is that although each book is based off new couples, we continue to see and get glimpses of our past characters, and it’s always a delight and enjoyable moment especially when the Verascue brothers make an appearance.
After another brush with death Davian and his father go on a trip to explore Europe, where he meets Shey and Kincaide the newest Vampires. When they go out for lunch they run into Robin. Robin is still heartbroken and depressed after the events of her being kidnapped by her sister and her mate and losing Wyatt her best friend. Davian and Robin talk and hang out with each other. When Robin starts to have this pull to Davian she runs back to her house in the Fae world where Wyatt was killed.
Davian goes to the Fae world where he says to Robin that although he has this pull to her he is happy to only have a friendship with her as long as she is in his life. When Fae start dying in the Fae world Davian is there to help Robin and the Kivalvay royals investigate.
As they spend more time with each other Davian is able to break down Robin’s walls and help to slowly heal her.
I did enjoy this book, though it wasn’t my favourite in the series. At times I felt it was a little slow and predictable. But in true Michelle Dare style she has you hooked and wanting more, and with the unexpected evil being revealed. This book will have you laughing, crying, screaming and shouting along with the characters.
I have to say that I look forward to the next books in the Avynwood series. Each one is unique however, it ties together seamlessly with all the previous stories. Davian was introduced to us as a minor character in a few of the past stories. He has had a rocky start, but continues to have a good heart. Vacationing with his father after near death experiences is supposed to an adventure, he never thought he would meet his mate. Robin was also introduced in a previous story, she too is trying to heal from betrayal, heartache and loss. She is sure she lost her mate, so meeting Davian was a complete surprise and she is not sure how to handle it. Theirs is not to be a whirlwind romance, they will have plenty of obstacles to overcome to get to a place where they heal each other. Danger, treachery and a dark threat will try to keep them apart but it will also push them closer together. I really loved Davian, he was just so amazing. I was not sure how Robins family was going to accept him and if Robin would be able to open her heart again. Another excellent addition to this amazing series. If you have not started it yet you are missing out, I cant wait for the next one.
This is a great addition to the series. Robin and Davian were meant to be together but it does take Robin awhile to figure it out but I got her hesitation.
Love this series have been hooked from the very begining and will tell the very ending. These storys will have your emional on a ride through out each read. This story is a amazing Davian and Robins story is about a fae and panther shifter help each other through each other’s past of heartache and near death.
As always Michelle Dare doesn’t disappoint. Thi is an awesome read
Why try to fight fate it is a losing battle. Davian has had a rough time of it. Robin lost someone dear to her and didn’t want a mate. She tries to push Davian away at every turn. Robin just wants to give up. He is not going to give up or let her. This one has action, adventure. Loved the Characters.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Denying Davian is the 7th book in Michelle’s paranormal of Avynwood series! This book can be read as a stand-alone but recommend reading the others first so you get a better concept of the “Avynwood family”.
In true Michelle form she had me glued to my kindle from the very first sentence to the very last page!
I seriously could not put my kindle down til I finished the book and the emotional roller coaster Michelle took me on I laughed, I cried and screamed wtf.
My has Davian grown up! I love Davian and his positive attitude to life even after everything his been through and his fierce loyalty to the ones he loves! Poor Robin didn’t have a chance.
Robin is such a beautifully strong but broken Fae Princess who you meet in earlier books when she’s kidnapped by her sister and mate. Robin is still dealing with the grief and lost of loosing her best friend when she meets Davian, she knows his special but tries to fight the pull that they both feel.
Together they make a beautiful fated love story Can’t wait to see where Michelle takes us next in the Avynwood world
What a great love story! I was surprised by this eighth book of the series. Seems like the others were more about the mystery while this one was more about the romance. I’ve always been surprised trying to solving the mystery, but I had this one figured out way in advance. Lol! Still, great great great romance.
Michelle Dare’s paranormal world in Avynwood and the fae realm brings so much joy. Her characters are unforgettable and you just want them to get their happily ever after.
Davian and Robin get their turn in this installment and I was rooting for them from the get-go. We read a little about them in previous books and now they are facing danger and the possibility of love at center stage. From the beginning, you get the sense that Davian is not someone easily manipulated or afraid. He’s faced death head-on several times and is not one to shy from danger. He is always optimistic and looking for the good in everything. Robin finds this out when she gets a look into his mind by accident. His fearlessness is also showcased when he first meets Robin’s father. Robin is overcome with guilt and sadness over the death of her best friend and wants nothing to do with finding a mate, but Davian lets her know he’s only asking for her friendship. They are an unlikely match, yet they are perfect for each other. When the fae realm is threatened, Davian is there by Robin’s side showing he cares and breaking down her walls little by little. Finding out who is behind the evil is a shocker to everyone, but in true Dare fashion, everything works out as it should.
Michelle Dare knows how to weave this tale of love, passion, friendship, danger, and everything in between. Getting to see characters from previous books is always a plus, and when the Verascue brothers are in the middle of anything, yeah, that is always a good thing.
