Clementine Brodeur has found her fated mate, and is now pursued by a three-faced killer.I wasn’t expecting to meet Laszlo Arkadi the same day I discovered my family was built on secrets. My deceased mother? On the face of it, she was a matchmaker for witches seeking love. Concealed from her daughters, she risked her life freeing enslaved Magicals. My father? He wasn’t there for me. And since my … Magicals.
My father? He wasn’t there for me. And since my mother’s death, he’s been trying to join her on the other side.
As for my oldest sister? I suspect she’s an assassin.
Now I’ve bonded with my ice demon, Prince Laszlo, he’s taking me to the Reformed Realm to meet his parents. Turns out, there’s more to meeting the Queen than simply learning to curtsy.
I just want to catch a break from family drama–mine and his.
That royal ball Laszlo and I are required to attend? The invited guests think the prince is still single. The uninvited guests intend to escape with the realm’s most vulnerable Magicals.
I have to follow my instincts. Only now I’m bound to another. Can Laszlo and I merge our magics? Can we challenge a tyrant who envisions a world with many of us in cages?

Once again Coraline Moss has done a great job of writing female characters in strong roles! I wasn’t sure where the Fae would fit in this time, (first book readers will know what I mean), but I sure didn’t expect to see them show up like they did. Once again the Fae will stir anger in your soul and you’ll find yourself saying damn Fae bitches! Well done Coraline!

Great characters, believable magic, and the suspense of not knowing who the villian really is…
Brilliant! Coralie rips through spinning this refreshing approach, rocking this baby home, setting the pace with this thrilling storyline and gripping plot, melding this gem together sleek, shiny and tight. Twined, combined and interwoven, exposing the heart pounding ups and gut wretching downs, grounding in it’s strength and awe inspiring in it’s depth. Satisfaction is an understatement, this baby comes packing a punch that’ll bring you to your knees, keeping you riveted on a razors edge. Anarchy, escapades and havoc run amuck, jolting this sparkling jewel into a roaring tempest, blasting it into a tailspin with a mind-blowing culmination. Maneuvering the scheming trials and strategic tribulations, noting the cunning twists and wicked turns, testing our characters in ways they could have never envisioned. A spiraling vortex of inexplicable circumstances, blow this bad boy wide open. Rousting the drama, intrigue, doubt, turmoil, danger, mounting suspense and precarious situations along with a boatload of chaos while dodging mayhem, you have one block busting masterpiece. The characters are complex and authentic with depth and traits that blend and flow, transforming into genuinely relatable personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and depictions creating a colorful backdrop that makes the storyline pop. Amazing job Coralie, thanks for sharing this little treasure with us.
This is a fast paced novel that starts off where the previous book ended. I raced through reading this. Very creative world development with interesting characters. I sometimes felt a depth of detail was missing, but it made for a very entertaining, somewhat light read. I am looking forward to the next book in this series. I am engaged by these characters and appreciate that they are not immature teens- early twenty somethings. Late 20’s/30’s gives characters a chance to grow without the annoying angst.

Demon Lines is the second book of Coralie Moss’s Sister Witches Urban Fantasy series. Clementine Brodeur and Laszlo Arkadi discovered that they are fated mates. They head to the Reformed Realm to meet Laszlo’s parents. His mother is the queen, so no pressure there. Clementine has to navigate her feelings for Laszlo and a new world with royal politics. Then they uncover a plot by a mysterious guest to kidnap Magicals.
The author builds a beautiful world for this story. The details she uses to describe the Reformed Realm help me to paint a vivid picture in my mind from the gardens to the palace to the night sky and woods. I like how their relationship isn’t easy just because they were fated to be together. They are drawn to each other but the “real” world keeps getting in the way. They have the obstacle of the queen’s acceptance. They have a mystery to solve and Magical beings to protect. I can’t wait to see how they move forward not only as fated mates but also as investigative partners. Ms. Moss has yet to disappoint with any of her books. If you like magic, mystery and steamy romance then this book is for you.
