To me, this book was more about Adelia instead of Adelia and Colin. The storyline line was ok, but their development as a couple was scarce.
I loved it. Reading all I can from this author.
I couldn’t get enough of the characters. They were tough as nails with a side of human. It made me cry and it made me smile. I want to be loved like that.
Fast moving could not but known.
This is the last of the Delta series. At first I was totally confused. I’m not saying it’s a bad story but I just didn’t understand the beginning. The dialogue seemed to rushed to me. But then the action and the chase begins and it will leave you breathless.
Adelia was sold by her father and Tex, a member of the Mayhem MC, bought her and took her to live with him. He raised her as his daughter and taught her to take care of herself. She is keeping secrets, she has been rescuing trafficked women and children and setting them free.
Colin is on the Delta team and is about to be made second in command. His only goal in life has been his job. He has admired Adelia from afar but she’s his brother in laws sister. They connect at a wedding and everything changes for him.
When the club finds out she’s been using their money to buy the women, they put a hit out on her. Nobody steals from the club. Now she’s on the run from her family, a hitman, and the main person over the human trafficking ring. She has to do something to stop the “monster” and the only thing she knows is to kill it. But another plan comes together and she sets it in motion before she is killed. Colin is right behind her but will he get there to save her from the club and herself?
Totally sexy bikers and Delta guys, and a biker babe. Seriously sick people, sexy times, shootings, and a woman on the run.
* RECEIVED AN ARC FROM THE AUTHOR AND VOLUNTARILY READ AND REVIEWED IT *
After using money from Mayhem’s accounts (Motorcycle Club) to save women from human traffickers, Adelia gets caught and her life is over – it’s the code of the Club – never steal from Mayhem. On the run, Colin has to help with this mess but she continues to keep secrets from him. Delta and Titan teams gather to help clean up this situation.
This is an action packed, nail biting, can’t put the book down story. Heroes are strong, sexy, alpha men along with strong and loving women who stand by their side. Even with all the hotness between Colin and Adelia there is such a sweet romance between the two. I love how this author brings in characters from Titan and Delta and we get to see what their families have been up to since the last book. This is a great ending to this series and I’m excited for the next series by this author. She has such a talent for coming up with new, fresh and exciting stories.
Good lord, from the first words, Delta: Richochet thrusts you into the story of Colin and Adelia.
Colin’s singular focus has been work. Be it during his stint in the military or as a Delta operative, Colin’s not wavered from his path. He’s dedicated to the point of denial–denial of his heart’s wants and needs. Until Adelia.
Adelia’s working in plain sight. Working to save women and children from human traffickers. Working the money around Mayhem’s various accounts. Covering her tracks and protecting her support network, until her treachery is discovered. No one steals from Mayhem Motorcycle Club and lives. Forcing Adelia on the run and desperate to figure out who’s really on her side and who’s working against her before it’s too late.
I love the budding romance between Adelia and Colin. It’s sexy, smart and totally swoony. Adelia’s past hinders her ability to trust, but Colin has worked under her skin and into her panties . . . err . . . heart and he’s not willing to let go. But Adelia’s got deep secrets. Stuff she’s hiding and things that could lead to not only her death but the death of others if they’re found out to be a part of her network. I loved how the Delta and Titan teams rallied to figure out what was really happening, what was real versus a calculated cover-up. I especially loved the comeuppance delivered to many who absolutely deserved it!
Delta:Ricochet kept me on the edge of my seat and my heart in my throat until the very last word.
Wow. Tense and suspenseful, ful of excitement and action that holds the reader on a precipice for the length of the book. There are twists, some of which are to continue I feel into future books, that had me trying to figure them out and not succeeding. Colin and Adelia are well suited together, both are are strong but also need the love and support that only that special someone can give to the other, there are times in the plot where they doubt briefly but soon reason out that they should go with their gut and not their heads. I loved this story and all the underlying politics and intricacies that were going on in so many different ways. Tex and Lenora wow! Both have good when it’s needed. I can’t wait for more from all the various teams, MC’s ect and I’d love to hear that Adelia gets to continue her work.
I’m going to go against the prevailing reviews on this sight but not on Amazon, this book suffered from a bad copy editor. Multiple issues of missing words, verbs in the wrong tense, and the wrong word used in a sentence. And it suffered from bad editing in general with choppy dialogue and a disjointed story. The initial chapters and the wedding chapter where Colin and Adelia meet were terrific. The ending was rushed and I still don’t understand what happened aside from the antagonist dying. This book was not at all on par with the earlier Titan books, though I was glad to see Thelma and Bacon make their appearances. This book was ok.
Cristin Harber wraps up the Delta series with Ricochet by throwing us right in the middle of the ocean and bombarding us with waves of heart-melting goodness, mind-numbing twists, heart-shattering moments, and heart-happy giggles. No matter what emotion dished out, it was always intense.
Adelia’s mix of innocence and strength drew me to her to where I felt more inspired to be like her in several ways. She definitely intrigued me with her passion, her spirit.
Colin – boy, did I fall hard for him! Not only as the hero in the story, but with who he was as a brother and leader. He really came into his own, learned some lessons, and so quietly settled into my heart in such a way I know he’ll always be there.
I always adore getting to escape into the Titan world and (re)connect with characters who become like precious friends to me – the feelings of family, loyalty, devotion, and love are always present – whether it’s in the form of Winters handing out advice, Jared embodying “boss man”, Javier giving big-brother orders, or Titan surrounding and protecting it’s own.
Delta: Ricochet is an insanely intense and twisted, sweet and beautiful story – so totally worth the laughter and swoons, the heart attacks and tears. I stinking loved every moment!! You don’t want to miss out.
I liked this story, but it got a little too muddled and confusing for me at times. I started off liking Adelia and her cause, but then she got a lot annoying. I’m glad that she came to the decision she did at the end. I wished Adelia would have come clean sooner than she did. I wanted her to ask for help. Colin was pretty cool even after what he was told. When the chips were down he came through. Even with the ups and downs of the story, I liked it. I read on Kindle Unlimited.
