OMG, I am in love with Tobias!!! We meet Tobias when he sees his car being keyed by a drunken gorgeous lady who is a stranger to him. As Tobias takes the angry drunken Diane into Verge, his BDSM club’s office to swap information to repair his ruined car’s finish, he decides Diane needs more from him than information and plans to take more from her too. If there is anyone begging
to be dominated, Diane is the perfect type and Tobias wants her. During their meeting in his office,
there is an emergency that he needs to take care of and Diane’s babysitter calls her with a problem.
Diane takes her call and talks the babysitter through the crisis with her autistic son and Tobias brings
her with him to handle the crisis in his club. When they finally get to talk with each other Tobias gives Diane an offer to consider for her payment to repair the damage she did to his car.
Eventually, Diane and Tobias agree to let Tobias give her punishment instead of her paying for the damage in cash and learns that the Dom’s punishment and forgiveness along with aftercare are exactly what Diane needs and desires. Tobias meets Diane’s austistic son and handles a potential melt down by the boy with skill and caring. The start of a great relationship starts and I was so happy to read as Diane discovers her need for dominance, as Tobias gets to teach Diane how much she can thrive with BDSM while she and Tobias handle the touchy subject and carefully help Diane’s son to grow and thrive with structure and thoughtfull instructions. There is also Beatrice, Diane’s friend who is a character in herself that we hope to see more of in the future NYC Doms series.
Just have to say again I LOVE TOBIAS!!! And I Loved Deliverance!
I loved this story!! Jane Henry has such a knack for bringing her characters to life! This one dealt with Tobias Co-owner of the BDSM club Verge and Diana a single mom who is raising her son Chad who is on the Spectrum of Autism. Her life is all carefully controlled until she meets Tobias!! This was a great story Another smash hit for Jane Henry!!
Audiobook version:
I love a good BDSM book. I felt like this one was a great mix of story and BDSM. It was on the tamer side in regards to the BDSM but had a great story that went along with it. I loved the characters, the plot and the narration. Really, it was a fantastic read.

Jane Henry’s work (and this series) reminds me of Cherise Sinclair’s BDSM universe (Masters of the Shadowlands series and Mountain Masters and Dark Haven series) all the way down to the floor plans! What makes this one more interesting is that the female characters feel more realistic. In this book, Diana is divorced with a son on the spectrum and an ex-spouse who has absolutely NO idea how to deal with his son, let alone wants to. Tobias is the co-owner of Verge, an interesting BDSM club where its inside culture is more of a neighborhood rather than just a place to indulge in one’s fetishes and fantasies.
I am pleased to find someone who did have an idea of what it’s like to have a son like Chad. I appreciated the fact that perhaps somewhere out there there are guys who do know how to handle boys like that in a cool, positive way. So the story is much more than a primer for BDSM. These are real people with real issues. I liked that.
Jane Henry tried to incorporate a whodunnit subplot. A serial rapist-turn-serial murderer has targeted women associated with Verge, threatening to shut down the club. Uh… nice try, but it was painfully predictable, clunky, and in the end, a relief to be over with rather than with the satisfaction of the end of a bad man’s efforts to install fear and terror in the neighborhood. (I was thinking that I could have had far more fun if Diana’s ex-husband had been the killer! After all, Diana had thought he was in the area when she came across Tobias’ car which she mistaken to be his! Now come to think about it, why the hell would this guy be driving around in a vehicle worth more than US$100K while she and their son was barely getting by!! The bastard!) It could had been so much better had she had been truly enthused with her action/adventure turn. I don’t think it really needed to be there, and I don’t think it would have made such a difference.
I might indulge on the next book except… well, I don’t know if I want to spend the dollars. $4.99 for 200+ pages? Not sure especially since I didn’t want to pay for a series that reminded me of another writer’s works. Will have to think about that one…

This book is a great start for this series. It introduces most of the main characters. This one features Tobias and Diana. He is part owner of a BDSM club. She is a divorced mom of a special needs son. She “accidentally” keys his Mercedes. Thinking that it belongs to her ex-boyfriend. What an inventive way for them to meet. I received this as a free book from BDSM Book Club. Definitely whets my appetite for more tales by Jane Henry.
So good I’ve read it twice! Loved Tobias, total alpha and protector, and the caring that he provides by doing all the little things. Diana is overwhelmed and is starting to rely on Tobias, but because of her past experiences, she knows she can’t. He is going to show her how good she really is. Talking about momma’s and honor at the most inappropriate time and “together”. Make you smile moments as well as suspense and hotness. Total package.
I voluntarily reviewed this book.
The start in this book is great! You don’t have a slow start and just jump right in. The give and take of this couple is the perfect blend. I really like both the writing and narration.
Book 1 of the NYC Doms series. Jane Henry knows exactly how to hook the reader with the very first page; Diana finds herself angry, hurt, and very drunk doing something so out of character that will introduce her to a very intimidating and outraged Dom Tobias. Of course, Diana has no idea who he is or that her actions are going to change her life for the better.
Diana is the single mother; her son Chad is autistic (and Jane writes the complexities of this disorder as if she actually lives it. Not what someone who has no idea about it. – thank you!) and together they have a very busy life. She believes she has no time for love or relationships, and she is in complete control, minus the one little drunk mishap.
Tobias is co-owner of Verge, a BDSM club. His whole being radiates dominance and control. He prefers his woman to be submissive, but not a doormat.
In a unique way Chad, Diana’s son plays an important rule on how Tobias and Diana’s love grows and develops. Tobias tries pulls away from Diana due to the underlying story about the rapist. This is a book you can’t put down until the last page, then leaves you are wanting more.
Full of mystery and suspense also. Recommend
Absolutely loved this book. Jane Henry knocked it out of the park again with this amazing book. Love the dark, steamy, alpha male books. D.C. did an incredible job narrating.
I have decided that I really love the narration of D C Cole. His voice has something about it that draws me in. And he has a way with the female characters that doesn’t sound at all odd, it makes them sound so real.
The start of this just made laugh out loud! As the story carried on I really fell for the characters, they are beautifully written and the way they interact is great. Especially the way Tobias is with Diana’s son, made my heart smile. I loved watching the way the characters change and grow throughout the book, especially Diana as the lifestyle is something she never knew about before.
Have you ever been so hurt, it turned to anger, and then you took leave of your senses? The get drunk and thinking about it causes you to do something that you normally wouldn’t do? Yeah, that’s what happened to Diana. She caught her boyfriend in bed with another woman so when her and her best friend Beatrice went out drinking she happened to see his car parked at the side of the road. Determined, she proceeded to key the entire passenger side only to be confronted with the actual owner. Growly Dom and owner of Verge, the BDSM Club in town. Did you feel that knot in your stomach? That was only the beginning of what will become a a terrific storyline between these two, their cast of side characters, all of which have personality quirks so relatable it will tantalize your senses. Add to that the mystery of the underlying plot and you have a book you can’t put down until The End.
Tobias Creed lives in the world of domination Co-owner of the Club Verge, so the night he finds his car being keyed all he wants is to teach Diana McAdams, who she is dealing with. Diana financially strapped, the mother of a special needs child and curious complies with his terms, and enters his world and all it entails. Neither bargained for the attraction or the glitch in this new found relationship.
I enjoyed this story that is humorous, suspenseful, hot with a lot of compassion and can’t wait for the next story in Jane Henry’s NYC Dom’s series.
D C Cole did a super hot job telling this story.

Deliverance by Jane Henry is a story about a Dom and his submissive that I listened to on audio narrated by D.C. Cole. this is the first book of Jane Henry that I have read and look forward to reading or listening to more books from her in the future. D.C. Cole did a great job narrating. It did take me a couple chapters to fully get into his style of narration since at times it was hard for me to determine which character he was if I got a bit distracted at work. I can’t wait to discover more books that he has narrated. I enjoyed the fact that the book switched between Tobias and Diana point of view. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves BDSM, Alpha Males, and Romance books.

Deliverance
NYC Doms, Book 1
By: Jane Henry
Narrated by: D. C. Cole
This is a well written, well told story and a great start to a new series. I love Jane Henry’s writing style, she has a way with words, she sucks you right in to the story and captivates you from start to end. The storylines and characters are interesting, realistic and relatable. Tobias Creed, oh my, what a mighty fine Dom you are. He has a great head on his shoulders and a huge heart. Diana McAdams has a lot on her plate, her son, Chad, has special needs and his father, her ex-husband, does little to help. Her friend Beatrice is more of a help. I love the way Tobias and Diana first meet, I also love the chemistry between them and the way Tobias is with with Chad. Tobias is part owner of a BDSM club and with vicious attacks on female members near the club he is on a mission to help find the perpetrator. There is a lot of story in this book, there is drama, mystery, romance and some light D/s and BDSM. It is enjoyable and entertaining, Jane Henry, thank you for another great story.
I listened to the Audible edition, D.C Cole is an awesome narrator. He is a talented storyteller and voice performer. He brings the characters to life and gives them heart and personality. He knows how to entertain his listeners and is always a pleasure to listen to.

I just finished reading Deliverance and here’s my review. The book is an interesting story about a single mother that thinks she’s damaging her ex-boyfriend’s car during a snowy, cocktail filled night. Instead she happens to destroy the paint job on the owner of NYC’s well kept secret BDSM club! That’s where our story of Diana and Tobias begins and it really is a great beginning. Diana has really got a lot on her shoulders, she’s the mother of a special needs son and her ex-husband is pretty useless. Tobias is equal parts charmed and angry, never a good mix for a Dom. This story will explore Diana’s introduction into BDSM as well as a blossoming relationship. Tobias has his hands full with Diana’s disobedience as well as a criminal stalking and assaulting female members of his club. This book is full of kink, sexy scenes, laughter and love. If BDSM romances are what interest you, this is a good one. I received a review copy via Booksprout and this is my freely given, honest opinion.
Fantastic story with a realistic vibe. This story has a fantastic plot, really well developed characters and dark elements that go beyond the whole BDSM theme. The author’s depiction of a single mom with a special needs child was spot on. The friendship between Diana and Bea was strong and supportive. The romance was unexpected but also bittersweet, like dark chocolate covered cherries, the prize comes after the purity of natural sweet. It made sense in my head, yo might get it. The suspense of the attacks was just another added layer of plot complexity that made the story even better. I’m new to this author but am now KU trading this one for another of hers. I’m a new fan.
Tobias is one yummy, sexy Dom and Diana’s his perfect match.
Diana meets Tobias when he catches her vandalizing what she thinks is her ex’s car, but is actually his. She quickly sobers up when she realizes her mistake, but now she’s on the hook for the cost of repairs and, as a single mom, this debt is more than she can handle. Tobias is having a bad night all around when a serial killer starts targeting subs from his club, so he has no patience for Diana’s willful disregard for the club’s rules or the consequences of her actions. Their standoff quickly escalates into a firestorm of lust and need, taking Diana places she never dreamed she would enjoy.
The intense chemistry is beautifully built up until it explodes with some truly hot and heartfelt love scenes. Tobias is everything Diana didn’t know she needed, and the way he is with her son, Chad, was absolutely wonderful. The investigation adds a lot of tension to their relationship, which only compresses the time frame necessary for them to realize just how compatible they are. I loved how Diana was true to herself even while discovering new interests, and it was really sweet to see Tobias fall for the one woman who is so unlike the women he’s usually drawn to.
Their HEA was beautifully played out, and the side story of the beginning romance for their friends leads nicely into the next book. I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish.

~~5 MESMERIZED BY MASTER TOBIAS STARS!~~
I have been a HUGE admirer of Jane Henry’s erotic romances for a while. I truly adore everything she writes—her big, tough, fiercely protective Doms always hit my sweet spot– but I was truly BLOWN AWAY by DELIVERANCE, the first scintillating installment in her new NYC Doms series!
I was enthralled by the pitch perfect blend of hotness, humor, suspense and heartwarming emotion. Ms. Henry is my go to author for erotic romances with mild kink that offer me not only pure blissful escapism, but also realistically depicted BDSM power exchanges…and she DELIVERS big time with this book! The dynamic between the DELICIOUSLY COMMANDING Master Tobias and Diana McAdams, the feisty, beleaguered single mom who discovers her secret submissive side–and true empowerment–in his strong, seductive embrace was phenomenal! Talk about sparks and passion galore! The chemistry between Diana and Tobias was off the charts combustible, the erotic interludes FILTHY HOT, the romantic exchanges breathtakingly tender, and yup I needed a spare pair of panties after those torrid spanking scenes!
What truly elevated this irresistible romance to MUST READ status, however, was the emotionally-wrenching storyline featuring Diana’s young autistic son Chad! Diana was the embodiment of a TRUE WARRIOR MOM. Her devotion to her son gave me #AlltheFeels and as a mom raising my own special needs son, she totally nailed the daily trials and tribulations, joys and sorrows, and precious milestones, big and small, that go hand in hand in navigating parenting a child with unique challenges! I also thought that Ms. Henry’s raw and true to life portrayal of young Chad was spot on…and gah the tender-hearted connection that Tobias forged with Diana’s boy nearly brought me to my knees! Loved seeing the softer, gentler side of this Big, Bad Dom emerge with this woman and child who ended up mastering HIS heart!
I enjoyed the fast paced nature of this romance yet the author played out all the emotional and dramatic beats exceptionally well, so I never felt like any pivotal plot points were rushed or glossed over. There is palpable friction and mounting tension throughout and the romance and the suspense arcs come to a chilling head in a stunning climax that had me biting my nails and then finally heaving a sigh of relief! And that Epilogue? PURE SWOON-WORTHY PERFECTION!
I cannot recommend this book highly enough and now I cannot wait to dive into book two, SAFEGUARD, featuring Beatrice and Zack!
What can I say. This book is amazing. Tobias and Diana are just perfect for each other. I was hook from the first paragraph, all the way into the epilogue. I love how they meet. She is such a firecracker, and he is ohh so dreamy. The journey of these two is priceless. I love me some Chad too. The writing and flow of this book is done wonderfully. Highly recommend this book.
