Extremely light reading. No surprises. I thought the second couple was thrown in rather than meshed into the story. I recommend this book with the understanding that it is predicable.
No story just sex. Did not finish the book
enjoyed it.
It was ok.
When ER doctor Monica gets a job in New Orleans, she enlists ob-gyn Eli to help her plan the hospital’s charity banquet. Eli’s willing to assist, as long as Monica poses as his girlfriend to keep his matchmaking mother at bay! With “quirky humor and a charming hero” (RT Book Reviews).

good
A light read, 2 doctors falling in love in contemporary New Orleans.
romantic.
sex or not sex — after a while it gets boring. a waste of good characters
interesting!!!!!!!!
very romantic. I loved it.
Spoiler alert:
Nice read though I felt the main character’s resistance was a little contrived and annoying at times, because her decision to date him was too easy.
Not sure what happened at the end with the super quick wrap up. She just sort of forgives him with no explanation about Alicia or if the banquet gave her what she was looking for or how …
I didn’t enjoy it as much as I’d like to enjoy a novel. I must admit, I almost did not finish the story. It was awful hard for me to finish
Good read.
Fun characters, Good read. sweet and romantic
To judgemental
Characters with real jobs and real feelings. Situations were real. Nice contemporary read. This book is part of a series and the author develops the stories of the other characters so that the reader gets a grasp of the whole social setting.
Kept me reading, hard to put down.
For a Christian book, I thought it was too steamy, to much sex talk.
Terrific
This is a wonderfully written book. I loved that it was based in New Orleans after Katrina. The need for doctors to stay and come back.
