USA Today bestselling author Melissa Schroeder returns to her romantic comedy roots with a brand new three book series-Camos and Cupcakes!Allison Bradley has always known what she wanted. At thirteen, I decided to be a nurse. That very same year, I fell in love with Ed Cooper. Sure, I was barely a teenager and he was one of my older brother’s buddies from boot camp. I didn’t care. I was in love or … I didn’t care. I was in love or lust…or something. He consumed my every waking thought. Sadly, fifteen years later, I’m still infatuated and he sees me as a little sister.
Baker Ed Cooper has a problem.
When she was a teenager, Allison was a sweet nuisance. Now, I want to take a bite of her to see just how sweet. I’m beyond infatuated with her but she’s my best friend’s little sister. Definitely against the bro code. Every time she comes into our shop-which is just about every freaking day-I lust after her. If her brother knew, he would definitely kill me.
One drunken kiss changes everything.
The moment Allison’s mouth hits mine, I know there’s no going back. Just one taste of her turns me into an addict. Even though I know I’m not good enough for her, once I’ve had her in my bed, I know I’m not giving her up.
Warning: This story includes so much sweetness from the strawberry lemonade cupcakes to the sexy giant of a baker you might end up with cavities. There are meddling best friends, an older brother who needs to get his own life, and so much frosting used in inappropriate ways you’ll probably die of embarrassment. Or I will. Maybe not. Listen, just buy the book and get ready for sweet, hot, over the top kind of romance that will leave you craving for more than cupcakes. You’re welcome.

Delicious, Camos and Cupcakes, Book 1 by Melissa Schroeder
Allison Bradley became a chemo nurse in San Antonio after her mother’s battle with breast cancer. She survived but it brought Allison and her brother Harry closer together.
Ed Cooper put his time in the Army and has come back home. He opened a bakery two years ago with his two best friends. Ed is considered one of the top bakers in San Antonio.
Allison has had a crush on Ed since she was thirteen years old. Now at nearly thirty it is way more like lust. Loving him from afar is what she normally does and gets hell from her friends to just do something about it. She would but he is her older brothers’ best friend. If her brother killed him then she wouldn’t be able to ogle him. Ed Cooper remembers Allison following him around as a pesky little girl. What he finds when he comes home is a woman and she is etched in his brain. Watching her lick the icing off a cupcake nearly every day in his shop will more than likely make his eyes permanently cross for the rest of his life. Especially when she follows it with one of those low moans of hers. The only thing that is keeping him from making his move on her is her brother. Although, wouldn’t she be worth the @ss beating?
Where has this author been all my life? Seriously! Melissa Schroeder had me snorting while reading. Snorting! Her writing reminds me of Pippa Grant with the snarky sense of humor that I adore. You can’t help but smile while you are reading and then laughing out loud. I loved Allison and Ed with their inner monologues about each other. Even the secondary characters who I believe will be getting their own books, or I am hoping with crossed fingers and toes. The nicknames that Allison and Ed for each other were adorable and funny.
I loved this feel good romantic comedy story. This book was romantic, sexy, witty, funny and made me smile the whole time reading it.
Allison has been infatuated with Ed since she was a teenager and her feelings have only strengthened with time. Ed has quietly lusted after Allison for two years. After a girls night out with friends in which she got drunk, Allison makes a play for Ed and they hook up. Her brother Harry calls Ed on his feelings and Ed admits to loving her. She responds in kind and within a week Ed is living with her. On their three month anniversary Ed proposes and they begin their HEA. Highly recommend! Look forward to reading many more books by this author.

This book was so fun! Sweet, sexy, touching, funny, ah, just a perfect quick read that will leave you with a smile on your face and warmth in your heart The cast of supporting characters are just as much fun, and just as sweet, and I can’t wait to have more of this entire crew 🙂
Ed and Allison were so good together. Sweet, sexy, romantic, and funny.
This was such a fun, light hearted read. Ed (Ginger Jesus) and Allison (Strawberry Lemonade) each had what they thought was an unrequited lust.
Who knew a couple of margaritas and a few shots would end up taking them down an unexpected road?
This book will leave you feeling lighter, and with a smile on your face.
I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy.
This was a quick but great short story about a younger sister and her big brother’s best friend. It was thorough and complete despite it’s short length. I felt like the characters were well presented and fleshed out. The heat level was what I had expected. Can’t wait for Lucious!!
Just what I needed, a fun lighthearted sexy romance. You just can’t go wrong with a sexy former military ginger that bakes. Ed has the hots for his best friend’s sister, for years, and is finally realizing it’s reciprocal. Allison calls Ed by the funniest nickname, but only in her head. She’s been crushing on Ed for numerous years, her friends know it but she just needs the right circumstance for things to get rolling. Loved the relaxed and caring relationship they have, it gets better once they connect. The next couple, Harry and EJ, should be another exciting couple. It appears the series will have standalone stories, however the friends are deeply entwined and interact frequently. Reading in order might make for better reading. I received an advanced copy, my review was voluntary.
Talk about a sweet treat! Ed and Allison will have you in their corner. Ed has a thing for Allison and what he doesn’t know is that Allison has been into him since she was thirteen. All it takes is one drunken night to put into play all of their feelings but will the bro code come into play when Harry catches them together ruining what was starting to become a promising relationship?

Allison has been in love with Ed forever. Ed has been in love with her since he moved to San Antonio with his best friends, one being her brother Harry. Harry is very protective of his sister and Ed is intimidated enough to not upset his friendship balance. Well he takes her home after she has been drinking with her besties and stays in case she needs him. Staying on her couch is not an option for a 6’4” guy so he sleeps in her king sized bed with her. So what will happen when Harry finds out what’s going on and will Ed stand up for her? Well written and interesting from first page to last. Characters so well described, you can actually picture them! Can’t wait for Harry’s story. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book
Loved Allison and Ed
Allison Bradley has crushed on Ed Cooper since the day her brother brought him home after they completed basic for the Army. She was 13. At 28 her feeling have’t changed.
Two year ago, her brother, Harry, Ed and their other best friend, Fritz, left the Army and opened a bakery, Camos and Cupcakes. Her brother keep the books, Fritz is the face of the business and Ed, Ed is the baker. His cup cakes are to die for. He even named her favorite, after her. Ed sees her as a kid sister. While she has dated, she can’t let go of Ed. Her “Ginger Jesus”.
Ed Bradley has always liked his best friends little sister. She is like sunshine, bright and happy. When they got out of the Army and opened their bakery, he noticed his sunshine had grown up. Now he can’t stop thinking about her. She is his best friend little sister. Even if it didn’t go against the “Bro Code” He just doesn’t feel he is good enough for her.
Girls night out has Ed coming to Allison’s aid. Afraid of leaving her alone. He spends the night When Allison finds him in her kitchen the next morning, she quickly realizes that Ed sees as more than a little sister and makes her move. Who is Ed to say no to his sunshine.
A fun, fast pace and steamy romance. Loved Ed and Allison. Her bestys, EJ and Savannah are everything you want in a best friends. Harry is a great big brother, even if he is on the OCD, and over protective side. Fritz and Savannah’s brother Austin, are fun pretty boys, who are nice guys too. Can’t wait for EJ and Harry’s story and to learn what really happened on “The Date From Hell”
I had pre-orded this book and was lucky enough to receive an advanced copy and this is my honest review.
It’s Delightful. It’s Mouth Watering.
Delicious, Book One of the Camos and Cupcake Series was, in fact, delicious. The author, Melissa Schroeder, certainly showed us she knows her way around a storyline, character development, and making romcoms actually that. Light and witty and this is exactly what Delicious does. Chapter after chapter there is something that draws you in, engages, then leaves you with a smile, followed by repeating this for each chapter.
The main characters, Ginger Jesus and Sunshine (aka Ed and Allison) are perfect for each other although they haven’t acted upon it since forever. Thank god one of them got too drunk to drive and needed to call the other for a ride home and the person not only drove the person home but carried them into the house and put them to bed where there lives changed forever.
Definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and pleasure. There is also a little tease on Book two, Luscious. Peace.

Absolutely smashing! Delicious is a combination of sweet and spicy that makes it a delight for the brain.
Allison has had a crush on Ed Cooper since she was thirteen. She isn’t a kid anymore and Ed Cooper is back and hotter than the ovens he bakes his scrumptious creations in. Ed has been back from the Army and he and two buddies have put Ed’s skills in the kitchen to work in their bakery. He has noticed his friends little sister is all grown up but his wanting her breaks the bro-code. Fate has a way and when these two get together they are combustible. This story is told with wit and love and I relished each word.
Allison has loved Ed since she was a teenager and Ed’s been hot for Allison since he joined her brother and their best friend in their new business two years ago, but each thinks the other isn’t interested. That is until one drunken kiss changes everything. This is a delicious story with a charming HEA ending. It’s a quick, easy, fun read you won’t want to put down. Allison and Ed are delightful and are just so right for each other. In fact, all the characters are very appealing and make you want to read more about them. I can’t wait for “Luscious,” the next in the series!
Ed Cooper is a delicious ginger.
Allison has had a crush on Ed Cooper, one if her brother Harry’s best friends, since she was a teenager.
He is the cupcake baker at Camo and Cupcakes in San Antonio.
Now at 28, will one kiss lead to more?
Ed Cooper is a redhead ginger, a tatted baker with a Harley and an SUV. He stands in for Harry to give the trio of girls a lift home after a night out. He’s been jones on Allison for the past year.
Sweet and deliciously spicy.
Recommend.

I really liked that Allison and Ed both had feelings for each other but didn’t act on it until Allison got drunk. I loved that Ed was a baker. I also really enjoyed the banter between Allison, EJ and Savannah. I am excited to find out more about EJ’s story.

Annoying Brothers! Check!
And off the charts chemistry… Double Check!
Allison and Ed are good friends and they have kept that friendship off limits because there is too much at stake. But that doesn’t stop them from lusting after each other and wanting more.
Delicious is a fast read which has you cheering for these two because who doesn’t want a man who could bake up a storm and cook you breakfast in the morning! Melissa Schroeder definitely found an amazing combination with this group and it will leave you wanting your own Ed Cupcake!!!
I am usually not a fan of first person reads, but let me tell you, this is definitely an exception. This book is amazing. I am a huge fan of Melissa Schroeder and this book is icing on the cake…pun intended. The book is hot and the characters are true. I love the dynamic between the best friends and how the ladies fit in. A cupcake shop for 3 ex-military men is just so precious. I seriously love this book.

Delicious is a fun fast read in which false assumptions lead to hilarious results.
Allison has been in love with Ed Cooper since her brother Harry brought him home to visit after basic training. Her attraction intensifies after Ed, Harry and another Army friend Fritz open a cupcake shop in San Antonio. Ed is the baker and Allison is as addicted to his cupcakes as she is to him, but she is convinced that Ed only sees her as a little sister. Ed will not ask her out because she is his best friend’s sister. All that changes when Allison and her two best friends go out and get incredibly drunk. Ed is called to get Allison home, which leads to revelations about their true feelings for each other and innovative usage of frosting.

Absolutely fantastic! A compelling, thought-provoking, and passionate 1st book in the ‘Camos & Cupcakes’ series! The storyline is fast pace, well though-out, funny, witty, and emotionally deep. The characters are likeable and great together; their chemistry is potent and off the charts. This book will captivate you from page one and hold your interest until the very end. Looking forward to reading the ext book in the series. Definitely recommended!

Wow! This story was sweet and hot at the same time. The story was great and I loved the characters. I laughed out loud as well as did a little squirming in my chair. My gracious, what is there not to absolutely adore about Ed. He is hot as hell and he can bake yes please. The frosting scene was mouth watering. This is the beginning of a great series and I’m excited to continue the journey. Until next time y’all happy reading.
