Reese Bradford is a typical Bradford, he enjoys his food, is easy on the eyes, and has a killer smile, but there’s one thing about him that he doesn’t want anyone to know about, which of course is the first thing that his ex-fiance makes sure that everyone finds out about after she leaves him for his best friend. Out of options, he reluctantly heads out of town to spend the summer in the cottage … cottage that he’d rented for his honeymoon only to find himself tormented by a woman that never should have crossed his mind twice.
More intrigued than he’d ever thought possible, he can’t help but wonder about the woman that made him smile.

Another hit for a great series.
I love this author and all of her characters. The secondary characters are interesting and well placed supporting the storyline while entertaining in their own way. Reese and Kasey are lovable and personable and play easily off of each other. The give and take, both literally and figuratively, is written in such a matter of fact way that I almost missed the first instance. Their passion is off the charts hot, and the spicy scenes are so steamy that I found myself reaching for my ice water more than once. Whew! The author makes all of these characters seem so real and believable that I have to remind myself when I’m done that they aren’t real and I won’t find a Bradford for myself. I’ll be waiting impatiently for Irresistible.
Goodness, I loved Reese and Kasey’s story, they are broken in their own way and have a story to tell. The secondary characters was great and you can’t help but love Mikey she fits so perfect in the Bradford family.
Reese and Kasey are crazy and wonderful. Loved the ogling and rating of the men – too fun and funny. Great story and wonderful characters. RL Mathewson never disappoints! Definitely recommend!
Kasey doesn’t like to give Reese his clothes back, “I’m running out of shirts, sweetheart,” he said, sighing heavily as though this somehow pained him when he should feel honored that she was willing to wear his shirts.” Kasey sometimes figures it’s best not to argue with her man, “actually, I thought you were a pain in the *** when I first met you,” he said, tossing her shorts aside and since she couldn’t really argue that one, she didn’t.” I love this series, it’s always a one click for me and this book didn’t disappoint, I fell in love with Reese and Kasey. The girl was just so spunky.
I’ve read most of The Neighbors from Hell series. I loved the first three books in the series. The rest of them are varied degrees of okay. This book tells the story of Reese and Kasey. Reese has been very and publicly dumped by his fiancé. She writes him a note, which is posted online, letting him know she was running off with his best friend. In the note, she lets him know that she is leaving him because he is a 29 year old virgin. He decides to take time off from his job as a cop and go to his honeymoon cottage. Kasey is the next-door neighbor at the cottage. Kasey was a wild child as a young teen, until she met Michael. She gets pregnant at 15, then finds out her boyfriend has cancer. They get married, and he dies before they baby, Mikey, is born. Flash forward 10 years, and Reese and his Bradford cousins are moving into he cottage next door for the summer. Of course, they clash initially, but eventually fall in love. I didn’t dislike this book, it just wasn’t that exciting. I felt like it dragged at points. If you have read and liked the series, you will probably like this installment.
Aahhh! Loved this story! Snark, hilarious, sensual, & sweet! Yummy (a.k.a. Reese) is my ideal man! Casey is a school of hard knocks single mom who wasn’t looking for love. A series of hilarious unfortunate events lands Casey in Yummy’s arms and as we say in baseball ‘the game is on.’ The characters are likable and believable and the storyline is entertaining! The narrator did a great job with providing unique voices for each character and appropriate tone inflections for each scene!
