A girls’ night out. A handsome stranger. A lifetime of secrets. Scarlett Trent is a young, gorgeous, and successful career woman who is fiercely protective of her reputation in the local business community. When she meets someone from her past, their instant chemistry throws her off balance, and that’s the last position she wants to be in. Especially with him.Meet Dev Jackson. He never chased … him.
Meet Dev Jackson. He never chased anyone. They chased him, and that’s how he played the game until now. No woman excites him as much as Scarlett. She’s hot, sexy with a sassy edge, and that right there scares the hell out of him. As the heat between them rises, doubt begins to plague him. He works the shallow vibe hard because he’s got secrets about his alternative lifestyle and unconventional career choices that he’d rather keep under wraps.
His attitude isn’t the only thing threatening their budding romance. Someone else wants to see them sever ties.
Definition of Stripped is a full-length novel. It’s book one of the Definition series and ends with a lead in to the next book – Definition of Craving. If you don’t enjoy books that touch on subjects some people may perceive as taboo, it probably isn’t for you.

When Scarlett meets someone from her past, it throws her. Dev was the teenage son of her ex, the ex she left 6 years ago when he cheated on her. Paul was a horrible father, a horrible person, really, and Scarlett just couldn’t be with him any longer. Scarlett didn’t want to leave Dev, who is only a few years younger than she, but for her sanity she had to leave. Now 6 years later, Dev’s back in her life, and he wants her. He’s always wanted her. And Scarlett wants him, too. But, can she have him? Should she let herself have him? She knows she shouldn’t, especially when his “occupations” come to light, but she just can’t seem to help herself. Her mind and body love Dev, and love isn’t logical.
The ending leaves things open to interpretation. I wouldn’t really call it a HFN ending, definitely not a HEA, but things are left on a hopeful note. I definitely cannot wait to read Definition of Craving and Definition of Redemption now!
Before you start reading this book make sure that you read the prequel “Definition Of Flawed” so you can get a feel for some of the characters! This book’s storyline was well written and the characters were so well rounded that my interest was totally captured from the very first page and remained throughout the entire book!
Though this book can be read on its own I recommend reading Definition of Flawed first. The chemistry between Scarlett and Dev is really intense and yet again the story is full suspense and secrets. I am so excited to find out what happens next.
Stripped by Lia Peele
That prequel Flawed needs to be read before this book.
Stripped takes place 6 years after the last story ended. Scarlett has started her business and become successful in her field. She goes out with the girls one night and is “shocked” when she finds of all people “Dev”. He has also become a successful business owner and done well. This is the beginning of their story, they began as friends years ago but there is a spark there for more.
Their day to day lives together are full of ups and downs, so many secrets that Dev hides causing troubles when revealed. You catch yourself sitting on the edge of your seat waiting for the next shoe to drop ! Meanwhile there appears to be more trouble headed their way. Possibly a stalker !!
Stay tuned for Craved , next in the series.

OMG! I absolutely flipping love Definition of Stripped! This is the first book in the Definition series by author Lia Peele and can be read it as a standalone. Although, I highly suggest you read the prequel, Definition of Flawed, first. It will give you a better foundation to appreciate and fully understand the dynamic between Dev and Scarlett.
Definition of Stripped begins six years after the book Definition of Flawed ends. Dev has grown into a successful, sexy bad boy and Scarlett (Lett) has stayed busy starting her own business. One evening, Lett and her best friend Sian, decide to go to a strip bar for a night of fun. Lett completely drools over Adrian, the headliner of the show. He’s completely hot and has a couple of well-placed piercings, which she drools over. When Lett is approached at the end of the evening, she realizes that she’s been working so hard and in need of a little fun.
Definition of Stripped is well written and full of drama, angst, and has some deliciously yummy sex scenes. You’ll need a couple extra pairs of panties!

I am addicted to Dev – and waiting for more. Stripped gave me two of my faves – a bad boy and a woman who didn’t succeed in her attempts to change him. Naughty, captivating, I was hooked from page one. Dev and Scarlett sizzled. I can’t wait for the evolution of these characters.
Wow, Dev and Scarlett have an undeniable connection between them and that is saying something. Dev never chases after women but Scarlett is one woman he can not get enough of. They have a connection through his father but will that prevent them from getting together? I loved tis story and I didn’t see the ending coming!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
You definitely want to read Definition of Flawed which is the prequel as it really sets the scene for this book. Scarlett thought she was in love 6 years ago but it didn’t work out and she walked away not only from a relationship she couldn’t save but also Dev the teenage son of the douche bag she was seeing. She is now a successful business woman after throwing herself into work and has no time for guys she is a love em then leave em kinda girl. Her world it then tipped sideways after going to a strip club and finding out the hottest stripper there is Dev and he is all grown up now. There are definitely a lot of emotions going on through out this book and we only find out snippets about what led Dev to be where he is now and he blows hot n cold with Scarlett but she also appears to push him away at times also so be prepared to be frustrated at both of them at times. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series and hope we get to know a lot more of what happened to Dev and where things will go for them both next!
This is the story of Dev and Scarlett. They meet up after six years apart. Dev has many secrets. Scarlett has become a successful business woman. Will Dev’s secrets keep them apart or bring them closer together? A stalker situation seems to be developing as a sub plot. I am looking forward to reading the next book. A great read that will leave you wanting more.
I received an arc and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Sizzling!!!
An amazing continuation to ‘Flawed’
6 years after leaving, ‘Paul the Jerk’, she reconnects with Dev who takes her on an emotional rollercoaster that will leave you begging for more!
Another amazing read!!!
Dev and Scarlett run into each other six years after Definition of Flawed, and both are in very different places in their lives now. Dev is one seriously hot male specimen, and Scarlett has built up a business that she can really be proud of. I loved the push and pull of their story, and Dev has proven to be a complex man, but does he really want it all with Scarlett? I’m so into this series and want to read more!
I received this as an ARC and I am voluntarily leaving a review of my opinion. This is the first in the Definition series. I really enjoyed this book between Dev and Scarlett. Dev and Scarlett meet up again after six years of separation. Dev has changed drastically since the last time Scarlett had seen him when he just turned 18. As they get to know each other again, secrets become revealed and their relationship builds and falls.
We met Dev and Scarlett in Definition of Flawed I liked them together and was hoping for more.
Dev is one complicated dude so many issues. The thing he sucks at is relationships, the hot and cold that would piss me off so much.
I loved how this isn’t an easy read, you’re sucked in and you want to keep reading. I felt for Scarlett so much the pain and hurt.
This story is full of grits and guts, it’s not pretty because life and love sometimes isn’t either.
The ending, however, whoa, didn’t see that coming.
