Defiant Princess: Boys of Oak Park Prep, Book Two was another great read by Callie Rose. This book picks up where book one left off. Talia was able to stand up for herself and got vengeance against the princes. There is a mysterious ally that offers Talia support, but she has no idea who it is. I can’t wait to read more by Callie Rose. I loved Kasi Hollowell’s narrations and the life that she brought to the characters.
Boys of Oak Park Prep Book Two.
Talia is on the outside of the school again, after The Princes enacted their revenge. She’s been disowned, sent back to Idaho and put into foster care. However, a lawyer sent by a mysterious backer comes to her rescue. The lawyer frees up some of an inheritance left by Talia’s mother, but the judge in charge of the trust sets one requirement – Talia must return to Oak Park Prep and graduate to gain access to the money. Now Talia is back, but even her former friends are no longer speaking to her. Considering her plans for vengeance, Talia puts everything else aside and gathers what she needs to take down The Princes.
If you’re looking for a book with high school drama, past secrets and a ruthless desire for revenge, this is the book for you! Beware-there is a cliffhanger, so you will want to have the third book ready to go.

What a rollercoaster of actions and emotions! We jump back in not far after the first book in this series and start of running. I loved everything about this story and the way it ended has me begging to see what happens next. Perfect writing and narration.
This story just keeps getting better and better. I love Talia’s fighting spirit, no matter how often she gets knocked down this girl just keeps trudging forward and gets stronger.
I have to get answers to all the questions looming in my head.
Wow what a series!
Kasi’s narration is fantastic.

I listened to the audible version. This is not a stand alone novel. You have to have read/listened to book one, and you will want to continue to book three. There are many unanswered questions.
I had mixed feelings about the first book and preferred this one. It was more about personal growth and less about relationships. I liked that early in the book, Talia wonders who holding on to anger hurts the most. For the series in general, I would have liked to see more positive ways to deal with bullying that don’t involve more bullying.
Overall, the narration was great and I liked the story much more than the first book.

This is the second book in the Boys of Oak Park Prep Series, an amazing Reverse Harem and High School Bully Romance. The story continues where the last book ended. We learn more about Talia, and the Princes, Mason, Finn, Elias, and Cole. They are such wonderful dark characters! The secondary characters are intriguing, and they have an important part in this story. The storyline is fast-paced, and filled with unpredictable twists and turns. The story ends with a big cliffhanger. Now, I can’t wait to listen to the next ans last book in the Series, Broken Empire. Kasi Hollowell did an amazing job with the narration. I love her male voice! I enjoyed it and I highly recommend this Series.
Talia went back to Idaho, only to be in a foster home. This lady didnt care what she did, only stay out of trouble. One day a lawyer showed up, and told her she can go to court to receive part of her mothers inheritance. But who was the person that paid for the lawyer? The judges one stipulation she had to finish her education at Oak Park Prep School! One thing she wanted to do is revenge, take them all down, play their game. and a dangerous one it was. This story ends in a shocking cliffhanger. Kasi Hollowel narration is amazing, giving all the characters their own voice and personality. audiobookobsessionreview
Revenge, empowerment, torment, and sexual tension oh my. Four versus one, and one versus four. This book kept me on my toes, and had me by the feels. I absolutely could not put it down and read it in a day. If you’re contemplating it just stop and do it.
**spoiler alert** I was riveted the whole way through. I literally could not put it down. I loved how Talia came back stronger and ready to fight but that in the end, she was the bigger person and didn’t use what she had to destroy the Princes. I hope that the final book is just as good and that all my questions are answered!
I was engrossed while listening to Book 1 of the Boys of Oak Prep series and I am not gonna lie, I was tempted to not read/listen to Book 2 because of the horribleness of their treachery and destruction of “Idaho”‘s life. I couldn’t believe their audacity. But holy moly, does Talia come back with a vengeance!! I was not expecting to love this story and be sucked in like I was with Savage Royals, but boy was I wrong/surprised!!
First with the story…I am not going to give away spoilers but enjoyed Defiant Princess more than Savage Royals and fell in love with Callie’s writing on the spot. I thought some of the concepts were kinda childish and you could see what was going to happen within the first couple chapters, but the emotion and feelings Callie was able to force from me was epic to say the least. I fell in love with the boys as we got to see their background. It doesnt take away from the injustice of their actions or how they deserve every bad thing in this book after what they did to Talia. I wouldn’t have been able to forgive them because I would have broken, unlike Talia. I think Elijah and Finn won my heart in this book. There are some scenes that are hard for me to read, but the Princes stepped in when they needed to and Talia was there for them with some brutal reality checks and annihilation of the walls they erected around themselves. I will say the “former best friends” really irked me and honestly, I would be more pissed at them over the Princes in some respects. I was not a fan of how that their relationship was brought back but oh well. Only dislike of the book actually.
For narration, Kasi does a phenomenal job!! I can’t praise her enough. I barely heard any mistakes and really thought it brought this world back to life. She elevated the story, which is the main mission for a narrator of a story. Fantastic job, thank you for a great performance.
Overall, I wish I could rate these audiobooks higher. Yes, the story isn’t the most original, but the delivery and relationships/feelings that are growing and forming are amazing. I couldn’t even wait for Book 3 to release on audio. I bought the book because this one ends on a horrible cliffhanger. I yelled at my iPad on the plane when it started the normal ending to an audiobook haha. Now that 3 is available, I am gonna get that one and relive the ending of this fabulous series

* AUDIOBOOK REVIEW *
The first book in this series did not impress me BUT this one; Wow, I couldn’t turn it off. The storyline is progressing and thus ends on a cliffhanger which I normally don’t like very much but it’s worth it. Can’t wait for the next
No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
Lots of feelings and the dialogues is good, the whole story flows so much better than the previous.
I feel like I know the characters better now as their secrets is revealed slowly.
The chemistry is great between all the main characters.
This book will have you longing for the next, I held my breath at the ending. Addictive listen
Narrator:
Clear pronunciation and read with feelings
5 star overall

Another Mind Blow of a Story! Fantastic Audible Listen
Defiant Princess
Boys of Oak Park Prep, Book 2
By: Callie Rose
Narrated by: Kasi Hollowell
Consider me wowed, Callie Rose completely blew my mind by the end of the 1st book, “Savage Royals” She is a gifted author who takes her readers/listeners for a ride, sucks them in to her story, captivates their mind then sweeps the rug from under your feet. She does the same in this second book, events turn right from the start and I must say I am #TeamTalia all the way, I was almost swayed to the boys side, but but the jury is still out on #TeamRoyal after that ending. I liked how Talia takes on a new ‘take no prisoners’ approach, she is a girl on a mission and has a new founded strength and determination to not only survive but to stand up to those who wronged her. It was great to see a different side of the royals and get a glimpse of what makes makes Mason, Finn, Elijah and Cole tick, what is behind their antics. Everything is not revealed yet and I am really looking forward to the next book in the series. There is a lot more I need to know but no spoilers here, get this series now, be sure to start with the first book, you will not be disappointed. The story and narration is fantastic!
I listened to the Audible edition, narrated by the talented Kasi Hollowell, she continues to bring these characters to life, giving each their own distinct voice and personality, making it easy to follow the characters and story. She sets the perfect tone for the story, adds a nice dramatic flare which enhances this great story to another level of greatness. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fantastic listen

Kasi Hollowell does another great job with these characters. I know who is who and that’s so comforting.
Nooooooooo. You cannot possibly leave it there! Oh. My. Goodness! I do have to admit that I guessed the twist as soon as the preamble appeared in the book, but it really didn’t spoil my enjoyment of the story. I’ve gotten quite attached to these characters and really wanted to know what was going on and how it was going to play out. I really need to know what happens next…
