Professional hockey player Sergei Petrov has had a rough time after the tragic loss of his beloved wife. Playing hockey and taking care of his son are all he has time for; getting traded was not on the agenda. Neither was a sexy, hockey-playing nanny to further complicate things. Star college athlete Danielle Cloutier may dominate the rink, but off the ice, she’s an amateur. She’s been trying to … trying to get rid of her virginity for years, but guys are always intimidated by her strength. That changes when she meets her new boss. Chemistry between them sizzles, hot enough to melt the most frozen of hearts, but Danielle can’t afford to get attached.
Sergei doesn’t know what to do with the beautiful, stubborn woman, but watching her turn his new house into a home gives him a few ideas. Can he come to terms with his feelings before she skates out of his life for good?

Warning sexual content this is a good book but you need to be aware but it actually has a good story to go along with it. Of a dad trying to do right by his son after his moms gone. He meets someone that his son has become attached to.
Wow. I really loved this book. I couldn’t put it down!
Loved this story! Although at times you want to scream through frustration it is an enjoyable read!
Could not get past second chapter. Not great or even good stor line. Rare for me to juse stop reading but my time is worth so much more than a bad uninteresting story.
Awesome read. Was thoroughly entertained
Enjoyable quick read. A few errors that could’ve been corrected by a good editor or grammar checker didn’t spoil my fun.
I liked these characters. They had flaws but were still interesting. Note, note a lot of hockey other than lead plays in NHL
Loved this book And characters. Couldn’t wait to see how it finished
I purchased this book not realizing it was the beginning of a spin off series. That being said, I found the transition very easy as the author referred to past characters and events. Overall a very good read. The H/h were well developed, with depth and strength. I appreciate the heroine being written as a strong, determined and accomplished woman. A good story line and HEA. I have also read the next 2 books in this series which were just as enjoyable.
“Constant barrage of questions…” as quoted in this book….That’s all I asked myself a constant barrage of questions. Why is he talking about his ex wife and dead wife again? Why is she telling anyone who isn’t a girl that he was her first everything? Why is there another sex scene? Why is he constantly pushing her away and she keeps coming back ? Why is she such a doormat ? Why is this author so body obsessed ? We get it Dani has muscles and not a lot of guys like that but I don’t need it repeated twelve times. What is he defending Dani from except from maybe himself ?! Why did the author not space the paragraph so I knew who was who? And why oh why did at least no less than three people were mention to have been murdered and why is everyone together either from their spouse dying or some form of dysfunction? And at last but not least why do I need to know when you’re eating or going out to eat? Or exactly what you’re eating. This book could have been good but was lowered to two stars due to the constant whiplash of emotions and repetition, it just took away my desire to like this story. Its a okay story just not great because we the readers are constantly bombarded with the woe is me situation.
Another book with a lot of sex and not a lot of story. They are both hockey players. He is professional and she is going to the Olympics. His wife died and he has a small son. She agrees to be a nanny for a few months before she has to leave but they get together. For her it’s her first time. Their families are intertwined Big part of the book is how they can be apart.
I really liked this book and can’t wait to read the rest in the series
A rocky road to a great romance.
Fantastic book!
enjoyed it!
The ups and downs of family life and hockey. Sergei finally comes to his senses and realises that pushing Dani away is not the right outcome for him and Nico. Very steamy.
If you’re a fan of hockey series you’ll like this one!
I love this author! Her stories and her writing are just great but her characters are the BEST! She is new to me but I’m plowing thru all her books and loving them all! Read this you won’t be sorry!
This series is basically about the lives of hockey players. I don’t know much (any) about hockey and wasn’t sure I would enjoy this, but it was informative and the characters were interesting.
This was such a great book, Kat’s new hockey series is tiring out to one of her best.
