Lieutenant Colonel Ed Alexander never wanted to be a babysitter – until he met the Colonel’s daughter.A decorated war hero shouldn’t be asked to look after his commanding officer’s daughter. But when Anastacia Vaughan is abducted, beaten and dumped in an ambulance bay, Ed doesn’t have a choice. He can vow to defend her, but he can’t vow not to fall in love. Even when that love may cost lives of … that love may cost lives of those he holds dear.
Raised as an ‘Army Brat’ with a father that every soldier knows, Anastacia had one rule: never date a guy in uniform. Now, her ex-husband wants money she doesn’t have, and the man sworn to protect and serve refuses to see her as more than a client.
In this military suspense romance, will Ed save Anastacia before it’s too late and will Anastacia finally escape from her ex-husband’s circle of fear.
From the author of Avenge Her, Protect Her and Save Her – an emotionally brutal military suspense romance. See how far this war hero will go to defend the woman he loves. Full length romance novel that will make you believe in love.

This is swoon-worthy. Ed Alexander meets a mysterious woman whom at the end of a masquerade ball gives him a Wowee! kiss. He later finds out she was the Colonel’s daughter and was kidnapped and beaten that night. He originally told the Colonel he wouldn’t “babysit” his 20something year old daughter who had left her husband and was getting a divorce. Needless to say, Ed changed his mind, called up his team and worked out a plan to protect her…but best laid plans, etc. There are few twists, falling in love but not wanting to admit it, lots of action, humor and snarkiness. I couldn’t put the book down until I finished.

As he steps into keep her safe the attraction between them grows but danger is circling ever closer will he be able to keep her safe when her own stupid decisions put her in danger. This is a well written romantic suspense that draws you in from the beginning and keeps you engaged until you turn the last page
The fourth book in the Aussie Military Romance series a well written book that held my interest throughout. Anastacia Vaughan meets Lieutenant Colonel Edison Alexander at a masquerade dance where she is wearing a red gown and they have one kiss but do not know each others name. Ed was asked the day before to look after Staci by her father Colonel Vaughan as threats have been made against her life. When she ends up beaten and in hospital Ed realizes she was his lady in red. They will have so much to get through before they get their happy ending. I hope there are more books to come in this series. This is a well written book with strong characters and a deep emotional story line. The author does a great job building the anxiety and tension with the danger following Anastacia and Ed along with his military brothers who are all protecting her. The chemistry between them is strong and their passion for each other sizzles. The scenes are painted in vivid detail, bringing the story to life. I was hooked from start to finish and loved reading their story. Highly recommend this book.
